Tock was quite releived to finally find the temple of Earth. He had travelled through norwood forest to get to the temple. The forest, while beautiful, had not given Tock many good memories to be fond of. Sure it had not been so horrible to him as those vile lightless woods of Balefire, but he had certainly had his fair share of bad days in the Norwood forest. For starters it was easy to get lost in, particularly when Tock got lost easily enough on his own. It was also filled with a myrad of creatures who thought he would make tasey treat, but then again that was a problem Tock found everywhere. He did find Bandits intent on capturing him for their own profit signularly within this forest, though.
Valor had joined Tock which helped make the journey quicker and far more comfortable. Tock had his own cursed wings, but he felt more at ease when he was riding on Valor. The strange dog's elegent white wings moved gracefully through the air. Much of the the trip had been spent over the forest which made getting lost not a problem, all they had to do was keep heading in the same direction, and it also made the journey itself much more comfortable without having to worry about scarry things jumping out and trying to eat him.
Valor glided through the temple's door way and landed lightly upon the floor of the main hall. Tock hoped that the goddess didn't mind that he had brought Valor in with him. Tock wasn't so frieghtened of meeting the goddess, Faust had assured Rith that she was a freind and had very good realations with another of his chosen of whom Tock was also to meet today. Tock dismounted and Valor tailed close behind Tock as the moogle looked around the beautiful main hall. The trip had certainly been worth it for the veiw alone.
It was about mid-day, and the humidity was a bit higher than Enelya deemed comfortable. She had on thin trousers that were a deep brown, along with a dark green tunic with black suspenders. She’d been working hard within the temple, tending to her gardens, assisting ambitious druids, and little tasks that she just enjoyed doing. Her blue hair was thrown into a messy bun, and her face was a bit flushed, dark magenta from the humidity. As she was bustling through the Main Hall with a new plant in her hands, the roots dripping with water, waiting to be replanted, a huge flying dog entered the Temple.
Enelya stopped, taking a step back as the dark water fell onto her bare feet. She smiled, greeting the animal, as she saw a strange little creature jump down from its back. The goddess approached the little creature and smiled. “Hello! I’m Enelya, the Goddess here, I’ll be with you one moment, just let me replant this little Hornbeam, okay?” Nodding, Enelya waved over a young druid to tend to the new arriver, assisting with anything he might have needed from his long travels.
In the meantime, Enelya rushed into the Garden Room, spotting the perfect place for the young Hornbeam. She took a small shovel with her hand, and dug a decently deep hole, placing the small sapling into the hole, covering it quickly, and being sure to water it as well. She rubbed her soiled hands on her trousers and ran out into the Main Hall to greet her visitor. She wiped the remaining bits of dirt from her hands on the dark green tunic, and held it out for the creature to grab. “Sorry about that, it’s a pleasure meeting you. Those little Hornbeams grow faster than any other little sapling around here!” Then, realizing that she was hardly dressed like a goddess, Enelya blushed slightly.
Out in the woods near the temple, Rothardan was training once again. He had to keep up his strength and his physique and he did this by performing katas with his blade, running laps, press ups, pull ups, more katas. At the end of it all, he would always drop his blade to the ground and lean against a tree to catch his breath, sipping some of the orange juice that had made from fresh oranges. Then Alataiel would come forth and fetch Rothardan so he could return home and see Enelya.
Today was no different.
Rothardan was riding on his horse back to the temple, his home, his sanctuary, and smiled as he saw the familiar sights. Dismounting his horse, Rothardan walked down towards the temple and saw that Enelya had a visitor. Rothardan had heard of the visitor but had never met him before, he knew who he was as the visitor was one of Gregory's chosen. As was Rothardan.
Enelya was there of course, covered in soil from planting plants. But Roth didn't care, instead he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her midwaist, planting a kiss up on her cheek.
