Bastian - March 9, 2008 12:18 AM (GMT)
The warlock had prepared this in months he only needed an apprentice to see the splendor of his researches. Visiting and knowing about to other worlds was always been his passion he had passed so many times to make potions, working knew spells and gathering the magical objects needed for this event.
He had this gigantic mirror who was reflecting everyting and nothing, cursed by who knows who. The old mage was happy about that gain because soon a time/world gate would open to him. Though, he would have to capture one of his inhabitants.
He looked at Alice with his purples eyes. "Get ready, we only have one chance at this." Taking a spoon from his chauldron, who was making boil a seemed to be grass-liquid and let it slide on the sides of the mirror. The warlock raised his wands. "Haren Veaf Or, taslocayh ir!" On those words the liquid shined and started to spin around the outline of the glass material. "Bofeur kisam aerom!" The liquid kept spinning but was getting smaller as it was going towards the midlle. "Gopert dyxiom, akra duz!"
With a Bang the liquid spread all over the glasses and shined. When the light faded away they, could see another world througth it. Towers made of metal, iron bird, and a lot of strange things. "Incredible don't you think alice?" His voice was full of amazment. After all those years, he could finally see it. Another world.
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 12:26 AM (GMT)
Alice helped her master with the things he asked her to, not that she liked the old fool, but then she did not have anything better to do and he did help her improve her skills in the art of magic.
"Get ready, we only have one chance at this."
Alice nodded to this. "Of course master" she said. "everything is as you wanted it to be."
the elven lady watched him as he was working and did his spell, she looked at the mirror when the gate opened. This was starting to be intresting.
"Incredible don't you think alice?"
"Oh yes master" she said, and it was no lie, she had never seen anything like this, the old man did know what he was doing that was sure. She placed the herbs she had been holding on a table, then she walked to her masters side, looking at the mirror in front of them. "It is fantastic, the gate to anather world next to our own.....nothing like this have happened for many generations."
Bastian - March 9, 2008 12:44 AM (GMT)
It is fantastic, the gate to anather world next to our own.....nothing like this have happened for many generations.
The mage stroked his beard. "It never happened dear. What we read about this was only pure theory. Though close enough but it was missing something....my touch!" He laughed. The master mage was pretty proud of him. Everything that he had planned happened. It was simple relativity he used to say.
Kannon, so was his name, took the heard and ripped the leaves on a rope. With a simple touch of his staff it started to shine. He pointed the mirror and the roped entered the mirror as it was water. "We should have a guest soon enough, by the looks of things no one seems human." They had been seeing over a town, they could not really see the people. "Aren't you excited to see who is the lucky one, Alice?"
A few minutes later, a body tied tightly fall on the floor. It was a young man. "What?!?" exclaimed the mage in surprised. "How could tht be? Perhaps the theory of..." He mumbled to himself thinking about the results it should have been with the view they had.
Kannon looked upon his guest. The rope had put asleep the young man. The warlock made him drink a potion to make him wake up. The outworlder had dark brown hair was a slim shaped and he had a good chin. He had to type of face to easily seems dead serious.
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 12:57 AM (GMT)
"It never happened dear. What we read about this was only pure theory. Though close enough but it was missing something....my touch!"
Alice smiled when the man said this, he truly was arrogant this man. "Of course sir" she said to him."My this talk makes us sick, how long do we have to work with this old fool?" the voice said in her head. "Until we have what we want" Alice said back in her head. The voice muttred something but it did not say anything else.
"We should have a guest soon enough, by the looks of things no one seems human." They had been seeing over a town, they could not really see the people. "Aren't you excited to see who is the lucky one, Alice?"
"Of course I am, I truly wounder what creatures is living in that strange world" She said. Then she waited for something to happen, and it did......a human-looking creature arrived from the portal. Alice raised an eyebrow. That was a suprise, she calmly looked at the strange one, but it was nothing speciall about him what she could see,.....well he was wearing odd clothes.
Bastian - March 9, 2008 02:58 PM (GMT)
The young man choked as he woke up from drinking the potion. Pushing the old man away. He was confused, did not know where he was and he woke up next to this creepy old man? He turned around and started to run but bumped in a young woman. "Ouch!" He said as he fell on the rocky ground.
The mage surprised by such an outburst of life from within his guest could not do much at the beginning. "Please young sir, calm down we don't want any harm... " The brown haired human looked around. That was so much far from his world. Perhaps it was some kind of prank. No...It was too real, worst then a nightmare. "No harm? Why am i here anyway? You better tell me or i'm gonna tell the cops."
"The cops? Mmmh, i see it must be something like city guards. Interesting." The young man stroke his snow white beard. He will get information a way or another. "Admire this, alicia it's a spell made of my own invention." Hetook the staff and placed it on Bastian's forehead and it started to shine. "Wait! Wha-Wha-?"
A burst of lightning entered the young man's forehead. After a few seconds the lightning stopped and was unleashed again exiting by the mouth of the outworlder. The lightning entered in a blank book. The mage went to his desk, and looked at the book. "I copied his memories of his life in this. It provoked a mental drain on the person." Bastian felt no his back since he lost consciousness. "Oh and Alice, dear, please erase his memories."
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 03:11 PM (GMT)
Alice watched the young man when he woke up from his sleep. She tilted her head a little to the side.
"No harm? Why am i here anyway? You better tell me or i'm gonna tell the cops."
"The cops? Mmmh, i see it must be something like city guards. Interesting."
Cops? She had never heard of it before, but by the sound she would guess that it was some kind of guard, since the man was talking like he did. "Your most likely right master" she said, she raised an eyebrow when the old fool placed his staff on the stranger forehead and used his spell. She followed the mage with her eyes as he walked to the book.
"I copied his memories of his life in this. It provoked a mental drain on the person." Bastian felt no his back since he lost consciousness. "Oh and Alice, dear, please erase his memories."
Alice nodded. "As you wish master, I will do it right away" she said, then she calmly picked up her magic wand from inside a pocket, she made some signs and marks with it in the air, but she did not say anything, then she quickly moved the wand up, then down pointing at the alien. A bright light radiated from the wand into the mans body. Alice did not move for a while, since the spell she was using was a hard one and even harder since she was going to erase so much.
The light faded away and Alice lowered her staff. "It has been done master, he will have no memories about what just happened, or where he came from, everything is gone now." she said with a sweet voice and placed the wand inside itīs pocket again.
Bastian - March 9, 2008 03:32 PM (GMT)
Your most likely right master
"I know im right, Alice dear." He said glared at the elf from above his glasses. His purples eyes straigth in hers. "Do not forget who i am. If you want to raise ranks in the sorcery society, you better do as i say and do not said pointless remarks."
As for the outworlder, he was completly exhausted from the warlock's spell. In his eyes was the pictures of his life and memories destroyed and erased. Only his natural personnality was in him. How to talk and how to move. And his mathematical logics. But no memories now.
He lowered his head and started to read with hunger the memories. "Sems likely that his name is Bastian Gauds. Strange name isn't it?" He kept reading with great interest. "You can go rest Alice, we'll continue our research tomorrow." He took his book and ask a warrior in armor to place the outworlder on the corner in the bed.
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 03:43 PM (GMT)
"I know im right, Alice dear." He said glared at the elf from above his glasses. His purples eyes straigth in hers. "Do not forget who i am. If you want to raise ranks in the sorcery society, you better do as i say and do not said pointless remarks."
"Forgive me master, I did not mean to offend you or anything." She said and bowed her head slightly. "Of course your right master, as always."
That man was to much, he was so stupid and arrogant, yes he was stronger then her at the moment, but not for long, oh yes not for long. She would show him one thing or another when the time was right.
"Seems likely that his name is Bastian Gauds. Strange name isn't it?" He kept reading with great interest. "You can go rest Alice, we'll continue our research tomorrow."
Alice nodded. "I have never head a name like it before in my life, but then he is from another world She watched the man on the floor for a moment, then she walked to the door out from the room, she turned and looked at her master. "God night master, just make sure you donīt stay up to long now, or you will be in a bad mood tomorrow. she smiled, then she left the room and walked to her own chamber, the room she had was not big and there was not much in it, a bed and a table with some random magic stuff, books and other things. The young lady sat down on the bed and took a deep breath, she closed her eyes for a moment, then she opened them again. This had been a hard day.
Bastian - March 9, 2008 04:41 PM (GMT)
((OoC: Sorry for the double post, my computer got a problem.Could you delete the post before this one.))
Kannon wished his apprentice good night and went to his room. At the couch near the fireplace, kept studying the memirories of the outworlder. This was getting so much interesting. A new world. As soon as he knew how it works he will travel there, with his magical abilties he would get in the highest spheres of that world. A grinned appeared on his face.
In the room, the young amnesic woke up. It was all dark in the room, small lanturn were lit but that was about it. Where was he? He kept looking around and could not see any detail that could help him remind where it was or why he was there. Anxious, he stood up and saw a door well hidden in the darkness and shadows of the library.
He try to opened it as he pulled the knob. It did not move, so he pushed. No more results. He guessed that he had nothing to do but look at the books of this place. Climbing on a chair he get one of the lanturn and he started to look at the various book there was. It seems it was all about magic.
"Well, why not learn some, it can't be that bad." He then find a book entitled 'Magical aid for apprentice'. He sighed, the book was not far from the top shelf. He went to the desk and took the chair, then he climbed to get the book, he could stroke it with the top of his fingers. "So....Close! Gotcha!" As he grabbed the book, he got unbalanced on the chair and he fell to the ground making an heavy sound, as the shelf fall on the other side making a much more heavy sound.
"Crap!" He listened to see if anyone was coming, but it did not seems that way. In his room the high mage, did not care he was too absorbed by his reading. He was not even at one twentieth of the book. sure a life could be long but it was a life fom another world, so he stayed in his room and kept reading.
The young man, brougth the chair at the desk with pain. He had hurted his right leg in the fall. He took another lanturn as he took it, he saw a wand, it seems fit for any spellcaster. As he was now reading how to heal he played with the wand and pointed at his leg. "Heal!" A falsh of blue light appeared appeared and he had a warm feelin in his leg. He grinned. It was so easy, then he read the book title again. For apprentice...
If he could keep studying, perhaps it could make the door explose. But it would not be this book who will help. The outworlder took his lanturn and went back in the library.
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 04:46 PM (GMT)
Alice heard the sound when Bastian feel, she raised an eyebrow. Could it still be here master? No she had heard him go to his room not long ago. She calmly stood up from her bed and walked to the door, she opened it and walked out into the corridor, she picked up a candle from a small table and began to walk towards the library, since it was there she would hear the sound. She stopped outside of the door and listened, she placed one hand on her wand and was ready if something would attack, she could guess that it was the stranger from the other world that was moving in there.
She picked up her own key, but was still ready to drop it and take the wand, the one she had to use if her master wanted her to do something early, before he could open himself. She calmly placed it inside of the lock and turned the key around.
She took a deep breath, then she opened the door.
Bastian - March 9, 2008 05:32 PM (GMT)
As the door flung open, the young man froze. There was someone. He thanked whatever was above him and was about to run, but if it was someone who wanted to harm him? He looked around and took a book randomly.
He slowly went to the door to face a woman elf, he had pointed at her with his wand. She looked as nervous as he was was, he lowered the wand. "Who-who are you? Wait, Who am i? What am i doing here?" If atleast he could remember his name.
Kannon heard the voices, it was the middle of the night. How could there be anyone still awake. It better not be Alice trying to get the young man away. He was not done with him. He stood from the couch and took his candle. He went in the hall way and saw the library open and Alice stooding in front of it.
He slowly get behind her and silently. The warlock was surprised to see him awake, and even more to see him with a wand and a spellbook in his hands. The old man was looking tired and he knew it, so he used of his advantage.
"My god, Bastian! You are finally awake!" The eyes of Bastian widened. "That's my-name?" The old man continued. "You don't remember a thing? Well, this demon was about to kill you after," He faked to take away tears and keep his sleeve in his face. "He killed your parents."
This news strucked the young man as lightning. "My parents? Killed? By a Demon?" The warlock lowered his arm. "And it is my duty as your grand-father to watch over you. And your cousin Alice, was so nice and liked you so much that she decided tp help me." Bastian stared at the elf. "Cousin Alice?"
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 06:02 PM (GMT)
Alice did not first know what to say, she was very suprised to see that this stranger was awake, and even more that he was holding a wand and a book with magic.
"My god, Bastian! You are finally awake!" The eyes of Bastian widened. "That's my-name?" The old man continued. "You don't remember a thing? Well, this demon was about to kill you after," He faked to take away tears and keep his sleeve in his face. "He killed your parents."

Alice raised an eyebrow, this was a suprise from her master to say something like that. Well it was not, since he would be the nly one that would say something that stupid, but she was a good acter and looked sad. "I will kill that man one day" the voice said in her head.
She tilted her head a little to the side when Bastian said her name. "It was a hard day for us all" she said. "We did not think you where going to wake this quickly, gramps tried all kinds of spells. Looks like one of them worked."
Bastian - March 9, 2008 07:21 PM (GMT)
Bastian stared at both of them. Was that the truth, there was something akward in the air. Kannon, kept smiling gently at him. The outworlder would have no choice but to trust them so far. Until he know the truth of his blanked past. "I'm sorry to have make you two worry for me, but as long as i'm alive..." He looked at them, "I'm sorry, to have waked you up. I just don't feel like sleeping. Go to bed, i'll study some of gramps stuff."
"Ah, like the old days/ You were studying and praticing so much, but without results. Please do not overexcercise yourself."The warlock was surprise how could he be studying magic, when in his world he had none? Well, he could not make a good wizard that's for sure. "Fine, Alice dear, let your cousin and go to bed, we have a long day ahead of us." He did not care, if she had played the game she could amuse herself to twist his past as will. When he left the library and looked at two of his guards. "Keep an eye on them, i don't want the boy to flee, and not my apprentice."
He went back in his room, this time to sleep. What a misterious night. AS for the young man, he smiled nervously at the elf. "I...It's weird but...I don't feel like beeing home here. Is that normal?"
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 07:31 PM (GMT)
"I'm sorry to have make you two worry for me, but as long as i'm alive..." He looked at them, "I'm sorry, to have waked you up. I just don't feel like sleeping. Go to bed, i'll study some of gramps stuff.
Alice smiled. "No problem dear" she said. "Your safe, and thatīs whatīs important Bastian, and donīt worry that you woke me up, I was not sleeping." She could use this, since she knew that the spell she made would break sooner or later it would be good to make the man trust her with no help of magic. "Sine you donīt feel like sleeping then let me make you a cup hot chocolate, I think you could use that, makes it easier to work with magic, well that is what my mother said to me.......donīt know if she was right about it, but it works for me." She smiled a sweet smile at Bastian when she talked.
"I...It's weird but...I don't feel like beeing home here. Is that normal?"
Alice thought for a moment. "I know how you feel Bastian" she said. "Itīs the same for me, we all have to find our own ways in the world, to find a place where we is to be, a place to call home. None of us will find it here, thatīs for sure." she said the last part when she was sure that her master did not hear them.
Bastian - March 9, 2008 07:59 PM (GMT)
Itīs the same for me, we all have to find our own ways in the world, to find a place where we is to be, a place to call home. None of us will find it here, thatīs for sure.
Bastian stared at her. "What? What do you mean? Aren't you find with Grampa...Wait a sec...Did he did something wrong to you?" Was she the grand-daugther of Kannon too? how could she think of it like. Unless, he was not really his grand-father. And she was not his cousin and that all this was a ploy? He would have to play the game for now.
Kannon in his room could not sleep much. He was uneasy to know that his apprentice was in the room with his 'grandson'. She could turn him in. He better have a close eye on them. He made himselves invisible and walked towards the library. He putted asleep his two guards with another spell, slowly he entered in looking at the elf and the young man.
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 08:07 PM (GMT)
"What? What do you mean? Aren't you find with Grampa...Wait a sec...Did he did something wrong to you?"
Alice giggled. "No, no, you missunderstod me Bastian" she said, still with a sweet voice. "Itīs very useful for me to be here, since I want to improve my magic, but I canīt be here all my life, and then again gramps is not young anymore, yes he is a powerful magican, but his body is not what it once was. But I will not be here all day, I have a life to live outside these walls to" she sighed and shook her head. "But never mind that, have you found anything intresting to read?" she walked to Bastians side and looked down at the book he was reading.
Bastian - March 9, 2008 08:43 PM (GMT)
No, no, you missunderstod me Bastian.
Kannon was hanging on the next words that Alice say. She would seal her destiny on those words. He remembered when the elf was on his door step asking if he could teach her magic. He had asked if she was begging, she she did not answer at first but then again he asked with a smile visible on his face. That's what he wanted. She had finally said yes. She was a good apprentice, better then he had expected.
Itīs very useful for me to be here, since I want to improve my magic, but I canīt be here all my life, and then again gramps is not young anymore, yes he is a powerful magican, but his body is not what it once was. But I will not be here all day, I have a life to live outside these walls to.
Bastian nodded at her saying. So he was really his grandfather. He lowered his head and started to read. It was abit complicated but it would still be useful. The warlock, Smiled, he understands what she was saying. One day or another, he would die. feeling relaxed bu those words he slowly went back in his rooms, putting a awakening spell on his guards.
But never mind that, have you found anything intresting to read?
He nodded still his nose in the book. "Oh, yeah. A spell book. Difficult to learn the spells but i should be fine. I learned how to heal myslelf already!" He stared at his elven cousin. "Or did i already knew it?" It seems logical, casting as easily a spell as that would mean he knew it.
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 08:52 PM (GMT)
"Oh, yeah. A spell book. Difficult to learn the spells but i should be fine. I learned how to heal myslelf already!" He stared at his elven cousin. "Or did i already knew it?"
Alice giggled. "Why that is very good" she said. "I can tell you that I canīt use that magic. Iīm so happy for you, and donīt listen to gramps, you will learn magic just fine."
She made a pause and tilted her head to the other side, from left to right. "Well I donīt know anything about that, have never seen you do magic before. Your the only one that could know that for sure"
Bastian - March 9, 2008 09:12 PM (GMT)
Why that is very good!
He smiled at the elf woman. "Well, thanks. But i'm kinda scare i screw my spell off. I'm only starting..." He shook his head. Nah, he should be fine, if gramps was really a great mage he should have his blood aswell making him a great magician too.
I can tell you that I canīt use that magic. Iīm so happy for you, and donīt listen to gramps, you will learn magic just fine.
He stared at Alice "Why can't you used it? It's one of the most easiest spell. I'm sure you know more if you help gramps all the time. Is it because of your ears?" He did not know about the races. Kannon was human and so was Bastian. He thougth that it was kind of sickness or transformation she had to received when she was younger.
He then return the nose to his book. The warlock had been doubting him from beeing a magic user? "Do you know why he said that? Did i did something wrong in magic when i was younger?" The young man looked at the elven lady. And if she was family why, did not she knows about his attempt to magic when he was younger?
Then a question popped in his mind: Why was he relying so much on the past? He could become much more without having sad memories anymore. Strangely, he was not sad at the thougth of losing his parents. He did not remember them.
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 09:19 PM (GMT)
"Well, thanks. But i'm kinda scare i screw my spell off. I'm only starting
"You should not let failure scare you Bastian" Alice said and placed one hand on his shoulder. "It would not be fun if you did not fail a little now and then" she giggled lowly and then she sat down in a chair on the other side of the table.
"Why can't you used it? It's one of the most easiest spell. I'm sure you know more if you help gramps all the time. Is it because of your ears?
Alice thought for a moment. "Well I donīt know, I have never been very intrested in that kind of magic" she said. "I think there are other spells more of my kind, thatīs why. All magicans has there own speciall magic."
"Do you know why he said that? Did i did something wrong in magic when i was younger?"
Alice shook her head. "To be honest I donīt know anything about why he said that. But it has to be something or he would not say it, but you should not listen to him, magic is dangerous and he might want to protect you. Who knows"
Bastian - March 9, 2008 09:50 PM (GMT)
"You should not let failure scare you Bastian. t would not be fun if you did not fail a little now and then.
As Alice placed her hand on his shoulder, the young man felt nervous and well at the same time. He closed his eyes and nodded. "I guess that you are right." He kept looking at a spell.
I think there are other spells more of my kind, thatīs why. All magicans has there own speciall magic.
He nodded, the spell he saw was quite attractive. he started to understands his functions. Beholding the power to control fire. In this place it will be useful, it is so dark. And it could warm him when he felt cold, and attack a foe.
To be honest I donīt know anything about why he said that. But it has to be something or he would not say it, but you should not listen to him, magic is dangerous and he might want to protect you. Who knows.
Certainly not the young outworlder. "But if i learn my magic, gramps won't have to protect me, and neither you. But i would not mind." He said as he placed his head on her hand. He then stood up looked at the book one more time and prepared himself. This should be interesting.
DornKoon - March 9, 2008 10:04 PM (GMT)
Alice watched Bastian as he read, this creature was funny, no not creature, this human. He had to be some kind of human.
"But if i learn my magic, gramps won't have to protect me, and neither you. But i would not mind."
Alice laughed. "Well I will not be around to protect you all your life, then I would not be able to live my own." she said. She calmly picked up a book from the table and opened it. "I know you will be good at magic, all people can be good at it if they try and want to. It is more hard for some of them and less for others, but all can learn."
Bastian - March 9, 2008 10:39 PM (GMT)
Well I will not be around to protect you all your life, then I would not be able to live my own.
Bastian grinned. "Don't worry, i won't be a burden soon enough. He closed his eyes raised his wand. This was the moment of truth, if something goes wrong it could make a lot of damage to himself, if it wors it would get on the brick wall and instinguished as soon as it touch it.
know you will be good at magic, all people can be good at it if they try and want to. It is more hard for some of them and less for others, but all can learn.
He winked at Alice. "We are about to find out!" He closed his eyes once more, repeated the spell in his head, then he would whisper it and then said it with a firm voice. It was simple but calling the mana aound him was tough enough. " Fireball! " The wand shined an orangish color and suddenly start to shake in his hand.
The wand exploded throwing the young man on the wall. "Argh! Dammit!" He looked at his hand and it was quite burned. He brougth his other hand on it and he cast. "Heal!" It was not perfect, the only things that remain was a red all over his hand.
With the sound, Kannon woke up. What was happening? He ran in the hallway followed by some guards and stopped. In the library. What was goig on? They all entered. The warlock looked at his grandchildren. "What are you two doing?" He looked at Bastian in pain on the other side of the place. "Alice, for your sake i hope you didn't..."
DornKoon - March 10, 2008 05:08 PM (GMT)
Don't worry, i won't be a burden soon enough.
"One can only hope, this stupid act is killing us." the voice said in the head of Alice. "Yes, but we have to do it, since we donīt want the old fool to find out anything about us" Alice said back in her head. "We worked hard to find someone that could train us, we canīt waste this now."
"We are about to find out!"
Alice watched him carefully. "Now that was intresting, we can see the magic energy that is focusing into the wand, primitive but it works with some training" The voice said in the elvens womans mind. Alice did not say anything, since she did not know what to say. It was a great suprise.
"What are you two doing?" He looked at Bastian in pain on the other side of the place. "Alice, for your sake i hope you didn't..."
Alice turned around and looked at Kannon when he arrived to the room, she raised an eyebrow. "If you think I did this then your wrong" she said calmly and looked back at Bastian. "Bastian made some magic, and he did very well to. He can heal pretty good, but his fireball was a little....explosive" she giggled lowly and looked at her master again.
Bastian - March 10, 2008 08:43 PM (GMT)
Bastian made some magic, and he did very well to. He can heal pretty good, but his fireball was a little....explosive
Kannon glared at Alice."Why didn't you stop him? He can't do any magic! He's..." He stopped. The warlock did not think about the the fact that his 'grandson' might know the truth he had to find out something to complete his sentence. "...Well, you know. He almost killed himself when he was younger."
Bastian Glared back at the old man. "I can! thanks for your trust Granpa! Just look and i'll show you." He pointed his palm open towards the warlock. "Stop! it's too dangerous for you!" "Fireball!" The old man was not prepared at all. This time the fireball had been successfully cast. The projectile striked the old man, and threw him in the wall. He let a howling of pain.
This time, Kannon had been hurted to his pride. It did not fit his expectation. So this creature was really human. It was only their civilisatin who had forgot about magic. He sighed in pain and stood up, pointing at the young spellcaster. "Get him, this time no pity!"
Bastian froze. "No pity? This Time? "So all of this...Was a lie? You are not my grandfather?" He had been surprised that the so great warlock had not been able to protect himself from such a basic spell and now he had lost his staff at the foot of Alice. Kannon glared at Bastian "You think that someone like you would be of my blood? Stop making me laugh!"
This time there was no turning back.As soon as the first guard was about to strike him down a hand was placed on his chest, the young man smiled. "Good bye! Fireball!" The warrior was sent flying and landed on the desk. The two others kept dashing towards the outworlder but followed their friend in the air but landed next to their employer.
Crawling the old man was trying to get at his staff. "Why must i do everything myself?" He reached for the staff and realized that it was at his apprentice foot. "Alice dear kill him, and i'll treat you better. Or atleast give my staff back." It was the source of his power he casted better with that item. Bastian was ready to pick up a fight, but he had no interest in fighting Alice. We a fireball in each hand he waited to see what will happened.
He still could not believe, all of he was told had been lies. What about his past? Who was he? Where was he came from? So much question at the same time but he had to focus on his life ahead, now endangered.

Alice looked at him for a moment, then she laughed. "No, I have no more use for you, I never like your ide to lie for Bastian, your an old fool Kannon, you where that right from the begining. To blind to see anything, to proud to understand anything. There is much more in this young man then you think, but you will not live to see it" she calmly kicked the staff away from the old man, then she looked at Bastian. Then she moved quickly, she raised her hand and fired of a magic missile right into the face of the warlock, she used much of her magic energy to create this one destructive blast, she had waited for a long time to do this.. Kannons body dissappeared in a flash of light and only a pile of dust was left. Alice took a deep breath, then she again looked at Bastian. "Thank you Bastian. You have helped me more then you could ever thing, Yes I might not be your cousin, but I never wanted to harm you, I could not go agains Kannon because he was to strong. I had to make him destoy himself."
((Well wrong account....but I will take care of that later then. :P))

"No, I have no more use for you, I never like your ide to lie for Bastian, your an old fool Kannon, you where that right from the begining. To blind to see anything, to proud to understand anything. There is much more in this young man then you think, but you will not live to see it
Bastian was surprised by some coldness. As she got rid of the old man, the young sorcerer made disappeared his fireballs. It was too strange. What in the world was going on? He really had not idea. He walked to the location where the corpses should have been and the he turned at the elve.
hank you Bastian. You have helped me more then you could ever thing, Yes I might not be your cousin, but I never wanted to harm you, I could not go agains Kannon because he was to strong. I had to make him destoy himself.
He could not believe his ears. He had potential? Bastian had potential? Why? He needed answers now and Alice was the only one that could give them. the young man lowered his head and clinched his fists. "Tell me, please what am i? Why am i here? Where do i come from?" He was gettiong so confused he started to have a headache.

COLOR=purple]"How nice, this was good, the old fool is dead" The voice said in her head. "We had more use of this alien then what we ever could think. But we still could use him, who knows."
Alice walked and picked up the staff that had been Kannons, she looked at it for a moment, then she looked at Bastian.
"Tell me, please what am i? Why am i here? Where do i come from?"
Alice took a deep breath. "I donīt know much about who you are" she said. "But your human, I understand that now, Kannon did not and he did not think you could use magic since he thought you where not human, but something else." she closed her eyes for a moment. "He had been working on some kind of experiment for ages when I came to him, he needed my help and I thought it could be interesting, but I never knew he would do something like this.." she made a pause to think of how she would tell it. "Okey, he was working on a way to enter other realms, some kind of portal thing. He made it.....and summoned you from it." she opened her eyes again and looked at Bastian. "There is not much I know about it, but it should be some clues in his many books."
Bastian - March 11, 2008 10:26 PM (GMT)
I donīt know much about who you are. But your human, I understand that now, Kannon did not and he did not think you could use magic since he thought you where not human, but something else
An uncomfortable chill shiver passed down his spine. How could that be? Bastian now human? Not human?!? But he can use magic and seems human like everyone else. So, what was going on? He stared at the elve and keep listening to her explanation.
He had been working on some kind of experiment for ages when I came to him, he needed my help and I thought it could be interesting, but I never knew he would do something like this.Okey, he was working on a way to enter other realms, some kind of portal thing. He made it.....and summoned you from it.
The young outworlder looked at his hands like they were the ones of a stranger. An experiment? Coming from another world? He was looking like any human. The young magic apprentice was as more boring as an average human. What was this non-sense? It was too much...He clenched his fists.
There is not much I know about it, but it should be some clues in his many books.
Books? all his research were in books? No, someone will get their grubby little hands on it and make an other inocent suffer. It has to stop and now. Bastian suddenly turned around and threw two "Fireballs!" at all of the library. He did not cared about the place burning down, it was it's goal for now. Everything was balzing arounds and some of the servants were running outside the mansion.
Bastian was now fueled by hatred and anger. All of this research had been under selfish reasons, why should he keep all of his madness inside. Revenge was so sweet, and unleashing so much power made the young human feel good.
DornKoon - March 12, 2008 07:02 AM (GMT)
Alice watched Bastian and she noticed what he was going to do, quickly she grabbed some of the books in a close shelf before he fired of his magic, she watched the burning fire as it spread around the books, burning them to ash. "Okey, I have to say that was random" she said and raised an eyebrow. "But then again this way none will ever find out about this, and there will be nothing to tell that Kannond did open a door to anather world. But you will never know where you came from, but then you will find out yourself in time." she shook her head, then she tilted her head a little to the side. "But I think we should move out from this place before we are toasted by the fire Bastian." there was no fear in her voice, it was just simply something that had to be said.
Bastian - March 12, 2008 09:27 PM (GMT)
Okey, I have to say that was random
This comment made Bastian slightly more frustrated. He cast faster by rage and anger. She would not understands, she could not understands. This place was a curse needing to be destroyed. Nothing else.
But then again this way none will ever find out about this, and there will be nothing to tell that Kannond did open a door to anather world. But you will never know where you came from, but then you will find out yourself in time.
The outworlder agreed with the half of her comment. No one could be able to pursue the warlock's goal. It's research all burned. Years of intense research and precious material gone to ashes. That was a great feeling of power passing througth his veins. "I no longer need my past! I'll live my life whatever happen, that's my new life."
But I think we should move out from this place before we are toasted by the fire Bastian.
The young human clamed down and realized his wrath. Impressive, indeed. But if they did not want to die, they had better leave this cursed place. Bastian grabbed his spellbook and slide on the ramp of the stairs. Inside the building there was a rain of ashes. Dashing towards the exterior of the mansion, the young sorcerer turned around to look at the blazing hell he made in this place.
He smiled an suddenly an explosion appeared in the laboratory room. He got nervous for a second. Where was the alf? Was she alright? What was she doing? He was still nervous about the only one who seem to care a bit bout him...

"I no longer need my past! I'll live my life whatever happen, that's my new life."
The voice inside the head of Alice laughed when Bastian said this, but of course Bastian could not hear it. "My this boy is just like us, we to left our past behind us a long time ago"īit said. Alice looked at him, yes it was true, they where very much alike.
She quickly followed him out from the burning house and was right behind him when the lad exploded.
She sighed and looked back at the burning mansion. "That was close, If we had been in that room now....well it is better not to think about it" she smiled and looked at Bastian again.
Bastian - March 12, 2008 11:10 PM (GMT)
Seems that the young man had been looking carefukky as he went outside. Alice was always behind him. She had been silent, surely a treat amongs elves. He smiled back at her, without reason.
That was close, If we had been in that room now....well it is better not to think about it.
The outworlder shrugged, they were outside safe and sound. He then look around, people were gathering. "We should leave this place. It's a crowd that i need the less." He swiftly headed for the town. It was dark but everyone was outside like it was daytime. Where they in a vampire city or what?
"Alice, what do you know about this place? Can you telll?" She was her only source of information for now. He would have to rely on the elve's knowledge.
DornKoon - March 13, 2008 06:38 AM (GMT)
"We should leave this place. It's a crowd that i need the less."
Alice looked around at the people that was gathering, and it was not normal people like in Taras, it was creatures of darkness and other users of dark magic. "I agree with you" she said, then she quickly followed him away from the mansion.
"Alice, what do you know about this place? Can you telll?"
"Well I know that this is a safe place for all kinds of evil and dark creatures in this land" she said. "Necromancers and Warlocks, Demons and other fiends. Itīs called the city of lanterns. A nice name for such a dark place." she giggled lowly to herself. "There is not more to say, if you want to do magic that people would not like in the other cities then come here, or if your hunted by the guards in anather town, because none of them would ever dare come into this town. That is why Kannon live here, because none of the others would stop him."
Bastian - March 16, 2008 06:12 PM (GMT)
Bastian walked throught the growing crowd, as it when thicker and thicker. He was not expecting to get lost so easily. He kept listening to Alice's voice but the chatting of the people was covering her. He looked at where she could be but could not see quite well with the darkness and shadows wrapping this town.
He kept going around hoping to find a place to get out of this people filled place, pushing people aside and quickly passing through. He still was not expecting to see
Danger at Every corner.
DornKoon - March 17, 2008 04:53 PM (GMT)
Alice looked around for Bastian, but she did not see him anywhere. Where could he be? "Donīt care about where he is we are" the voice said out loud this time, but there was to many people around them so none noticed it. "We have him on our side and will meet him again sometime, we have other things to do"
Erin began to walk down the street, she did not look around much, she knew where she had to go, but it was going to take a while to get there.
