Quarter horse plus a Clydesdale would equal her beautiful horse she now rode. Fury was golden with a white mane and fetlocks. Shadeen lazed on his back as he moved about the grassy land. His head was constantly down, chewing slowly on the delicious green morsels. Her arms were draped around his body, reaching down to brush slow circles into his shoulder. Her legs hung down by his loins and dangled over his sides. She was almost half asleep as he plodded through the grasses. She wasn’t really expecting anything to bother her.
“Hm...” Shadeen sighed sleepily. “It’s it odd Fury. Life can change so fast. Who knew...” She yawned and did a feline-like stretch on the horse’s back. This got a reaction of Fury shaking his whole body like a dog and snorting at Shadeen. She laughed lightly and patted his back. Another yawn and Shadeen found her eyelids drooping. She didn’t understand why she was so tired right now but ... before she even knew it she was asleep on Fury’s back.

Enelya was laying out in the green grass, enjoying herself as the breeze washed over her thin, twig-like body in the mid-afternoon. She closed her eyes every now and then, breathing in deeply, taking in the scents of the plains. Enelya ran her hands through her hair, combing it as it always seemed to get tangled into a big knot when she wasn't looking. Though, she heard something similar to a hoof beating against the ground, causing her to sit up slightly.
Sure enough, there was a beautiful horse, slowly grazing along the grasses a bit down the pathway. Enelya stood, wiping the leaves and blades of grass from her rear, and sauntered over to the equarian, seeing what it was up to. She wondered if it was lost, or something. But instead, as she neared, she saw a nice lady sleeping on its back! Enelya grinned, and rubbed the horse's nose softly, letting it know that she wasn't going to harm it, or its rider. She tilted her head slightly as she moved towards the lady, and rubbed her shoulder, whispering, "you know its much more comfortable up in the trees than it is on a horse's back."

Fury pushed his nose into the girl’s hand, nuzzling his fur against her skin. The horse seemed to find nothing wrong with the lady, instead he nudged at her body looking for hidden treats she might have. Giving up once he deemed the search fruitless he lowered his head back to the earth.
Shadeen groaned and woke up turning her gaze onto the woman who shook her awake. She studied the girl then smiled. She laughed and tilted her head to the side. She patted Fury and swung her leg over his side and lowered herself to the ground.
“If you think a tree is more comfy then Fury I don’t think you’ve ever sat on a horse,” Shadeen smiled at the lady. It was broad and playful, and she motioned for the girl to try and see just how comfortably Fury was. She could sleep on the horse for days if she wanted to.
“I’m Shadeen,” She smiled and closed her eyes.

Enelya smiled as the horse nuzzled his nose into her hand, and then proceeded further, almost mugging her for treats she didn't have! Enelya's eyes widened and she bursted out into laughter. "I'm sorry sweetie, I don't have anything for you..." Enelya kissed the soft nose of the horse, and grinned. "He's a lovely animal... What's his name?" She just assumed he was a male... For Enelya had met few mares as bold as he. The Plant Lady then reached down, and grabbed a handful of grass, offering it to the animal, her palm flat to prevent any unwanted biting.
“If you think a tree is more comfy then Fury I don’t think you’ve ever sat on a horse,”
Enelya thought for a moment, tapping her chin, and shrugged. "You know, now that I think about it, I have never been on a horse before!" She grinned and laughed, patted the horse softly on the shoulder. As the woman motioned for her to try, Enelya looked at her sheepishly, before hoisted herself up onto the horse with a bit of difficulty. As she sat there, the horse nodded his head slightly in excitement, and Enelya giggled, grabbing onto his mane for support. "Oooh! I'm so high off the ground!" She bent over, to where her torso was resting on the horse's neck so she didn't feel so high off the ground.
“I’m Shadeen,”
Enelya waved, "Enelya," she said, watching the ground below her intently.

((OoC: Sorry this took awhile Lol. Also… I'm so excited to hear how it went!! ^^ I might not be online tonight (I'll try :)) but Sunday night for sure…. I hope. LoL)
“This is Fury.” Shadeen dug into her pocket and produced a small apple. She held it out on her hand and offered it to the horse. He sunk his teeth in happily and took off half the apple in one bite. “Wanna give him the rest?” Shadeen beamed at Enelya. She was so proud of her horse, she loved horses so much and now she had one of her own. “All you have to do it hold your hand out like this,” Shadeen flattened her hand and placed the apple on her palm. “Alright? But it can be a reward for him after.” She pocketed the apple. Enelya could give him it after she’d had some time on his back.
Shadeen couldn’t stop smiling. The day was beautiful, and if she thought about it so was Enelya. There was good company about and the sun shone down on the Debon Plains like a jewel in the sky. “Don’t be scared alright… He’s really nice,” Shadeen smiled then touched Fury’s nose and coaxed him forward a bit. Once he was following her she started walking towards a tree that rose up in the plains.
“If you try riding, I guess I should see if a tree really is more comfortable.” Shadeen laughed. As they walked Shadeen found herself wanting to know about Enelya. “Where are you from? You look so different from anyone I’ve met… But you’re very pretty, so it’s not a bad thing,” Shadeen blushed, she didn’t want to seem mean or rude.

“This is Fury.”
“Fury…” Enelya repeated it, patting the horse’s neck, with a slight smile. The beast was magnificent and bigger than anything she’d ever seen in the forests that was for sure! The biggest thing really was a deer, which was about three times smaller than the horse! She could see the breath of the animal in front of her, the sides expanding and compressing with each inhale, followed by another exhale; the power of the magnificent beast was almost enchanting. Enelya looked to Shadeen, who seemed to hold onto much affection towards the beast. The Plant Lady grinned as Shadeen offered her the rest of the apple for later. Enelya tilted her head slightly, showing the animal her benign intentions. If a horse was anything like a deer, then they were skittish like hell, and liked to know that the other was just as nice as they were.
“Don’t be scared alright… He’s really nice,”
Nodding, Enelya agreed. Despite his name, he was a very calm animal, and at the same time, she wondered if there was a bit of kick behind such a kind thing. “Does he have a bit of a temper then, if you call him Fury?” She laughed a bit, “or maybe it’s just to intimidate others when you ride against them.” She could just see Shadeen calling out Fury’s name, making the horse out to be more ferocious. The muscles under the horse’s skin started to shift as it moved its legs, following Shadeen. “He loves you very much.” Enelya said, the affection radiating from animal to the woman was almost tangible.
“Where are you from? You look so different from anyone I’ve met… But you’re very pretty, so it’s not a bad thing,”
Biting her lip, Enelya looking down at the ground, moving underneath her. “I’m from Norwood forest…” Enelya started to blush as well, accepting the compliment, but curious as to why Shadeen was blushing as well.
Shadeen - February 22, 2008 03:13 AM (GMT)
Shadeen laughed. “I call him Fury because he’s got quite the spirit. He likes to buck and play around, but he’s nice so he won’t do that to you.” Fury let out a snort and shoved Shadeen a few steps forward with his nose. She laughed again. “And he’s got an attitude.” She poked his nose when he came close to her again and he snorted and threw his head from side to side.
“He loves you very much,”
Shadeen smiled to herself. “I love him too,” She had never known why but she had always had a tremendous soft-spot for horses. She had never actually owned one since Fury. He was a gift from Varonen and probably the most treasured thing in her life. Shadeen trotted along happily with Fury plodding along behind her, Enelya mounted on his back. The sun shone down brightly. It was warm and Shadeen loved the heat. She twirled in a circle playfully. When she reached the tree she touched it her palm before she backed up and stared up at it.
“I like Norwood Forest,” Shadeen smiled at Enelya and noticed her blush as well. Shadeen smiled at her and turned her head up and looked into the canopy above her. The first branch was relatively high and Shadeen contemplated on how to get up. She backed up a few paces and tired running up the tree. Her fingers brushed the bark before she fell back down. One more try and she wrapped her hands around it. She kicked her legs a little awkwardly before her pulled herself up.
“Care to join me?” Shadeen smiled at Enelya before she scrambled up to the next branch. She knew that Fury would just eat grass if she got off. He was good with staying around and not wandering off.

“And he’s got an attitude.”
Enelya laughed, and patted Fury on the neck. “I’m sure he does! Especially if that got him the name of Fury!” She giggled a bit, and ran her fingers through the horse’s mane, admiring the well-groomed animal. Shadeen must really love him very much… He was lucky to have such a wonderful caretaker. Of course, Enelya never viewed it as her ‘owning’ the animal, but simply taking care of it… Enelya never understood the owning of an animal… Just like she never would understand the owning of land, or even other people… It was such a strange world, and Enelya just did the things she thought would be best.
Smiling, Enelya took upon a little endearment to both Fury and Shadeen, their bond was so tight that even Enelya, and a complete outsider to them noticed their love for each other. There was such closeness, that she knew whatever happened to one of them, the other would be trailing not too far behind. “It isn’t every day that you find such a wonderful companion in an animal…” Enelya smiled, cherishing her animal friends. “They are such wonderful creatures, and I’ve always wondered why people do not attach themselves more often to animals. They are such sincere, and honest beings…” Never did you find a horse or dog that was secretly plotting against your every action…
“Care to join me?”
Enelya nodded, and directed Fury so that he was just under a lower branch for her to grab onto. She wrapped her arms around the branch, pulling herself up, and following Shadeen into the tree. “Of course!” Enelya laughed, and followed Shadeen higher and higher into the tree, even so that Fury couldn’t see them anymore. Enelya then rested her back against the trunk of the tree, extending her legs out upon the branch. It was so peaceful in the trees, and there was a feeling of safety as well; as if nothing could penetrate such a wonderful thing as sitting and contemplating in a tree.
