Title: More Jobs Needing Completion
Description: [Open!]
Fehade - March 7, 2008 04:06 AM (GMT)
Fehade slipped into the shadows of a alley, looking out into the street. It was midnight now, it was the safest time for Fehade to walk about in his true form. When in daylight, he would use his alter self spell, so no one could see his red tinted skin, and red eyes. He soon strolled out into the darkness when he saw a candlelight in a house go out. He walked towards that house, and soon made it to the front door, when there, he knocked on the small house, and his eyes brightened with annoyance as he waited for the elf Mara.
Then, the door flew open, and Mara stood a few feet away, wearing a black silk robe. Her black hair hung down her shoulders. Her gaze was dark, but seemed a little distracted. He walked into the house, and slammed the door shut. The room was dark, and since he couldn't see well in darkness, it was darker then normal in his vision. He held out a pouch, that was bulging. Mara took it quickly, and let her long robe sleeve fall over it. She turned away, and started to walk into a different room.
Fehade growled, and stepped forward, grabbing her arm then pinned her against the wall.
"Wheres my new spell you promised me, Mara?" He hissed coldly. He then felt a sharp pain against his side. He looked down, and a look of anger twisted on his face. Mara let go of the bone hilted dagger, that stuck part way in Fehade's side. He looked back at the elf, who merely looked at him coldly.
"Thats a warning, Fehade, to never touch me again." She said, and put two fingers against his chest and pushed him back. He let go of her, and stepped back, and pulled the dagger out, not even flinching at the sharp pain that ran through his body. He handed it back to her. She took it, and a thin smile came across her face. "You serve me well, Fehade. You always get the jobs done. Though, you kill too many people in the process, but, it only matters if its done." She said, her voice still cruel sounding.
"I'm only interesting in getting more power, Mara, and I am not being able to accomplish that with those errands you send me on. You owe me more spells. I will never be able to kill Hakri if he still thinks I'm weak." Fehade said, his anger blazing with anger.
Sighing, Mara walked over to a desk, and took hold of a scroll, and handed it to Fehade, who opened it and scanned it. A cruel smile played across his face, then he folded it again.
"Fire is deadly, and destructive. I'm sure you'll find uses for it." Mara said, smirking.
Fehade smiled in a evil way, then he turned on his heel, and walked out the way he came. He went down the streets, needing to get something else Mara needed. He didn't like running all these errands for Mara's spells and such, but he wanted more power, mainly to bring down his father, that has always been one of Fehade's goal, revenge. Hopefully, it would be soon, if Mara kept her word to keep giving Fehade more spells, then everything would go smoothly for him. But he trusted Mara, so he believed she would, after all, she did owe him for helping her escape, but then, he supposed he owed her also, since she had saved his life the day after he was banished.
He shook his head. All that was meaningless now, all he wanted was to kill his father, and his half-sister Zehavya, then he would be happy, and give the Divschatten his full attention. He walked down the dark streets, considering calling Evier, but he figure it'd be best to walk and not have a nightmare walking about town. He turned down in alley, hoping it would get him to where he was going faster, but he didn't know this place all to well, he hasn't been in Taras much, since he never had much luck here, first running into a paladin, and then a high elf, Kyrus, who Fehade also wanted dead. He walked on, wondering if he was going the right way.
Miralay - March 7, 2008 04:38 AM (GMT)
Slowly, Miralay crawled around the rooftops. The moonlight lightly reflected upon her beautyful pale skin, giving her an almost ghostly look. One quick glance at her and it was obvious she was starved and dehydrated. Slowly she followed this man, she did not know why, but her instincts urged her to follow him. Who was she? she didnt remember...What was she? she didnt know. And honestly she didnt care at the moment, her hunger was more important. She could smell the mans flesh...it smelled good, very good. She had been following him since he had left Mara's house.
The instincts urged her more, they wanted her to go down in front of the man.
And like a drone she listened to her basic instincts...those of survival.
She lightly jumped down the small house she was on, bruising her leg lightly on the landing. She slowly got neared the demon, not caring if she made noise or not.
She stared at him, with a hungry gaze...she was lost and did not know what to do...oh why was she so hungry?!
Erolam - March 7, 2008 02:34 PM (GMT)
Erolam stalked the streets of Taras, avoiding the watchful eyes of the guard. His deed was not a pleasant one, yet it had been carried out, with a minute mistake that could have put his mission at risk. He sighed audibly, staying in the shadows for cover. He walked calmly, blending into the shadows. A clanking sound was approaching his way. They would have trouble finding a dark-skinned tiefling at midnight, but that was their problem. He himself was accustomed to to the night, when he preferred to do his work.
Tonight he had raided a tomb for something supposedly stolen from his client, but the caretaker was out and about, seeing somebody there. Erolam, surprised the the man's showing up, struck him in the temple with his mace. He tossed the caretaker into the grave and buried it. He had escaped with the amulet, but had forgotten the shovel and the bloodhound. The damned dog was with the guards now, sniffing him out.
As the guards got closer, Erolam backtracked and took an alleyway. He watched from the shadows as the dog sat, confused. It decided upon his previous route, as the smell was stronger. He sighed and continued walking, listening joyously as the guards reprimanded the beast for finding the wrong place. He heard all the commotion from here.
...Damned dog, doesn't even know where it's supposed to go. Things useless... The voice trailed as the guard took the dog back.
Erolam let a smile play across his lips. He had escaped.
Fehade - March 8, 2008 05:52 PM (GMT)
The tiefling continued on, looking ahead, hoping this job he had to do would be easy, and fast, he was just supposed to steal something from another wizard that Mara wanted, and he was supposed to kill the wizard too, he didn't know why Mara wanted the wizard dead, but he could care less, he loved spilling blood, loved seeing it flow freely from a body, so he just wouldn't question Mara, she had her own thing to accomplish, and he had his, they never question that.
He heard a footstep behind him, and the crunching of the cobblestone ground. He stopped in his tracks, and turned quickly towards the person who was following him, and pulled out his katana Aparul in a swift movement. He held the weapon at his side, ready to use it. He looked over at the person, and saw that it was a woman, and beautiful at that. He looked her over, and then stared into her eyes, his red eyes glowing with annoyance. He saw the hunger in her eyes, and he then wondered what she was.
"Who the hell are you?" He snapped. He gripped his sword tighter, considering the option of just chopping her head off or something, but he would feel a little guilty for destroying such beauty.
((OOC: Blah, sorry about the short post...))
Brahms - March 10, 2008 12:31 AM (GMT)
Brahms was jumping from roof to roof. He had entered the own with the tiefling and they got their seperate way, they had been to suppose to join him later. But it's been hours from that and he had been tell by a misterious bat, a familiar from the Divshatten headquarters to gather all the members as soon as possible. There was another member in town one named Erolam.
He knew that Fehade could be busy and if he had no sign it meant no trouble. On second thougth maybe not. The tiefling was so imbued by his own proudness that he forgot about his own safety.Let him, find the other. This was Teazon, the demon within the lycan. A monster within a monster. The bard grinned to that sentence.
The demon had awaken few days ago only. It had talked about gathering the most powerfuls members of the demon guild to release upon the world a vengeful demon who would obey the caster. The idea of having such power was really interesting to the half-elf. He could not refuse.
He then saw city guards. What was that all? He followed them from above. But there was something weird in the air. Unholy, it had to be Erolam near. He saw the dogs looking around, they were far from the man he wanted. With a bump, the werewolf appeared in all of his glory.
The dogs growled and barked at him. So he did it too, provoking the canines beast. The first jumped at him and was thrown on the wall, bonecrushed under the palm of the wolfman. Another dog jumped towards the lycan but was quickly grabbed and his neck broke making an echoe down the street. The other dogs ran away, followed by the guards who wanted their dogs back. "You can come out now, there won't be after you anymore."Neither could he see the wanted member, but he could well smell his presence.
Erolam - March 10, 2008 01:15 AM (GMT)
Erolam's smile only grew. The lycan was an intriguing specimen, showing such a display of power so openly. His essence felt more like two beings rather than one. Erolam attributed this to some form of demonic infusion, of which he himself desired, to become an even stronger demon. His desires were purely beneficiary to himself and his ventures.
You can come out now. They won't be after you anymore.
I thank you, lycan. Without your assistance, one of the dogs would have found me out. He spoke, still in the shadows. His gravelly voice echoed through the alleyway, not revealing his presence. He enjoyed games.
Do you have a purpose in seeking me out, or is there some other reason you've come to assist a hidden tiefling? He asked, curious. The lycan seemed to have a cause for this, and Erolam was going to find out what it was, for good or for bad. Not many people willingly come after one such as himself, so the man may be a friend. Even so, he unstrapped his mace and held it upside down, running the length of his arm, ready to lash out.
The stolen amulet was tucked under his shirt, it did not need to be delivered right away, but it couldn't hurt his reputation in the Taras alleyways as a reliable thief and hireling. He had started only recently, but if the guild called him out, he was there in a heartbeat. His life was for the guild, nothing came before that, save for his deepest desires, a craving for power and control.
Brahms - March 10, 2008 02:00 AM (GMT)
I thank you, lycan. Without your assistance, one of the dogs would have found me out.
"No prob, for now i'm only a simple watch dog, doing errands for the guild. But i proven myself, a demon had chosen me. By the way, my name is Brahms.[/b]"He got smaller and more human. His demonic mark as a tatoo around his eye."And you must be Erolam." He turned around looking at the corpses of the dogs.
Do you have a purpose in seeking me out, or is there some other reason you've come to assist a hidden tiefling?
"Divshatten will be making a meeting soon. They asked me to go after you and another one. But i was with him when we entered but... He sighed. And turned around try to see where the tiefling could be hidden. " We splitted up and now i must look for him too..."
If he could prove himself by the doing the errands and beeing nice to the other member of the guild, they could let him join them. Atleast he hoped, he wanted to join them and make a massacre so bad in Imythess. Beeing one of the lord of the abyss. Brahms, lord of the abyss. Nice title.
Miralay - March 10, 2008 02:05 AM (GMT)
Who the hell are you
These words hit Miralay like an arrow. She simply looked at Fehade as she walked around him, licking her lips.
W-who am i?...i do not remember...
Suddenly great pain swept accross her and she fell to her knees, her arms crossed clinging to her shoulders. Her nails where sunk so deep within her flesh, blood started to drip from her shoulders. Her eyes twitched at the site of blood, her mouth became watery as her body urged her to drink...
Her gaze returned to Fehade.
The question...is more what am i? i cant remember anything...exept...this hunger, this thirst that i cant seem to shut down...AAAAGH!
The sight of blood had unleashed a wave of thirst so strong that Miralay could barely think, the pain was undescribable.
Slowly, she crawled towards the demon. She needed to feed, and she was starting to understand what her body wanted.
Red...hot...blood...
But somehow she wasnt able to focus on getting Fehade as a "meal", he had a strange aura that caused her senses to resist the temptation of jumping on him...
Give me...blood...
Fehade - March 10, 2008 02:22 AM (GMT)
W-who am i?...i do not remember...
He watched her walked around him. His blood red eyes shimmering with annoyance, but then curiosity. How did she not know who she was? Amnesia? No. It was something more. He watched her fall to her knees. He made no move to help her, but merely watched her clench herself and draw blood. He looked into her eyes, his seeming to be dull, but curiosity lingered in them, deep in them.
The question...is more what am i? i cant remember anything...exept...this hunger, this thirst that i cant seem to shut down...AAAAGH!
He cocked he head. Vampire? So far she seemed to be acting like one, the hunger in her eyes, but normally, vampires don't forget who they are when they want to feed, but then again, he barely read up on all the types of vampires there are. He ran into one vampire once, one he tried to kill because of his annoyance toward it, but the vampire had gotten away. This one acted more differently.
The woman started crawling towards him, very weak from the hunger. He crouched down when she was near, and looked at her.
Give me...blood...
He smiled, in a almost cruel way.
"Vampire? That what you are? Well, If I had a heart I'd give you some, sadly though, I'm busy. No time to let a vampire to drink me dry." He said. He stood up, and took a few steps back. He would have left, but he didn't think he could leave her here to die, even if he has let hundreds of innocents die.
Miralay - March 10, 2008 02:36 AM (GMT)
Slowly, the Katane managed to stand up. Yes he was right...she understood now. She seemed to be part vampire. So it was blood she craved after all?
interesting... she thought.
She looked at fehade.
Oh she would simply take a bite out of him...in more than one way.
She walked up to the man until she was face to face with him and looked at him straight in the eyes.
If you wont give me your blood...
Her head went towards the demons neck, her harsh breath slightly pushing the mans hair.
Slightly baring her canines, she whispered to his ear in a hungry, yet melodious voice.
Then find me someone who is willing...or not...to feed me
She held of her urges to simply bite a chunk out of Fehade, causing her hands to twitch.
Fehade - March 10, 2008 03:19 AM (GMT)
He stood where he was, even when she walked up to his face. His eyes stayed on hers, his red eyes never wavered.
If you wont give me your blood...
He couldn't help but smirk slightly when he felt her breath on his neck. This vampire was interesting, very interesting. He put the tip of his katana on the cobblestone, but kept a tight grip on it, in case the vampire tried to do something. He listened to her voice near his ear.
Then find me someone who is willing...or not...to feed me
He was tempted to get her something to feed on, to see how she acted without the hunger, but he had a job, but it didn't have to be done right away, he had all week to get it done, if he didn't get the job done by the end of the week, then Mara wouldn't give him what he wanted, and he needed more power. Though, if he refused, he had a feeling that she would try to drink his blood, and he really didn't feel like killing this girl.
"I don't think I have much of a choice, darlin', either its kill you, which I don't want to do, or find you something to feast upon." He said, smiling cruelly.
Then, as if on cue, a troop of four guards came walking down the streets. A patrol. The guards saw them and started walking down the street. Fehade stepped back from the girl, a cruel smile on his face. It was like the smile his father used, cruel and evil, and smooth. He turned he head towards the guards, his red eyes gleaming deadly.
"Just on time, now aren't we, sir guards?" Fehade said, and grinned. His right hand gripped Aparul, the katana that was out, then his left hand took hold of his second katana, Ismon, and he pulled it out. It was like near impossible to wield two katanas, but Fehade was trained to since he could hold a weapon. "Why don't we play?" Fehade said, and he then charged at the guards. They quickly drew their weapons, realizing who he was, since there were wanted posters for the tiefling.
Fehade made it to the first guard, and cut him down with a swipe of one katana across his neck, slicing the guards head clean off his shoulders. The second guard who reached Fehade first was a little harder to kill. The second guard lunged at Fehade. The tiefling dodged the blade by a side step, but the guard quickly slashed at him. Fehade blocked with Ismon, then stabbed with Aparul, the blade cutting under the guards sword arm, making the man drop his longsword. Fehade grinned, as he slid his right katana between the mans armor, and into his side. The third guard charged at Fehade like the others, he swung his two-handed longsword at Fehade's head, but the tiefling ducked, then lashed out with a vicious kick, hitting the guard in the chest, but the man wore plate mail, and only stumbled slightly, but it gave Fehade enough time to make deep cuts into the mans legs in between the armor. The man fell to his knees in pain. Fehade looked at the fourth guard, who was now terrified of the tiefling, and turned around and ran. Fehade didn't give chase, but merely watched the guard go, then he looked at the third guard, who was staring up at him pleadingly.
Grinning, Fehade looked over his shoulder to the vampire girl.
"Think I've found your dinner." He said.
Erolam - March 10, 2008 03:42 AM (GMT)
Erolam grinned at the young one in front of him. He spoke with a hidden, faint tone of kindness, and a hint of hope in there too. Erolam liked hope. It made the games all the more fun. He dismissed the stream of thoughts, thinking instead of what was to be done now. He thought for a moment on what the boy had said. The guild was calling for a meeting. And that meant dropping the current objective and going along with the boy. Erolam gave a toothy grin, stepping from his shadowy cover. His black skin was neatly concealed in the night, save for the small, contrasting stripes, much like those of a tiger. He brushed hair from his black eyes, Searching the boy in better light.
His hooves made a deep clicking sound on the alleyway. He smiled and strapped his mace back to his belt. I am happy for your achievement, finding a willing demon to fuse with your soul. A nice bonus to any warrior. he grinned again. Brahms, you say? I'll have to remember that name. He said coolly.
If the guild calls, then I must answer. Was his simple reply. He always thought of himself a little polite for such a beast. He watched a canine form twitch on the ground, still alive. He planted a foot into the creature's skull, crushing it. He reached down and dipped a finger into an open wound, placing the finger in his mouth and sucking on it thoughtfully. The blood was a pleasing, metallic taste. He smiled.
Canine blood is a little too...sweet for me. I prefer a good, strong flavor. Like elves. He exclaimed randomly, into open air. He did not care what other thought of his ways, he was pleased with his acts, and so he would stay.
Well, then. Let's go find our friend.
Brahms - March 10, 2008 04:03 AM (GMT)
The man was happy to see te face of the so called Erolam. Atleast he would know someone more in the guild. Aether, Fehade and now him. Nice asset among the guild members. The half-elf brushed his back and smiled at the tiefling.
I am happy for your achievement, finding a willing demon to fuse with your soul. A nice bonus to any warrior
Of that, the bard knew. He was more of the type to fight with his bare hand. Or claws depending on the situation. He nodded as he walked back in the street. Where were does guards? And even more important where was this stubborn Fehade? What was he up to?
If the guild calls, then I must answer
He heard the thief says in hie back. "That's my motto, even though i'm not a full member yet...." This thought made him a little upset. Hoe long before getting in? Right now he was doing an important task, and he hoped tp be rewarded by getting in Divschatten.
Canine blood is a little too...sweet for me. I prefer a good, strong flavor. Like elves.
That comment made laughed outloud the lycan. He liked the humour of Erolam this could be entertaining.:Well, don't try me, I'm a half-elf werewolf. Just imagine the taste i would have!" Suddenly he heard a sound. People were fighting. It had to be Fehade. "Hope he did not do anything stupid."He said outloud. He rushed in the streets to see the source of the fight and he saw the tiefling among injured city guards.
"Fehade! What's happening here?" His eyes widened as he saw the woman. He spared her?!?"Are you getting soft? Are your just wa nt a good time with this lady tonight?"He asked while grinning. This guy sure was interesting.
Miralay - March 11, 2008 10:22 PM (GMT)
Miralay observed the fight with interest, her eyes twitched each time a droop of blood was spilt. She followed the last guards for a moment with her eyes...no he was going to be her meal, she couldnt let him escape. Grabing her bow, she pulled on the string and shot at the mans back. The wooden arrow struck in the mans back leg, where there was no armor. The guard fell in pain and started to sob...he was so scared!
The katanes body simply pushed itself to the first guard. He was bleeding heavily, she had to act quickly if she wanted to feed on him.
Sinking her fangs in him, she started to drink. She was so starved, she didnt simply drink, she chewed on the mans neck, ripping up his flesh into a weird mix of skin and blood. Once the man was "empty" she tossed him aside violently and let out a bestial roar of tryumph.
Her eyes quickly turned to the second man, fehade had sliced his legs so he couldnt move. She gave this one a similar treatment, exept it lasted longer and the man still had the strenght to feel the pain. As the blood flowed withing her, the memories of her past slowly came back. Her name, her age, her lonelyness...the begining of her hunger...and then it was blank. But no matter, she had regained what was hers.
The now fully aware Miralay got up and stood there, looking at the last guard.
NO PLEASE SPARE ME!, I DONT WANT TO SERVE TO SATISFY YOUR HUNGER!!!!
Miralay burst out with a terrible, cruel laughter.
She spoke as she slowly walked towards the guard. Her movement was slow and smooth, almost feline.
Ooooh, it is not my hunger that your going to satisfy...its my lust
She sat on the man (who was lying on his back) as if riding him and pushed her hair out of her face.
The guard, completely desperate, tryed to hit her witha punch, but she quickly grabed the mans arm and sunk her nails in his flesh, causing a small trickle of blood to flow.
Now now...be a good desert will you? She said as she licked the blood on his arm.
she then slowly pressed her body against the terryfied man and slowly sunk her fangs in the last of her meals... but this one was simply for pleasure, so she simply let the blood touch her tongue for the taste. Once she was finished shegot up and wiped the blood from her chin.
Looking at Fehade she spoke in a melodious voice.
Next time, give me a worthy meal...not some scum....but i guess i am still thankfull, since i do feel better.
She walked up to the demon infused "savior", completely ignoring the good looking half elf and thief.
placing her hand on his chest she spoke in almost a whisper.
Hmmm, nice and strong...if ever theres a way i can repay you...name it
On her last words, a mischevious grin apeared on her face, slightly showing off her pointy teeth.
Fehade - March 11, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
He walked away from the guard he stood over, but he didn't go far. His two katanas were still in his hand, in a loose grip. He watched as the vampire started to drink the blood from the one she shot down. He felt slightly disgusted at watching her rip his flesh, but he was used to the sort of thing, well, killing things and seeing a lot of blood. He enjoyed seeing blood, sometime when he killed he would feel happy about it, and it always gave him a odd feeling. A wide, near crazed grin came across his face, when he heard the last guards pleas. He always love hearing innocent people beg for mercy, but his attention was soon drawn away from the girl, and to the half-elf lycan, Brahms.
"Fehade! What's happening here? Are you getting soft? Are your just wa nt a good time with this lady tonight?"
Fehade's face twisted in anger and a deadly glint flashed through his bright red eyes, but his eyes seemed to dull, and looked darker, more like pools of blood. He thought it was pretty obvious to what was happening, killing guards and letting the vampire feast. But it was the getting soft part Fehade despised the most. He didn't care if the lycan meant it seriously, or as a joke, Fehade never tolerated being called soft, or weak. He spun his left katana expertly, then the right, actually considering the thought of punishing the lycan for even just saying such a thing.
"Don't ever think me soft, lycan. Or shall we see how soft I am after a cleave your head from your shoulders?" He snapped, eyes lighting up with the idea. He again spun in katanas in a expertly fashion, then he sheathed the swords into there scabbards. His cold hard gaze still on the lycan, till it wandered over to the other tiefling and stayed there a moment. Fehade knew the tiefling was from thew guild, but he couldn't remember meeting him yet.
He saw movement in the corner of his eye, and turned, looking at the vampire woman, who seemed to be finally done with her meal.
Next time, give me a worthy meal...not some scum....but i guess i am still thankfull, since i do feel better.
He smiled thinly. "Best I could do for now." He said. Though, if the guards hadn't come around that corner, Fehade would have most likely left her, let her die, or try to fend for herself. He didn't have much feeling of kindness left, not since what happened to him when he saved his half-sister Zehavya's life. He would hate to go through that again. Being banished from his family was not a fun thing to go through.
He stared in her eyes when she placed her hand on his chest, and he smirked slightly.
Hmmm, nice and strong...if ever theres a way i can repay you...name it
He raised his hand and traced one finger down her jawline. This girl had sparked his interests, and she was very attractive. He would have liked to spend more time with her, but he knew he had jobs to complete, and playing with a girl wasn't going to get it Mara's jobs accomplished, and then, of course he had a father who wanted him to find Fehade's sisters, the tiefling barely had time to enjoy himself.
"Maybe when I have some free time." He said quietly, grinning, then he stepped back, and turned towards the lycan and other tiefling.
"Now, what do you want?" He said coldly. He was sick of others trying to find him. He had to much to do, and didn't want to deal with friends at the moment. He stood there, one of his hand resting on Aparul.
"Told you it was foolish to join a guild when in your search for power. You'll never accomplish anything with so much to do. Just do your jobs with the dark mage and get the power you deserve, then take out your father, after that, everything will go smoothly and you can go to the guild with the duties they give you." Rraezanon's voice hissed through Fehade's head. Fehade closed his eyes slightly.
"The guild gives me some allies, and thats what I need. The goal is to get power, but you sometimes need allies to help with some things." Whispered Fehade. He sounded like he was talking to himself, he could just speak in his head, but speaking out was a habit. Luckily, Rreazanon didn't push any further. Fehade would have to speak to the demon infused later.
Brahms - March 12, 2008 12:39 AM (GMT)
Brahms was surprised to see the woman fed on the injured guards. He then realized. The tirfling had been fedding a vampire? Grinning, he remembered there was somewhat a rivality between Vampires and lycans. But seeing the woman at works and then roar, he sayed out loud. "Hey, that's my kind of woman..." Then as she layed on the last guard, so seductivly, the half-elf tilted his head on the side to have a better look on her, and most particularly on her butt."Really, but really my type of woman."
Don't ever think me soft, lycan. Or shall we see how soft I am after a cleave your head from your shoulders?
The bard took a back step."Hey, c'me on! Can't you take a joke? I was kidding. She is obviously really interesting."He turn to the beatiful blood sucking woman."Hey, babe! What's you cute lil'name?" Sure she was magnificent, her cruelty add more charm to the kill. She was definitly his type.
if ever theres a way i can repay you...name it
Brahms eyes widened. The half-elf got interested more and more. He pointed at the woman more to point out her sentence."See? See what i was talking about? Hehehe, i know one who will have a wild night of action. Man, that i envy you!" He was kidding of course. Half of it...
Now, what do you want?
Brahms was now serious. When it comes to the guild, the half-elf was always serious."Hey, It's not what i want, but what Divschatten wants. They told me to bring you two to the headquarters. We got a meeting...I mean you got a meeting."He was still too low to be a guild member, he had to make his proof.
Watch him carefully, lycan. This one smells like trouble...The demon inside the werewolf warn. What are you talking about? That's Fehade's style. Then just stay on your guards.Taezon says.Huh? Why? But the fiend stayed silent. What was going on?
thefunkmonk - March 14, 2008 02:36 AM (GMT)
Exiting the bar, Darhk made his way onto the city streets. It was mostly quiet, let a few guards taking their shift and the occasional street cat or crow making a ruckus. It was dark, but the young thief didn't mind. He preferred darkness to light, as it felt more like home to him. Darhk wasn't quite sure of his heritage, though he assumed he was at least a vampire due to the fact that he thirsted for blood every week or so. The young man also assumed he was something else, something even more unique than the average citizen of Imythess, or perhaps the entire world.
The closest guard eyed down Darhk, though tried to hide his suspicions with statuesque pose and lack of movement. The young man glared back, causing the guard to realize he had been caught looking. Darhk hadn't cared much, though, as he had been judged since the day he awoken in the alleyway.
The moonlight poured across the city, leaving plenty of shadows in the alleyways and corners of the streets. Darhk enjoyed these nights the most, as the disproportional light helped him in sneaking past guards and into homes. However, the young thief had already plundered a few homes that night, which was why he was at the bar. There was celebration for a very successful night of raiding.
Looking around for a moment, Darhk seemed to see a blurry figure in the distance, within an alleyway. "Fellow thief, perhaps?" he said to himself, making his way towards whatever it might be. As he got closer, Darhk made his way onto the nearby rooftop and looked down upon the figure he had seen before. It happened to be a group of different people "Odd group..." he commented to himself, though it came out in his speech. Covering his mouth quickly, the young thief jumped away from the ledge of the roof and ducked down. He would most likely be heard.
Erolam - March 15, 2008 04:07 PM (GMT)
Erolam heard a sound, turning his head to the rooftops. He leaned over towards the werewolf at his side. There's somebody else present. I won't stray far, but don't look for me. Erolam grinned and looked back to the rooftops. 'It's certainly been a while since I've traveled the Thieves Highway' He thought to himself, referring to the rooftops as such for the advantage of mobility and a good hiding place from the rest of the city. While guards and such were forced to run the streets, thieves could run across alleyways and such, given they knew how.
Erolam made his way around the building, to and intricately forged iron ladder. He climbed up, scouting the rooftops. He could not see much, his eyesight was terrible. He listened for any giveaway sounds, the beat of a heart or the drawing of breath. He could hear little sounds, coming from the other side of the rooftop. Erolam gave a wily grin and strode his way across the roof, hooves clicking. He spotted a small form, crouched down. It was most likely a thief.
Well, I see you've seen our little... Group. Tell me, why would you be out so late at night? Or are you accustomed to such darkness? He smiled again, teeth flashing. He crossed his black arms and waited his answer, studying the man.
He himself was a thief, but not a very good one. He was not made for the job, his psyche was more leaned towards the violent and cruel side, not for the shadows of the homes of others. He was merely waiting for the right time to begin his studies into the darker magics, practiced by sorcerers. The thought of such spells appealed to him greatly, imagining the suffering he could inflict, as well as the upper hand in melee combat.
Miralay - March 15, 2008 05:01 PM (GMT)
Miralay enjoyed feeling Fehades finger moving down her jaw, the slight caress made her shiver in pleasure. He sure did know how to use his fingers...
suddenly the man became cold again and turned his attention towards the lycan. She felt disapointed, she wasnt the center of atention anymore. Luckily he seemed pissed at the others, wich made it a little more fun, she was curiopus to see how this would turn off.
"The guild gives me some allies, and thats what I need. The goal is to get power, but you sometimes need allies to help with some things." Whispered Fehade.
Miralays lips slowly moved into a nice smile.
If it is an ally and power your looking for...i gladly help you.
She licked her lips in anticipation as her eyes gazed at these beautiful men that where obviously all fro the same guild.
if you would be so inclined as to...how to say...let me joinyour little...club, i would gladly be your partner...no matter the place
as she spoke her body slightly rubed itself against the half demon...she then turned her head around and winked to the others...
If i like you enough...this can be valide for you to...half-elf.
she was disapointed that one of the men here had left, but it seemed he had not gone far. Somehow this guild reallycaught her atention. Was it because it was filled with evil beings? filled with strong beings? filled with hot men? or all the above.....she wondered.
Brahms - March 15, 2008 05:39 PM (GMT)
There's somebody else present. I won't stray far, but don't look for me.
Brahms nooded. He had heard his foot steps. Since his ears were slightly better then anyone else because of his lycanthropy. He let his new ally disappear into shadows and he looked back to the others.
if you would be so inclined as to...how to say...let me joinyour little...club, i would gladly be your partner...no matter the place
The half-elf grinned."Hey, if you let me choose your place. You may like it..or should i say, enjoy it?"He cuold not help but think about weird ideas. Well, after all it was her fault, her behavior. If she was acting this way and badly reacting at that comment it was not the lycan's fault.
If i like you enough...this can be valide for you to...half-elf.
He raised an eyebrow and widened his smile."Really? But you still did not name yourself. I'm Brahms, some knows me as wildheart. At your service, mylady."He bowed to the nymph. If she was ready to obey to join the guild, he would not mind. Though, he would be a little mad if she is granted access at the first try.
Darhk - March 15, 2008 05:54 PM (GMT)
"Just finished work," Darhk said, lifting himself out of the shadows. "My, I thought you were human from far away. You look a bit...different." The young thief, though he should have probably been scared, only moved closer to the man. "Why are you and your pals stalking in the alleyways, anyways? Believe me, I wouldn't say anything to the guards if it was illegal. Actually..." Darhk grinned. "I wouldn't mind joining if a gold or two were involved."
Darhk didn't really seem to get along with average folk, though others that were different than the norm seemed attracted to his odd personality. The young thief was pushed by greed, and he allowed it to control his life. He moved from one goal to another, all leading to a chance for more money. Darhk often found the deepest, most complex, and most dangerous schemes to be the most rewarding.
"Everyone could always use another hand, right?" Darhk continued, now completely out of the shadows. "Why don't you let me in on what you guys were doing down there? Perhaps I wouldn't mind helping out if you needed it."
Fehade - March 15, 2008 06:52 PM (GMT)
((OOC: Since so many people joined my topic, I think it would be good to have a posting order, so it leaves time for everyone to get a chance to post. If no one has any objections, this is how the posting order will go:
Fehade
Erolam
Miralay
Darhk
Brahms))
"Hey, It's not what i want, but what Divschatten wants. They told me to bring you two to the headquarters. We got a meeting...I mean you got a meeting."
Fehade mumbled a curse under his breath. Now he did somewhat agree with Rraezanon, but he did need allies, for his future plan, oh well, he had ways of making this work. He looked at Brahms, Fehade's eyes still seemed to show complete annoyance. "When is this meeting taking place?" Fehade asked, his voice cold.
If it is an ally and power your looking for...i gladly help you.
He cocked his head slightly to the girl, a thin smile on his face. "People have got to earn my trust, girl. That means you too, even if your a beauty." Fehade said. His head snapped up to look at the roofs. He heard a voice. His gaze went to the other tiefling, who walked off, probably to look for the source. He looked at the lycan, wanting an answer.
if you would be so inclined as to...how to say...let me joinyour little...club, i would gladly be your partner...no matter the place
He felt her body touch his, and a slight smirk went on his face, then he sighed. "If you want to join the guild, then I have no real say in the matter. It is up to the leader of the guild." He said, his voice became hollow, and his eyes darkened.
"You don't need more allies. Theres plenty of people in the guild. I don't even see your point to get some allies." The demon infused whispered again in Fehade's head. "You wouldn't, Rraezanon. He answered this time in his head also, not wanted to seem odder talking to himself more and more.
"Really? But you still did not name yourself. I'm Brahms, some knows me as wildheart. At your service, mylady."
He did wonder what the girls name was, though, before, she had said she couldn't remember. His curiosity seemed to grow. "Be careful around this woman." The demon warned. The tiefling shifted slightly, then glanced about, thinking he felt the presence of Hakri, but knowing his father the demon was stay hidden until Fehade was alone. He sighed silently, and hoped it was just a false feeling.
((OOC: blah, sorry if this doesn't seem like the greatest post...))
Erolam - March 15, 2008 11:28 PM (GMT)
Erolam smiled at the Thieve's naivete. He seemed so comfortable in his presence, whereas others would be scared out of their wits of the large, black skinned, black eyed, hooved being. Perhaps the thief was braver than he gave credit for. Or just foolish.
My, I thought you were human from far away. You look a bit...different
Erolam laughed openly in his harsh, gravelly voice.
"Perhaps from a very long ways. If you haven't noticed, i have hooves." He smiled. This one had a sense of humor he liked. He frowned at the man's next comment. "You do realize that i am not in charge of the happenings of our... little group. There is much more happening tonight than you seem to think." He looked to the moon.
He remembered the necklace around his neck. He reached into his shirt and pulled it off. He stared at the metal gleaming in the moonlight and tightened his grip on it. Looking out to the city, he reached back and hurled it, sending it across the rooftops. He thought of this singular action as his retirement from theivery, and on to a life more fitting.
Miralay - March 18, 2008 01:04 AM (GMT)
The dark lady moved back slightly disapointed. She would need to meet this guildmaster if she wanted Fehade. And she did want the man. How could she gain the trust of such a man thought? he was cold and harsh...she liked that but getting him to trust her wouldnt be easy.
She looked at the half elf...he seemed to be part of the guild also, since fehade was busy, maybe this man could help her get an audiance withthe great guild master.
Hey you up there with the longs ears! since you seem to be heading back to your guildie, mind if i tag along? Our friend here seems busy, but you seem available. I would like to meet this leader of yours...
She suddenly realised they didnt know her name...
my name is Miralay...but you can call me darling
she gave the men a charming wink.
Darhk - March 18, 2008 01:15 AM (GMT)
Darhk turned sharply as the pendant flew over his head, turning back towards the half-fiend once it was thrown. "Why did you do that?" the thief asked, looking out again. "That could have worth a lot of money..." His voice drifted off into a mumble, though the vampire turned to face the man once again.
Darhk smiled, remembering the humanoid's comment. "You all looked like humans from far away," he responded, his voice holding sarcastic tone. "Of course I can tell now that none of you are humans. I find that better, though. Humans aren't one of my favorite creatures."
Looking at the half-fiend's demonic features, the young thief spoke again. "What do I seem to think?" he asked. "How far do you think my mind is able to go in order to contemplate what you could possibly be planning? Like I said, I want some money. If you're plans are as intricate and secret as you say, there must be some sort of cash involved. Again, it's not like I have anyone to tell about some sort of 'evil scheme' of any sort. I dislike the guards far more than a couple of suspicious folk walking around town, you know?" Darhk took another step, making the distance between the two a little above a yard.
"Come on," Darhk edged on, his voice becoming convincing. "What could the harm of one more ally bring?"
Brahms - March 18, 2008 01:30 PM (GMT)
When is this meeting taking place?
Since when Fehade was THAT cold towards Brahms? He had awlays been cold but not that much. If it was because the half-elf was not a full member yet, the tiefling coud have been at his coldest since the beginning. So, the bard crossed his arms. "As soon as everyone is there, not asking questions about it." The lyacan was really starting to get annoyed by that kind of atttitude.
-If it is an ally and power your looking for...i gladly help you.
-People have got to earn my trust, girl. That means you too, even if your a beauty.
-f you would be so inclined as to...how to say...let me joinyour little...club, i would gladly be your partner...no matter the place
-If you want to join the guild, then I have no real say in the matter. It is up to the leader of the guild.
It seems that the vampire wanted to join the guild also. He hoped that she would not gain faster then him, that would be really insulting. Only because she could pleased men easily would mean that. The werewolf knew that vampires were troubles. It should be interesting to see how much it's going to affect the team.
Hey you up there with the longs ears! since you seem to be heading back to your guildie, mind if i tag along? Our friend here seems busy, but you seem available. I would like to meet this leader of yours...
Raising a eyebrow, Brahms stared at her. Now he was Fehade susbtitute? He would not mind to have some feminine company towards the guild hall, atleast if he could get some fun out of it. He looked at the tiefling, and then at the nymph. "There is only one requirement that you will be asked to have: Be demon-infused, or have demonic origins. Until then it's you who serves under us. I am demon-infused, so you got to obey till we meet the guildmaster, and Fehade and Erolam, the guy who was there sooner, are higher then me. Better show proper...Devotion.[/b]" He had a wide smile on his face, showing up a bit of his canine.
my name is Miralay...but you can call me darling
Brahms grinned."Nice to meet you, darling. But we will go since someone had something more important to do then go back to the place where he belong." He had raised his voice to make sure the tiefling could hear him and then turned around. He passed the building where the other tiefling was with another guy"Kill that guy, Erolm. We are going. We had wasted enough time![/b]
Fehade - March 19, 2008 03:28 AM (GMT)
my name is Miralay...but you can call me darling
He glanced at Miralay, but decided not to say anything, but he was a bit curious as to why she didn't know her name when she was hungry. Probably a vampire thing he didn't know. His gaze returned to Brahms, and his red eyes flashed a strange near orange color almost like a inner fire.
"As soon as everyone is there, not asking questions about it."
That answer didn't suit the tiefling, he considered snapping out at the lycan to give a better answer, but decided against it, it wouldn't be good to ruin anything, and get another enemy. He bite his tongue hard to keep from lashing out. He stayed silent as Brahms spoke to Miralay. He was getting a little impatient. He wanted to get Mara's job done, well, at least the one he has to in Taras. He supposed it shouldn't take long, if it didn't lead to his sister Zιmire.
He sighed silently, then walked off a little ways, and looking both ways of the street, wondering where Evier was. He then whistle, a loud sharp piercing noise. In response to his whistle, there was a neigh of a horse in the distance, then the clattering of horse hooves. Then, the nightmare horse Evier ran down towards Fehade. The tiefling stood still, even if it looked like the horse would trample him, but the nightmare skidding to a stop in the last second. The horse was dark, and had a saddle on it, attached to the saddle was a pack, then a morningstar, and a couple swords. Fehade walked to the side of the horse and mounted it, then patted the horses neck and leaned close.
"Have any idea where Nzalalih and Rozpalsariel are?" He whispered to the horse, who stomped her hoof on the ground. He straightened up.
"Nice to meet you, darling. But we will go since someone had something more important to do then go back to the place where he belong."
He gave Brahms a thin smile, his red eyes seemed to dull. "Dangerous thing to say, Brahms, especially around me." He said, his voice was cold, and seeming to be snake like. He looked up towards the other tiefling. Erolam. No, Fehade hasn't met him, but at least he now knows the name. He hoped the meeting will go quick, but he also wondered what it was about. He looked at the buildings nearby, suddenly feeling slightly uneasy. A familiar feeling seemed to cross him, and it annoyed him. It wasn't the unholy like aura like Mara has, but a different one, one of someone good. He narrowed his eyes.
"Zehavya's near. Thats whats it is. We should leave this city now." Rraezanon hissed. Fehade cocked his head slightly, then shook his head a little. No... even if I can't break the spell, there are others who could kill her. If she comes, they can kill her. It would be nice to have that aasimar out of the way... Fehade thought. "But the point for revenge is to take it out yourself." the pit fiend said. It is my father I want revenge on. Zehavya was not the one who brought the whip down, it was Hakri... he thought, and the infused stayed quiet.
"Brahms... keep an eye out for trouble. I sense a demon hunter about." Fehade said, but said the last part a bit quietly. It was Crackle who started it. If Fehade just let his family kill his half-sister, then he wouldn't have been banished from the demon family. Fehade supposed he was once softer at heart, for saving his half-sisters life, but he never really knew why he even did it, it was a foolish thing. His family could have been the most feared out there, but now it seemed the family was crumbling. His mother was dead, his sister missing, obviously hiding from Hakri, and his half-sister a part celestial, who was always an outcast, and him, the only son, but was banished.
He looked at Miralay, a smirk played across his face. She was beautiful, more beautiful then anything he's ever seen any way. He looked ahead then, into the darkness. "How come you couldn't remember your name when I asked who you were?" He asked. Might as well learn something that might be useful.
Erolam - March 19, 2008 01:55 PM (GMT)
Erolam smiled as the thief exclaimed at his throwing away of the necklace. "Consider it a retirement from my life as a thief. I've been wanting to do that for a long time now. About time i did. Thieve's life doesn't suit me." He looked back happily at the young human. The money did not matter to him, he would get it when the time came. Until then, meterial possessions meant nothing to him.
As the boy asked about the harms of a new friend, he merely smiled mysteriously and gave one of his famous one word speeches.
"Betrayal." He looked the boy in the eyes and grinned, unnerving to most. His eerie eyes were hardly useful anymore, for little more than getting a point across and intimidation. The looker into them would find themselves reflected, framed by the golden ring in his eye. He closed them and took in a deep breath, releasing it slowly.
"You must prove yourself. Be sure of your intentions. There is not much gold to be gained, but there is much bloodshed." He winked at the vampire, having noticed the traits. to many, especially those whom were not knowledgeable to the race, they were hard to identify. Near impossible unless they wanted you to know. But he had encountered them before, out on the battlefield, where he had obtained a rather nasty cut from a vampire's blade. Not having been given the blood, or infected too badly, he had merely grown an a slighlty addictive taste for blood, as well as a dislike of sunlight.
As brahms called up from the street, he laughed again. He was sure the vampire had heard the half elf, but Erolam cared not. He was being given orders from one who was not even in the guild, not nearly above him in rank. "I have no such intentions. fear not."
He merely gestured down to the streets, climbing down the side a little ways before jumping the rest, landing hard. He stood up and began towards the others.
"Follow if you wish. but hurry in any case." He said to the thief.
"Shall we join them?"
