Title: A Break
Sirus - April 21, 2008 01:29 AM (GMT)
Sirus walked throught the trees, his cloak staying near to him, swishing against the brush softly. His katana lay in it's sheath, resting nicely on his belt. The Elven man spotted a break in the trees, accompanies by the sounds of running water. The roars of a waterfall were heard, bringing a smile to his face. The Memphian falls were a grand sight, well hidden from the corruption of man. The serene beauty entranced him, drawing him near. Sirus stood at the edge of the lake, gazing at his reflection in the strangely still water. He spotted a small bunch of hair knotted and sticking up and set to fixing it, in case there was anybody around. He held the vanity of most dragons, even some small bit further than most.
He untied his cloak and set it on a rock, wrapped around his Blade. He smiled at the sight of the steel blade, kept in perfect shape, but still seeming a minor thing, a tool at best. What he truly wished for was a scimitar, a beautiful but deadly blade. He wondered what the cost would be of having one made for him by the dark elves, fine craftsmen as they were. In his eyes, their works rivalled the dwarves.
Sirus shrugged and dove into the lake, disrupting the peace. Fish swam away and hid in the shadows. The water was quite cold, not quite warmed by the spring season, but it did not bother him. He swam through it a bit before looking around quickly. His Elven form bothered him, as he had been in it for some while now, too long by his own reckoning.

Sava wandered away from her house, that was only a couple miles from the lake, and falls, actually, it was probably closer then a couple mile.s, it just wasn't visible through the trees that surrounded her home. From the like, people wold probably be only to see the one tower of the palace. Sava walked in her human form towards the lake. Her feet crunching on the ground lightly as she went, barely making a noise.
She was simple today, wearing a black long sleeved peasant top that had small bell sleeves at the end and then a green skirt that fluttered around her ankles that were bare foot. At her side was one weapon, her lightning longsword. She rested one hand on the hilt of the sword as she went. Her hair was down and fell over her shoulders. Her green black eyes taking in the lovely scenery.
As she walked closer to the falls, she heard the rumbling grow louder as the water crashed onto the Richimon Lake. A small smile played over her face, and she quickened her pace, only to slow it once she noticed someone jump into the water. She slowly made her way to the lake, by staying in the shadows of the trees. Suddenly, she disappeared in the shadow, and reappeared in a shadow near the lake, her feet barely touching the edge of the lake. She watched the surface of the water.
She then turned her head and noticed the person had left his things there. She wandered over there, leaving the safety of the shadows, but barely cared much. When near she let her hand hover slightly over the cloak, and noticed it was wrapped around a sword. It wasn't of the best quality like her magic sword, but it seemed like a nice blade non the less. She turned her attention away from the blade, and went back to the waters edge, waiting for the person to resurface. Her curiosity growing.
Sirus - April 21, 2008 03:29 AM (GMT)
Sirus loked around under the water, feeling the sand at the bottom. He loved the feel of it between his fingers. Fish swam away from him as he made his way throught. Feeling a slight burning in his chest, he resurfaced for air. He spotted a woman standing near his cloak and sword, loking at him. Curiosity growing, he wondered if she had tried to steal anything. He swam to her, curiosity in his eyes. As he approached, he studied her features with interest. Something about her seemed familiar to him, but he could not make out what it was.
He looked back to the caves quickly, wondering if he should take his things and return to them, but decided not to. He climbed out and faced the woman with a smile. "Hello, there. Nice day, eh? Thought i'd take a dip in my-erm the lake." He smiled all the wider.
The girl interested him, green streaks making him wonder what had created them. Vary few people played with dyes in Imythess, and Sirus would never approach them. In his eyes he was perfect. His vanity would eventually prove to be his downfall, and he knew it.
He kept his attention on her as he went over to his things and checked them absentmindedly. "My name's Sirus. I'm a regular here. May i know your name?" He asked with a bow. Figuring it would be polite. As he rose, he spotted her sword. It had a feel about it, a magical quality. He studied it interestedly. A natural curiosity for treasure made him stare impolitely for a moment before he grinned at her, wondering why she was here of all places. Nobody ever visited these parts and he was only here because he took residence in the caves quite a bit.

Sava watched the man come out of the water, and as he approached her. She said nothing, but merely watched him, studying him. He had a familiar thing about him, one that she often felt around dragons and half-dragons. But looked him over, and noticed he moved like a warrior, and she cocked her head slightly, in much of a way a dragon one. Her eyes seemed plain as she watched him come forward.
"Hello, there. Nice day, eh? Thought i'd take a dip in my-erm the lake."
A thin smile played over her face, as she noticed what he had said but covered up, but she pretended she hadn't noticed. "Greetings, sir warrior." She merely said, and bowed her head lightly. Then turned a little, when he started looking through his things. "No need to worry. I didn't take anything. Nothing of use there for me. And sides, I'm not a thief, as I'm sure you would have noticed by now." She said simply. Then listened as he spoke again.
"My name's Sirus. I'm a regular here. May i know your name?"
"A regular, hmm?... I don't believe I've seen you here before. But then, I don't come here often." She said, that same smile still on her face. "I am Savarkael Nightwind." She said, and bowed slightly. Then she straightened, and shifted from foot to foot for a minute.
"Where do you come from, Sirus? You can't be from around here, can you? I normally know when others decide to move here." She said, and smirked.
Sirus - April 21, 2008 01:46 PM (GMT)
Sirus frowned as she said her name. He had heard it before... oh well. He grinned and looked to the caves. "I come from the north, where the winds blow the coldest." He smiled to himself. She may figure it out at some point, but did it matter? He smiled to himself as a flicker of remembrance came into his mind, but he couldn't scrounge anything from the vague memory. He shrugged to himself and returned his stare back to the woman.
"I take residence in the caves here. Such beautiful things, the crystals. Anyhow, would you like to join me?" He asked warmly, walking back into the lake. As he floated on the surface, he looked over her. Her hair reminded him of something... He set to remembering what it was. He had been warned about the falls by a blue, having told him another dragon was somewhat terretorial. Could this be the dragon? Best not to find out, he decided. Sirus let himself sink under and swam towards the bottom.
For a silver, he held a great liking of the water and the ice, but he enjoyed the waters a deal more than most. Perhaps his time in the area had cooled him. He shrugged under the water and watched Sava from underneath, watching her rippling form. Sirus came up for air and dove back under. As he turned up a second time, he felt his foot hit something hard. He looked below him and spotted a small boulder. Angrily, he seized it, but was inable to move it.
Sirus pondered turning back into his natural form to destroy the hindrance, but realized he must cool his temper until he knew this woman better. If she was a dragon, surely she would know who he was by now.

"I come from the north, where the winds blow the coldest."
Sava's thoughts instantly went to think about the Frozen North. she had heard of many things about the Frozen North, and read many books about it, though, she had never met anyone from it, especially not a dragon from the north. She knew he was a dragon, the familiar feeling, and the way he looked. Normal elves didn't look how he did, his eyes reminded Sava of the steel dragon Valen she had met a while ago in Taras with Lady Era. Sava was eager to see the north herself some day, but she had a feeling she wouldn't like the cold, if she didn't like the desert, why would a frozen wasteland be any better?
"I take residence in the caves here. Such beautiful things, the crystals. Anyhow, would you like to join me?"
She raised a eyebrow, an amused look creeping into her oddly colored eyes. She disliked the idea of other dragons taking residence so close to her home. She glanced over her shoulder, in the direction her house was, but then turned to face the elf again. She watched as he went into the water again, and then underwater. Her gaze looked over the calm water, then she looked up at the falls. It was a beautiful place, no wonder why other dragons wanted this place, but she didn't know if she should allow this.
Her mother Sheva had be very territorial, always chasing off other dragons, killing them if need be. Though Sava was not like her mother or father, she still inherited some of their genes. And the idea of keeping other dragons from her home made her feel more like a master of this place.
She walked to the edge of the lake, and sat down, she considered swimming, but she wore a skirt, and she didn't quite feel like swimming, not now anyway. She looked at the water, and waited for him to resurface, she was curious about this one. He probably didn't know she was a dragon, but she had the feeling he was suspicious, but she would play a human, and not act like a dragon, not yet anyway.
Sirus - April 23, 2008 01:00 AM (GMT)
A grin came to his face as he remembered her name. He had heard of her, as part of a basic telling from another dragon cohort. He had explained several areas of Imythess and who they were guarded by. Fortunately, there were few dragons about, so the lesson was short. She was a black as well as a green. That explained the hair color, as well as several other features. Her general human form could not be as telling as his own elven form, as humans came in many shapes and sizes. Elves were often quite similar to each other, making perfection difficult. Sirus grinned wider as he understood her behavior as he told her where he stayed most of the time. Dragons were naturally territorial, some more than others.
He contemplated turning into a dragon, in an effort to coax her to do the same. He was curious by nature and wanted to get to know this one. He dove under and smiled as he turned. The lake seemed to shrink and the surroundings grew clearer as his features improved along with his senses. The water grew noticeably colder, as if cooled by his inner cold. Several popping and sucking sounds echoed through the water as his bones reformed. The entire process took only moments. He gazed to the surface, seeing Sava as clearly as the fish around him. He swam a bit, using his tail to paddle him upwards.
Most dragons would be hesitant to show themselves to strangers, for fear of persecution, or more annoyance at the inconvenience of taking out several people. Sirus, however, at a good twenty some feet, had no problems with showing himself. He was not ashamed of his nature. His head broke the surface, silver scales gleaming. He watched Sava with milky silver eyes for her reaction.
Nightwind - April 24, 2008 03:34 PM (GMT)
She stared into the waters, seeing something grow, and it seem to shine from the light the seeped through trees and onto the waters surface and under. A slight smirk came over her face as she believed she knew what was going on. She herself considered turning into a dragon, but she stayed where she was, and picked up a small, smooth rock, and inspected it, like it was something important, then she threw it, and watched it hit the waters and fall.
The large silver dragon swam upwards as she saw, and broke the surface. she looked up at the silver dragon, and noticed he was much larger then her dragon form, and of course, huge as she was still in her human form. Her eyes watched him, then she stood up.
"You must know what I am now, then, otherwise, I doubt you would have shown your true self, though, I could be wrong." She had said the last part a bit quieter then the rest, but her voice held a calm demeanor. She rested her hands on her hips, as she looked the other dragon over. She had met many dragons in her time, but not many, she avoided most, since they all seemed stuck up and most liked to pick on the little ones. Though, most who crossed Sava learned to never do so again. She could be quite cruel when it came to others to treat her like the runt of the bunch, just like she had in her draconic family, and look where that got her siblings?
She took a few steps back away from the waters edge, then let herself change. It took only a couple minutes to change, and when it was done, a black and green dragon stood. She dug her claws into the ground, tearing up a few roots. Her piercing eyes never leaving the silvers.
Sirus - April 27, 2008 08:33 PM (GMT)
Sirus relaxed a bit as she changed. He had been correct. The silver strode from the lake and made a circle around Sava, looking her over. "Curious. A mix. Green and black, eh? explains a couple things. But you seem to have a more pleasant attitude than your heritage should indicate. In any case, nice to meet you, Savarkael." He made a light bow, bending his arms a bit. Much of his relief was based upon the fact that he was several feet taller than she, but he knew from experience that size was not to decide how much you respect another.
He was truly pleased to meet her, but wondered if she would allow another dragon to be so close to her home. If she wanted him gone, she would say something. And he would gladly comply. This one was quite respectable it seemed. He would like to get to know her better, for a better sense of understanding and less chance of a fight. He stretched his wings and looked at her eyes once more.
"So how is it that you came to end up here, Sava?" He asked curiously.
Nightwind - May 5, 2008 01:57 AM (GMT)
She glared at him as he circle her. She didn't like it when others did that, it annoyed her, especially when they could try to attack her from behind. Her muscles seemed to tense up, as the silver walked around and the to her front again, and she relaxed herself slightly. She then snorted at what he had said. Sure ,she was nice, and made friends easily with the lower races, but that didn't mean she was still a hot-headed stubborn jerk who often liked to see others in pain sometime. If people knew her past, they would most likely think her like her kind, for killing all her siblings when she was younger, but that had been a long time ago, and she changed slightly from back then, it had helped since she had been trapped as a human for ten years, and being around the elves and humans at the academy with Fios also helped a lot.
"So how is it that you came to end up here, Sava?"
She cocked her head slightly towards him ever so slightly. "What do you mean? How I came to Imythess, or how I came to the Memphian Falls to take as my home? Either way, its the same answer. I like to explore and wander the lands over and over again if I want to just see the sights the land has to offer." She said, as she dug her claws into the dirt and grass further.

[Is this an open roleplay? Or would I be intruding? *grins and looks at them*]
