Title: Running Errands for a "Friend"
Description: ((OPEN!))

Fehade - February 1, 2008 07:50 PM (GMT)
Darkness came over the city quickly, making every street and alleys shadowed from all the buildings around, the city falling into a peaceful slumber. Shutters closed, and candles blown out. No one expected trouble to be caused, on such a lovely night, with the stars out, and the moon shining over. The town was liked wrapped up in a warm blanket, to bad, a demon lurked.

Fehade rarely came to this city, last time, caused some trouble when it was daylight out, but, Evier helped him out of the mess. Now, he figured he might do some damage at night, one could always use the fun of something dead. It would stir up something for the next day, but he was mainly here on business, he had to meet Mara here. Sure, she seemed angry about him nearly killing her, but luckily, she didn't mind as much, as the paladin had interrupted, and it had let Fehade think if he really wanted to kill Mara. Mara was a dark mage, who had helped teach Fehade most of his dark spells, even though, he was also taught by his father, but Fehade had been banish since he was 16, and hadn't finished all his training with them, so, when he met Mara, she agreed to help train him in the arts of dark magic. And another why he didn't want to kill her, was because she was the closest thing he had as a "friend".

Fehade never liked that word, he thought friends were a weakness, so never had any, and never liked anyone close, like his father, since banishment, they forced him away, as he them, so, he made sure he was never close, anyone who became what Mara was, died. Basically, Hakri had nearly branded it into his head.

Fehade Rode on Evier's back, slightly hunched over, staring at his had, that now had a strange reddish tint to it, and it felt leathery. He grimaced at that. He liked his features before, but since getting infused with Rraezanon, who had been a pit fiend, and a commander of one of the many armies of hell, Fehade had been changing, and he didn't like all those changes, the worst though, was this new look, the red tint, and the leathery skin.

"Damn skin color. I don't like it. Studs of horns on my head was good for me, but not leather like skin." He complained silently, but only got a cruel remark from Rraezanon. Annoyed, Fehade spoke again, "Now I regret ever going near that abyss." He said, though, the pit fiend only laughed, and said it was destined to happen. Now ignoring the infused demon, Fehade considered learning a new spell to hide his features, and he was pretty sure Mara would know the spell, he would have to ask.

He directed Evier to a dim alley, where he dismounted, and tied the reins loosely to the saddle, then he slipped off into the darkness of the alley, and went to the end of it, where it led out into a wide street. He strolled out into it, while putting the hood of his cloak up, and slipping a black glove onto his tinted skin. As he went, his cloak fluttered after him. He soon quickened his pace, wanting to get this meeting over with, even if he was eager to see Mara again.

After a while of walking down the street, he turned to face a largish building. It had two stories, and it had a almost elegant look to it. Lights were on in the lower part of the house, and he smirked a little, as he saw a figure walking about the house. He went up to the door, pulling the cowl of the hood of his cloak over his face a bit more, but he knocked upon the door.

There was sudden silence inside the house, before the tiefling heard someone coming over, and opened the door a crack. A pale face with light blue eyes peered out at the dark looking man standing on her door step. After a moment of silence, the woman opened the door wide, a smile upon her fragile looking face.

"I hope your not here to try killing me? Are you?" She asked, grinning. "There is no paladin to save you from my wrath." She spoke coldly, but it was absolutely true. If he tried to kill her, then she would kill him, and there was no paladin to try to save the woman, but Fehade's intentions was not to harm Mara.

"No, m'dear, I do not plan on harming you." He answered coolly, his voice matched her coldness. "At the moment, though, I sort of wish I had before, if the Paladin hadn't interrupted, I would have succeeded."

"Perhaps, but where would that have gotten you in the dark magic arts?" She asked, her lip curled. Fehade glared at her, before he removed his hood. Mara gasped, and took a step back, not out of fear, but merely surprise, then she laughed. "I had no idea you were willing to let that happen to you! But then, no one has a say in whether they do or do not want to be infused."

"No. One doesn't. Sides, if I get more power, then I can kill my father, and I will be free then, and wouldn't have to worry about finding my sisters, as he had given me that task." He said, and sighed. "Anyway, I was hoping you'd know a spell to hide my new features." He asked, running a gloved hand through his black spiky hair, but stopped when his hands touched the horn studs. He let his hand fall to his side.

Smiling, Mara nodded. She turned on her heel, and disappeared into another room for a few minutes. Fehade wandered about the small hall that he stood in. He looked at pictures on the wall, and saw painted pictures of a wealthy looking family. The place was too grand, he knew that when he saw it, and now he knew why. The house had belonged to a noble it seemed. Mara must have had killed the family, and taken the house for herself, well, till someone notices the noble is missing. He admired Mara, she was strong, and cruel in her own way, taking whatever the hell she wanted.

Mara soon came back with a scroll in hand, and passed it over to Fehade, who took it gratefully.

"Alter Self, thats what its called, use it, and it will change anything about you want gone, until you end the spell. I'm sure you can figure the words out by yourself." She said, her smile once more on her face.

Fehade nodded his thanks, and opened the scroll, studying it, before slipping it in a small bag hanging at his side, then he reached into another pouch and brought out a coin, and flicked it to her, and she caught it, smiling, and made it disappear into thin air.

"Is that all you want, Fehade Golden? Or are you here to say sorry about nearly killing me?" She asked, watching the tiefling coldly. Fehade merely laughed.

"You know me better then that, Mara, you know I would never say, or do such a thing." He said, his gaze hardened. He turned on his heel and headed for the door. When he reached it, he turned back to the woman, who merely stood there, watching him. "Did you have a job for me? Or did you just want to see me because you knew I needed a spell, or what?" He hissed.

"I suppose I do have a job for you... I need a few dragon scales. Red dragon scales. A wizard in town has some, but for an outrageous price. Get me some scales, I don't care how, I just know I'm not paying that much for some, so you can buy them for me, or steal them, or kill the wizard and take whatever you want, I just want the scales, as many as you can get, or as many has he has. He lives on the west side of the city, his house isn't hard to miss, its like a cottage, old and feeble, the wizard is too." She said. "Get me the scales, and I'll give you another spell." She said coolly, then left the hallway, leaving Fehade to consider if he wanted to do the job, then shrugged. He didn't have much to do, and her didn't mind running "errands" for Mara, if it included killing something. He left the house, and out into the dark street, and headed back towards Evier.

Cordelia Brooks - February 2, 2008 07:39 PM (GMT)
[OoC: x_x' I feel like this is a craptastic post. Forgive me and let me know if there's anything you want me to change.]

----------------

After hearing about how 'wonderful' the city of Cascadia was, there had been no doubt in her mind she should visit it. It was said that a god lived behind the waterfall, but to the vampire, that was really just a load of lies. She had also heard that this place was known for its art. While she had always had a certain soft spot for art, tonight wasn't the time to go looking for it. If anything, she was really coming to the city to see how the people were. From everything she had heard, she didn't really think the people here would be the brave kind. Sure, she was assuming, but what did she care? She would find out the truth eventually.

The loud sound of her boots against the ground wasn't the best way to go anywhere unannounced. Quite frankly, she didn't care. If she was going to go anywhere, she wanted people to know. Cordelia was dressed in her usual men's attire, with the hat atop her head. The night time helped her facial features remain out of sight, so she decided to leave her black hair hang freely. The locks were straight as they always were, framing her face and aiding even further in her effort to hide herself. To any one who saw her, she most certainly would have been a mysterious person to come across.

She had reached the city in one piece, though there was hardly anything else to be expected. Her appearance was usually enough to keep people away from her. She lifted her head from looking at the ground and looked around, feeling a bit uneasy due to the lack of inactivity and light. Perhaps it was night, but there were no candles or any sign of life. However, that soon changed as the sound of hooves reached her ears. She swung herself into an alley, leaning against the wall and watching as the rider passed. How strange; he was the first person she had seen here, and being the nosy, curious person that she was, Cordelia made up her mind to follow him. She might find out something interesting, and following him would make it easier to find out more about this town.

"Damn skin color. I don't like it. Studs of horns on my head was good for me, but not leather like skin."

Hearing him say that almost made Cordelia want to turn right around. He was talking to himself. No one in their right mind did such a thing. Even if he was hostile and insane, she probably could have fought, though she kind of wanted to save herself the trouble. There she was, assuming things again... the twenty seven-year-old really needed to break that habit. It was going to get her in a lot of trouble one day; following others would probably do that, too, though.

Nevertheless, Cordelia followed him, making sure to stay far enough behind to not be seen. He was boring, so far. His horse looked a bit weird, he talked to himself, apparently had some odd features... but it was nothing too extraordinary. So far, he was proving what she had thought about the people in this town. Boring, scared, and not worth her time. The lack of anyone around had done the same, but she thought following this guy might at least be a little bit interesting.

Why am I always the one who gets stuck doing the tedious stuff? she thought to herself with an inward sigh. The thought of doing something else hadn't even crossed her mind. She was smart, but once she was stuck on something, she had to follow through with it. She was too stubborn and determined to really do anything else.

Soon, he turned into an alley way. That was strange, and Cordelia's interest was officially piqued. He had dismounted his horse, leaving it there as he left the alley and went to the street on the other side. She would have followed, but she wasn't so sure how wise it would be to go passed that animal. Animals had never seemed to like her very much, and she returned the emotion just as strongly. It would be safer to wait until he came back to find out what was going on.

Since he was taking a while, the vampire sat down against the outside wall of the alley, looking at her finger nails. Such things mattered little to her. They were only nails, worrying about them was so trivial; but as of now, she had nothing better to do than waste time. She was smarter than to just walk away when she might find out something good, especially when she had made so much of an effort.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, she could hear footsteps returning to the alley way. Excited to the core, Cordelia stood up and brushed herself off, her cloak winding around her body. She took a step into the alley way, leaning against the wall like she had a while ago. "You're a pretty boring person..." Cordelia said in a low, quiet voice to disguise her gender. "I've been following you for a while, so far you've done nothing except ride that horse and talk to yourself. I'll admit, getting off and going somewhere was a bit weird — what was that about?" she asked, talking as if she knew him when she had never laid eyes upon him once in her life.

She scrunched her nose. "Your horse is kinda ugly, too, by the way... and he isn't really great company."

Fehade - February 3, 2008 12:13 AM (GMT)
He walked along the street, going a bit slow, just to take in the night a moment, then he strode again, into the alley, where Evier waited for him. The nightmare neighed when the tiefling was walking towards him, and the red eyes of the tiefling gleamed a moment. "Don't worry, precious. We'll leave this city as soon as I get a couple jobs done." He said, smiling evilly. He walked up to the nightmare, and untied the reins. He was about to swing himself unto the horse, when he heard a quiet voice. He spun on his heel, his gloved hand reached for the hilt of his katana. He made a strange growl in his throat.

"You're a pretty boring person..."

His hand twitched slightly, but he wasn't insulted by that, even if he was quite proud about himself, he wasn't affected by being called boring, but he was frustrated to hear that the person had been following him for a while.

"Your a fool for even showing yourself." He muttered angrily. His eyes darkened to a dark blood red. He clenched his hand around the hilt of his blade, he felt like stabbing the man through the chest. He smirked at the thought. He watched the man closely. He had no idea it was a woman, for his eyes had never been good in the dark, everything was always a bit darker then it should be truly, but he was still able to see fine in the night, just how the man there concealed himself, it more shadowy to him then it really was.

"What was that about?"

He merely stared at for a while, then snapped at her. "Not your business." He said coldly. Then he snarled a little when he insulted his horse, but he stayed quiet for a while, then he swung into the horses saddle, while glowering down at the man.

"I will warn you once; Speak again, and I will slice your throat open." He was getting annoyed. He didn't want to stay around to hear the fool babble on, and on. He had work to do, and the night was so short, and not much time to kill, or to do Mara's job. Last thing he'd want to do, is upset the dark sorcerer. She had always been stronger, and he could never lie about that.

"It is not in your place to question what business I have. If you are smart, you'd stay silent. Rraezanon does not have as much patience as I do." He said coldly, but a evil smile tugged at the edges of his thin lips. How he spoke of Rraezanon, almost made him sound like he had multiple personalities, but of course that name was of the demon pit fiend. Ever since he had started speaking to the other man, the demon had been trying to make Fehade kill the man, but, like before, he didn't want to waste the night.

"Ah yes... I forgot.." He mumbled to himself, then looked at the man again. "And, if I catch you following me, instead of slicing your throat. I may feed you to my pets." He said, this time, speaking of his felines, they would enjoy fresh meat. He nudged his horse in the sides, and got Evier to move. He would kill the man if he followed him again. He led Evier down the alley and into the street, looking ahead.

((OOC: Your post is fine ^^. Sorry if mine isn't that good...))

Cordelia Brooks - February 3, 2008 12:45 AM (GMT)
"Your a fool for even showing yourself."

A dark laugh came from her, eyes lifted to look at him since her head was bent down. He was very easy to anger... this would be a fun game to play. The color of his eyes darkened, and Cordelia almost wanted to throw her head back and laugh. People got worked up so easily, which was truly the only reason tormenting others was so fun. "I'm the fool?" she asked, keeping that masculine, quiet tone of voice. "You're the one who couldn't even hear someone follow you. For all you know, I could have stabbed you, and you never would have heard me. So tell me, boy, who is the true fool here?"

It was only honesty. He had neglected to even notice her, or so it seemed. He was so upset that she was sure he would have harmed her far earlier if he had detected her. Insults had always been her specialty, and she was even better when the person was being ignorant.

"Not your business."

"You sure about that? What, you gotta kill someone?" He sure was secretive. Whatever he had to do, it couldn't be that bad. Why couldn't he just be friendly? Cordelia was well-aware that she was being a hypocrite right now, but that was how she always was. Hypocrisy made life much more fun, and people never knew what to expect. She loved surprising people, deceiving them... it just made her feel so good!

"I will warn you once; Speak again, and I will slice your throat open."

Oh boy, now she was getting threatened! Cordelia didn't feel in danger at all. To show this, she merely looked at him with a bored expression, folding her arms over her chest. He was fun, but it was all bark and no bite. She highly doubted he wouldn't lay a hand on her, since he just didn't seem the type. "I'm speaking!" she announced, feeling the need to be utterly obnoxious.

If he came to get her, she had a sword of her own and fangs to defend herself. The thought didn't faze her at all. He could do whatever he pleased; leave, stay, talk to her, fight her - it really made no difference in the end. Cordelia could hold her own, especially against a person who was letting their emotions get the better of them. "Let's see you try to kill me."

"It is not in your place to question what business I have. If you are smart, you'd stay silent..."

She didn't care who had more patience than him. All they were were names that he could have made up. It wasn't very hard to lie. He seemed like a person who could lie easily... so it wouldn't have surprised her. "Don't question my intelligence when you don't even know me. If you're smart, you'd know it isn't very polite to judge others." More and more hypocritical statements were falling from her mouth. It didn't matter, though, as long as she could get him riled up. Her purpose in life had to be to annoy and bother others - she was sure of it. She had nothing else to do with her eternity in this place, so why not make life a living hell for everyone else while she was here?

"And, if I catch you following me, instead of slicing your throat. I may feed you to my pets."

Pets... he must have been lonely. Cordelia giggled at the thought, wishing she had said it out loud. She didn't have much of a filter to keep certain thoughts in her head and others out loud, so it was too bad she had caught herself before saying that. Oh, well, there was always next time. As he kicked his horse and started off, Cordelia followed him, knowing she might not have been smart right now.

"It just happens I'm going to the same way..." she said, attempting the innocent act.

Fehade - February 3, 2008 04:39 AM (GMT)
He grunted in anger, as he started to speak again. He glanced at the man, a cold look in his eyes. He now knew, that the man would not leave him alone, but Fehade wasn't too angry about that now, he had his ways of being evil, and cruel. He ignored what the man had said about the fool thing, not thinking it was important to answer, though, he didn't think anything of what the man said was important. Fehade stared at his left hand a moment, considering using his dark magic on the man to get rid of him, but then he may need it for his jobs, but he will be able to use them later on, he just didn't want to waste his magic on a fool like this man here, Fehade's cold gaze shifted to the walls of some buildings, where many posters were, of wanted people, the tiefling easily saw the one for Fehade. He grinned slightly, before looking at the man again.

"You sure about that? What, you gotta kill someone?"

He smirked. He never really kept it a secret, but to people he planned on killing, he would sometimes do that, but right now, he wasn't so sure he could kill this person that easy. He stayed silent once more. Once more, Rraezanon was urging and trying to bribe Fehade into killing, so, basically going berserk, but Fehade did his best to ignore it.

"Let's see you try to kill me."

He broke out into cruel laughter. "Don't tempt me. It just may be your fate." He hissed. This time his voice was cold, and slithery, the voice that often sent shivers down ones spines. He grinned cruelly towards the man, but it was unseeable in the darkness of shadows and night.

"Don't question my intelligence when you don't even know me. If you're smart, you'd know it isn't very polite to judge others."

He snorted in laughter again, then laughed more cruelly when she said polite. If it wasn't one thing he learned when living with his demonic family, it was politeness. Everyone in the family took what they wanted, judged who they wanted, thats how he was too. The closest thing to politeness he ever did was saving his sister from death, though, since then, he got worse, and more evil. Helping, and being polite was for weaklings. Though, he was helping others with jobs they needed done, but that was all for the joy of killing, and stealing, and doing whatever the hell he wanted.

This time, he knew the man was following him, even as he went out into the street on Evier, and down the way he had come from, and he passed the house Mara was in. He looked over at it as he passed, and saw the slender figure of the woman standing by a window, watching him closely, and the figure that followed him. He shook his head slightly, then looked ahead.

Well, now he had a new reason to not kill this man. If he did, the person may put up a fight, and then it would send up the cities alarms, and that would ruin everything for the tiefling, but Rraezanon ddin't care, he wanted to see bloodshed.

"Kill the human! Kill him, Fehade. Power will never be yours if you stay atop your pretty pony!" Rraezanon basically screamed in Fehades head that the tiefling bent over, and put a hand to his head, then he started spouting out curses, often saying the Rraezanon. "Damn demon! I didn't even want you." He hissed. Yes, he wanted the power, and absolutely craved for it, and wanted to kill the man, just so Rraezanon would help him get stronger with the bond the demon and he have.

Suddenly, anyone around would feel the unholy aura about, getting stronger, and it would make almost anyone uneasy. He reeled his horse around and pointed at the man.

"Then you better start going a different way." He hissed, his voice angry, and almost gruff with the anger, though, he wasn't angry with the man anymore, but with the demon that was bonded with his very soul. If anything could get darker in the night, it was the darkness swirling about the tieflings left hand. The dark magic crackled, and made strange hissing like noises. He didn't choose how the dark magic would work about him, it just seemed to choose grow around his hands, and turn darker, and crackle and such. He considered it a flaw, but it often frightened people.

He glared at her, his red eyes now bright, and almost gleamed with malice.

Esteban - February 3, 2008 05:44 AM (GMT)
Esteban was in town looking for where could have passed his friend. Sure he chad chosen to let her go but still, foolish choice that was! Even thouh he was away, his mind had only one thougth. Brooks. Where could have gone the vampiress? Was she hungry? Was that why she was in town?

Walking througth the crowd, he felt that something was wrong. Something in the air was insane. Even if was night it should not be that dark. Unless, dark magic was in use. By whom? Againts whom?

Dark magic was only good to be harmful to others. That's why he knew there would be a target. His demon instincts told him there was another demonic beeing in the area. A demon in this city? That was not a good sign at all. Not for Esteban, neither the townspeople, not even for Brooks.

He started to wanders where the uncomfortable feeeling was coming from. It led him to a small streets were he find the vampire lady and a strange and unknown man. " Brooks! What are you doing? Who...is...that?"

He saw the dark energy gathering on the hands of the tiefling. He was about to attack. He drew his dagger and reveled his white bat wings from under his cloak. This man, was somehow link to demonic forces. But how?

Cordelia Brooks - February 3, 2008 06:07 AM (GMT)
"Don't tempt me. It just may be your fate."

Still, he did nothing. She heard the words, understood the meaning... but no action was being taken. Cordelia believed she had been correct about her earlier assumption — all bark, and no bite. So far, he was boring and full of himself. The vampire was full of herself as well, but at least she was slightly intriguing. "That's not going to happen," she said. "You act all powerful... but can't even tell what I am." She was a vampire, given the promise of eternity the moment she was born. She would have that birth right, and no one was going to keep it from her.

As soon as he started laughing, Cordelia was almost tempted to just turn and walk away. He was crazy... there was no other explanation to be laughing in such a way, or to threaten every word she said with her life. Not even she was that bad; this man was simply unreasonable, irrational, and insane. There was no other excuse besides that. "You're kind of creepy, you realize that?" she said, sighing. For once, she thought she might find someone who was mean with motive, but it didn't seem she had.

"Damn demon! I didn't even want you."

Cordelia took a step back. She might have been a creature of a dark nature, but full demons who were like this had always frightened her slightly. She bit the inside of her lip, wondering if she should even be dealing with this. Half of her brain told her to be smart and run, while the other was telling her to keep pushing and make him explode.

It was a hard decision to make, both with consequences. If she did stick around, he might end up hurting her. She might have been immortal, but she wasn't entirely immune to death. Certain things would kill or injure her severely, such as a good beating... which she obviously didn't want. But she wanted to stay, watch, and torment the male. If she left, her curiosity would remain unsatisfied and she would feel like she was crawling in her skin for days afterward until she finally moved on. Decisions, decisions...

"Then why did you even bother to get the demon if you didn't want it?" Somehow, she had the feeling she might regret asking that.

"Then you better start going a different way."

His voice sent a shiver down her spine and she swallowed, looking at the ball in his hand. Now she was being ridiculous. It was only darkness... darkness that was, well, only crackling and looking dangerous... it was completely normal. "So now you're threatening me with little tricks? Get a life... I'll go wherever I please, whenever I please," Cordelia said arrogantly.

" Brooks! What are you doing? Who...is...that?"

Great, another person. She turned her head away from the tiefling to look at Esteban. She figured he might ruin her fun, but he might also save her from her own doom. Hopefully he wouldn't get in the way here. "I'm yelling at this kid for thinking he's better than me," she hissed, staring at Fehade, "and threatening me. No idea who he is, don't really care... but he's making me angry."

Fehade - February 3, 2008 07:04 PM (GMT)
"That's not going to happen, you act all powerful... but can't even tell what I am."

He smirked. "It doesn't matter what one is, I still have ways to cause pain, and suffering." He hissed, dragged out the word suffering cruelly. His eyes gleamed at the idea. Fehade had plenty of spells to choose from, to cause pain. He grinned, as he considered using Poison Cloud. He would save most of his magic, but Poison Cloud was a one that could work fine, and alarms wouldn't be up for a while, since it was a quiet spell, and all who were sleeping would never notice or hear anything.

"You're kind of creepy, you realize that?"

He smiled slightly. Creepy. Thats one way how some people described him. He didn't say anything to that, and watched him still, and his smile grew wider as he saw him step back. But when the man asked why did he get a demon, if he didn't want it, and Fehade's eyes blazed.

"One does not choose to get a infused demon. It just happens." He snapped, his eyes still blazing. Evier, sensing his anger, neighed and stomped her hoof, not liking this, even if the nightmare was used to anger, and its master. Fehade leaned towards the horses neck, and with his right hand stroked the nightmares black fur. "Easy, Evier." He mumbled, calming the horse a little, but still, he was angry. He straightened up, and Evier stayed silent, its own dark gaze watched the man.

"So now you're threatening me with little tricks? Get a life... I'll go wherever I please, whenever I please,"

Once more, the tiefling laughed. "Tricks?! You think black magic is a mere trick?" He laughed, then, a cruel look came over his entire face. "Shall we demonstrate what these mere tricks do?" He asked, and was about to use a spell, but a new person showed up, and addressed the man as "Brooks". He grinned. "Look, a volunteer." He said in his slithery voice. He ignored what the man Brooks said to the newcomer, since Fehade was about to have his own fun: Tormenting this new man.

"He's part demon." Rraezanon said in Fehade's head, and the tiefling merely grinned. "Does that matter, Rraezanon? He's a fool like this man Brooks here. Thinking he can protect himself with a stub of a weapon. A pity, though, it would be a short fight, but still worth it." Fehade spoke to Rraezanon, though he spoke out loud, so people would just assume he's talking to himself. "Your father may try punishing you for killing a demon, even if he is just part." The pit fiend spoke again. "Your the one who wants me to kill things. Now your afraid of my father punishing me? Theres nothing he can do to harm us." He said, quieter this time, then, he returned his cool gaze to the two men there.

"Now... lets play." The tiefling said, and pulled the hood of his cloak back, his strange red tinted, leathery like skin showed. His hair was still spiky, the studs of horns barely visible. He lifted his gloved left hand, the blackness still crackling with dark magic. He started muttering strange spidery words. He pointed his hand towards the new comer (Esteban) And used the spell Inflict Minor Wounds. If his spell worked, the new comer would feel a sharp pain run through his body. Fehade was eager to see how this all would turn out, all thoughts of staying under cover and doing his friends errands slipped from his mind, and the only thought that stayed, was the thought to kill.

Esteban - February 3, 2008 07:49 PM (GMT)
Look, a volunteer.

Was this guy insane or what? Avolunteer? For his magic? No thanks you. He would certainly not a toy on wich anyone could show his power. Then Esteban would fight with all his own power. If he attack Brooks, he could do it to anyone.

Does that matter, Rraezanon? He's a fool like this man Brooks here. Thinking he can protect himself with a stub of a weapon. A pity, though, it would be a short fight, but still worth it

This guy had imaginary friends now? He was talking to himself? Noh, for the skin colour this guy had. his horns everything. He had to be demon infused. Those people were the more dangerous, to gain in power they had to do what the demon wanted him to do. This time he would have no choice but to fight. He saw Fehade mumbled to himself. For sure he was somehow connected.

"Now... lets play

Play? A fight was pleasure? Ah, he only wanted bloodshed. Then so be it, if they could get rid of him, that could be a first and a good sign in power from him. "Come on Brooks, now i'm pissed off too...Ughn!" He had his eyes on the demon-linked man but the speed of the spell surprised him, he kneeled and slowly get up. The pain was surprising on the moment, and slowly fade away. But the the slash he had on the torso was a mark of the spell.

He looked at his blood dripping slowly to te ground. He did not care how, he did not care when. But he would kill this guy himself. "REALLY....PISSED OFF!!" With his wings he project himself in the air towards the tiefling his dagger ready to stab in the chest.

Cordelia Brooks - February 3, 2008 08:13 PM (GMT)
"It doesn't matter what one is, I still have ways to cause pain, and suffering."

A hum of a laugh emitted from her when he said that. Ways to cause pain and suffering... well, Cordelia did too. She had her ways of doing everything and anything. She didn't have to tell him that, though. Maybe she didn't have spells, magic, or even powers over the elements, but she had fangs and skills in getting her way. This would be very fun...

"One does not choose to get a infused demon. It just happens."

"Then maybe you should have stopped it from happening," Cordelia said with a satisfied smirk. She didn't know how people got infused with demons, but really, she didn't care. If people couldn't choose, then they should have forced themselves to be able to choose. So far, all this man was showing was that he was weak. He had talked to himself multiple times already, made empty threats, and couldn't even choose his own path. "That's pathetic, don't you think?"

"Tricks?! You think black magic is a mere trick?"

The woman snorted. "I wouldn't know, I don't bother with such trivial things." Black magic, holy magic, it didn't matter to her. It was magic all the same, and maybe it could do a variety of things, but she didn't really care. In the end, the strength of a person couldn't be defined by the amount of magic they could perform. Unfortunately, she didn't get the feeling this man right here could figure that out.

When he mentioned demonstrating his tricks on her, Cordelia opened her arms in welcome. "Let's see you try," she said. She wasn't going to go down easily, especially with the anger she had. She was a killer, a monster... and nothing else. She just had to keep telling herself the words her father had tried to instill into her to remember at all times. Too bad she only used them when she needed them.

"... Thinking he can protect himself with a stub of a weapon. A pity, though, it would be a short fight, but still worth it."

A short fight? Oh, it would be far from that. "Stop talking to your little imaginary friends and pay attention," Cordelia hissed. She should have tried to hurt him while he was busy talking to himself, but where was the fun in that? She didn't care about fighting dirty and playing by the rules; if something was enjoyable, she would do it, and attacking this guy when he wasn't looking wouldn't be very satisfying.

"Now... lets play."

"Get ready to have your blood spilled..." Cordelia said darkly, an evil, bloodthirsty glint to her eye. A manic smirk spread across her face, revealing the sharp, deadly canine teeth. In one, fluid motion, she had unsheathed her sword, watching as Esteban ran at the tiefling.

Now, in Cordelia's opinion, that hadn't been the smartest move to make. Rushing into battle without knowing what the opponent could do was a beginner's error, though she had done it many times in her life... and was about to do it herself. After all, she was used to close range, physical fighting. Just for the hell of it and for the sake of fighting, Cordelia ran at Fehade as well, aiming her sword for the arm that held the swirling black in the hand.

Fehade - February 4, 2008 12:11 AM (GMT)
They must think him a fool, and he knew that, by the way they spoke to him, how the man Brooks laughed. Fehade knew that the man doubted Fehade's power, but that would all change soon. The tiefling smiled. He acted cocky, anyone could see that, and insane. But truly, he was serious about this, being cocky was his cover up basically, it always gave others the feeling that they would win. And about being insane? If you truly knew him, you would know he was quite sane, if he never sees blood. He likes to act evil also, to strike fear into the hearts of his enemies, though, it doesn't work all the time, which is way he sometimes uses the spell cause fear, but he wouldn't use that yet, not unless he needed something to slow them down with.

He ignored all of what they side, as his right hand slid under his cloak, and unlatched the straps from his katana that hung on his side, hidden behind the cloak. He awaited their attacks, which he suspected would come soon. He glowered down at the man Brooks, as he called Fehade pathetic, and knew from right from the begining he despised the man, and the other that had showed up.

Imaginary friends. He rolled his eyes. None of them will understand if they never get infused with a demon. His hand wrapped around the hilt of the katana, ready to pull it out very soon. He watched as his spell took affect on the rogue, and Fehade couldn't help but grin insanely like, his eyes suddenly gleamed very bright at the sight of blood. then, suddenly, the half demon flew up, ad at Fehade. At the same moment, the tiefling whipped his katana out, and brought it up at the man who aimed the dagger to get him in the chest. Fehade was ready to block. He slashed his sword towards the half demons arm that held the dagger.

Then, Brooks charged forward, and he hadn't really noticed, but Evier did. The nightmare reared, so the tiefling had to concentrate on staying on, and fight the man with wings, but he was able to do both, he was used to battle when riding his horse. Suddenly, flames spewed from the nightmares mouth, and at the vampire. Right then, people would know it was a Nightmare. An intelligent horse, and evil-natured, that had the ability to breath fire. Fehade grinned. He wasn't going to be an easy opponent as they may have thought.

Esteban - February 4, 2008 01:31 AM (GMT)
Esteban was surprised by the sudden move of the demon infused. With reflex he flapped his wings to make a suddein turn in the air. He received a cut from the blade on is fore arm. the sligth pain made him lost control a bit so he fell to the ground behind the nighmare.

He saw the flame heading towards his friend. He got scared. He could not see her, the flames were too bright. How could even defeat that? It seems like this man was playing with them. Another power hungry fool.

"BROOKS!?! Are you okay? Answer me!" If something had to happen to her, he did not know what he would do. He glared at the katana weilder. He was too powerful. But he would make him suffer if he had to die. He jumped on the back of the fiery horse and aimed for the troat of the rider with his dagger.

Magnus Orion - February 5, 2008 04:13 AM (GMT)
Magnus walked out of a small tavern , the night had been quite amusing. He had been invited as a special artist to bring a little fun to he evening. Sadly his musical skills and fame where not the greatest so he didnt come out with much money. After thanking the owner, he grabed his harp and sturdy sword and started walking down the paths of the town, towards the exit that leaded towards the waterfall. His eyes where covered with his old usual cloth, the tavern lights would have awaken the curse that followed him since his childhood. Even thought it was a moonless night, he kept the rag, just by habit. Some beleived he was blind, some knew the true meaning of his illness, but in the end it did not matter as he had gotten used to sence his surroundings without the use of his sight.

As Magnus pondered the evening events, he heard screams in the distance...what could this be? he thought. Quickening his pace he started running towards what seemed to be a fight as he heard esteban scream brooks name. Upon the scene, he quickly understood what was hapening...A powerfull being, helped by his demonic steed was attacking a lady and a boy!

Without thinking for more than a moment, the adept swordsman took out his sturdy blade and prepared to help these innocents...

DornKoon - February 5, 2008 09:55 AM (GMT)
Alice sat on top of a roof, her green hear was floating in the wind as she looked down at what she noticed looked like a good fight. She had not been there for long, she was around and noticed this as she walked by when she ran on the roof to keep herself away from people. "Now letīs see how this one turns out, then we kill the winner?" the wispering voice said. Alice shook her head. "No that is not a good ide, because If one part winns it will still be more of them agains us, have we been thinking of that?"
the voice was silent for a moment, then it replied. "Oh, we might be right about that.....well then let us just watch it from here, we have nothing to do with it but it is fun to watch people kill each other..." Alice laughed, and it sounded like two people laughing at the same time.

The elven woman noticed that a new stranger was coming down the street, he pulled his sword out, the lady raised an eyebrow. "One more? Some goodhearted person coming to help.....who should we cheer on?"
"Our money on the man with the demon" the wispering voice said. "He looks evil, and we like that."

Cordelia Brooks - February 5, 2008 10:30 PM (GMT)
Fire.

Cordelia's eyes widened as the flames came toward her. Going into fire was comparable to suicide for her bloodline. Even when it was cold in the winter, she had never allowed a fire to be in her home, or anywhere near her. She never took the chance... but she hadn't known that ugly horse had been able to breathe it. Had she known, she would have run out of there immediately! She might have been stupid and stubborn, but she knew how much of a danger fire presented to her.

The flames hit her, causing her to jump back and fall in the ground, writhing there with her back arched in pain. Her sword fell from her hand, with a few locks of black hair falling over her face. Her cloak and clothes had proved to protect her a little bit, as the clothing was now charred. However, her fingers and left forearm were a bright, agonizing red and slowly turning to a milky, nauseating gray color.

Seeing it almost made her want to vomit. Cordelia closed her eyes, allowing Esteban and whoever had joined the fight to take her place. She had heard footsteps approach, and was well aware Esteban had called out to her. She wanted to stay silent and just lay there, but then he would either think she was dead or unconscious. If that was the case, she had a feeling he would want to be the hero and try to help her, which would mean he would have to touch her. There was no way she was going to let that happen.

"Do I look fine?" she snarled before a few, dark chuckles came from her throat. Cordelia was, in no way, happy. Anger was pulsing through her as little white flakes began to peel where the skin wasn't becoming gray. She grabbed her sword again in pain and forced herself to sit up, looking at the horse and the newcomer.

She couldn't care less about him. This wasn't his battle. It wasn't Esteban's, either, but he was already too far into this to be dragged out. On shaky, burned and blackening legs, the vampire stood up, her head downward but her eyes looking at Fehade and his nuisance of an animal. "I never liked animals..." she said in a vicious tone. "So why don't we just leave them out of this? You can get off your horse and we can actually fight, instead of having disgusting things like that do the work you were intended to do."

She tightened the grip on the handle of her sword, looking at him with narrowed eyes.

Fehade - February 6, 2008 12:06 AM (GMT)
Fehade saw the half-demon fall to the ground and grinned wide, but that grin vanished the moment the half-demon jumped on the back of Evier (who had stopped breathing fire now). The half-demon aimed to cut the tieflings throat, but he leaned close to Evier's neck, so the blade would miss his neck, but he felt a slight scratch on his neck, but he just welcomed the pain. He suddenly sat up right in the saddle, and rammed his elbow into the man's gut, hoping to get the man off the back of the nightmare. Evier then, bucked, to help throw the man off, and nearly threw Fehade off, but he grasped the saddle tightly.

He then heard running feet, and a sword being draw. He looked up at the new comer now, and he burned with anger as he right away knew it was related to a celestial. He despised angelic beings, and he hated being outnumbered. He turned his gaze to Mara's taken home, and still saw her watching. He won't look weak in front of her. Not with all she taught him, to make him stronger, and more powerful since he had been only sixteen and her seventeen, but she had always been working in the dark magic ways, and since she help brought him from his beatings he had received from his father, she had taught him dark magic. It was time he started using more.

He turned his sudden cold, and cruel gaze to the vampire (He just realized what she was). It was a crazed, scary look, it was the very same one his father had, and his fathers was terrifying. He watched the vampire stand, but saw the amount of damaged done to him. None of them knew who they were dealing with. His family, the Golden's, was a family full of demons, they destroyed anything they could, and kill any angelic being they could. They had a reputation. Especially now, how his own father is somewhere in Imythess, and Fehade's sisters.

Everyone knew not to mess with a Golden, even Fehade, who was banished from the family, but he still did what the rest do. He smile, a sly smile, almost like a snake. He bowed his head slightly, and then, slid out of the saddle, and landing lightly on his feet. He cocked his head towards Evier, and spoke a soft word to the nightmare, who ducked its head down, before turning and ran down the streets, and soon disappeared. He raised his katana.

"Very well, vampire. I like fighting this way anyway." He hissed. Then, quick suddenly, he lifted his left hand, the black magic crackling louder then before, and above the crackling, was the tiefling saying in incantation. The spidery words seemed to slid out of his mouth. He pointed his figure at the vampire. After saying the incantation, a bolt of negative energy shot forward, towards the vampire. "Lets play."

Cordelia Brooks - February 6, 2008 12:21 AM (GMT)
Cordelia didn't care how Esteban was fighting; she had to worry about herself right now. Some of the skin was turning black, which she knew was going to happen. She was going to have to pick it off when it was ready, since scratching at it would only make it worse. Her hand twitched as she waited for the attention to be directed at her. Really, she was such an attention seeker... and finally, it was given to her.

Fehade had slid off his horse and directed it elsewhere. To be honest, Cordelia didn't care where the horse went; she was just glad that it was gone. A satisfied smirk came on to her face when she realized he had listened to her. Now she was feeling cocky, even after being burned like that and still in absolute pain. She had learned how to deal with it, since fire and the sun produced the same reaction. If he listened to her, then that meant she might be able to control him through out the fight and force him to submit. Of course, it was all wishful thinking.

"Very well, vampire. I like fighting this way anyway."

A twisted, wicked grin spread across her face. Fighting one on one with this guy was going to be great fun! Following him had wound up being worth it after all. Now all she had to do was hope she didn't beat him in one or two moves. However... him lifting his hand disturbed and confused her slightly. It was his turn to make a move, however; Cordelia would at least be courteous.

"Lets play."

Letting him just do that had been a big mistake.

Cordelia was shot back by the bolt, her sword clattering to the ground before she could even do anything with it. She fell to the ground on her side in a heap, her back bent slightly with her right leg tucked under the left. Her arms laid on the ground, extended in front of her. The vampire coughed, beginning to feel weaker and weaker. The pain from the burns began to become more and more intense as more and more of her skin became that charcoal color.

"Bastard..." the woman said weakly under her breath, her chest heaving as she tried to keep her eyes open. But, really, it was no use; not after all the damage she had taken. Cordelia's eyelids became too heavy and the pain became far too great for her to stay awake, and so, went unconscious.

Esteban - February 6, 2008 01:02 AM (GMT)
The half demon blocked the blow given by Fehade but when the nightmare bucked he could not do anything but fall and meet the ground again. He stood up ready for any incoming move from either the nightmare or the demon infused. But it's seems all the attention was given on Brooks.

"Do I look fine?"

He tried to look but his vision was blocked on the steed and its master. It was such a nuisance. At the moment the demonic swordsman got off his ugly horse, he sighed. What now? What did the guy had in mind? The nightmare charged right at him before leaving in unknown destination.

Very well, vampire. I like fighting this way anyway.

Maybe the two others liked playing this way. But Esteban was not. Not Even a bit. This guy was dangerous to evryone. If they don't get rid of hiim he would kill anyone. Abslutly anyone. He ythen looked at the sword beeing raised with the dark energy crackling around it.

Let's play

That's it they were in their games again. but when the magic bolt hitted his friend, he could no longer control himself. He felt a pulse inside of him asking to get revenge on the demonic infused to have harmed the vampiress. But his will to save her was srtronger. He dashed towards Brooks to help her while taking his dagger and aiming at Fehade's waist. He did not care about injuring him at least it made him pass througth.

Kneeling beside her, he shook her a bit. She could not go. She did not have the rigth to. He did not have a chance yet with her.He cast his healing spell palms open on her belly, a mere light spere entering the body of the vampire.

Now, the pulse was getting stronger and stronger inside of him. The pulse was familiar even if it was the first time he had it. But he knew as soon as he recognized the voice.

" Your blood...Will be hers to drink! I'll make sure of it!"

How could that be? This voice....No. He was supposed to be dead. The half-demon spread his wings and dashed towards Fehade, not allowing him to cast yet another spell.

Magnus Orion - February 6, 2008 03:34 AM (GMT)
Everything was hapening so fast, Magnus barely had the time to react. Taking off his cloth, he could now not only sence what was going on, he could actualy see what was hapening...

Hmmm, a half demon and a vampire...but the demon they are fighting...he is truly evil, and i could not allow myself to let these people die by the hands of such a creature...

Magnus saw Esteban get in a rage beyond anything he had seen before.
This boy must have some kind of relation with the vampire woman of some sorte, as his reaction was great.

That is when magnus saw his chance to attack the demon, as Esteban dashed to attack one side, the half-celestian spread his wings and dashe on the other side attempting to do a cross-slash with esteban.

once on the other side, ill attempt to heal the lady...

DornKoon - February 6, 2008 08:16 AM (GMT)
Alice watched the battle with a great interest and big enthusiasm, it was not everyday one saw a fight like this. "I think we where right, the one with the deamon servant is going to win this" she said to herself. "Of course, he is powerful, we can see that, yes a man of power he is, no doubt about that." the elven woman stood up and began to run, she looked for a place with a better view, then she sat down again and looked down from the roof.

The others where very cocky, they could not see the power this man had in his hands. He used the power of demons, very powerful magic, but it was nothing for Alice, her magic of the mind was would be more powerful then his in time. But at the moment it was best not to try and join up agains him, besides...why would she attack a guy that was like her in many ways, the love of suffering and pain.

((OOC: Not much I know, but still more then nothing at all))

Fehade - February 6, 2008 05:39 PM (GMT)
The tiefling laughed cruelly when his spell hit, knocking the vampire down. One down, two more to go. That'll be easy. AS the half-demon dashed by him, with his dagger out to hit the tiefling as he went, Fehade didn't really notice, until a sharp pain hit him in the waist. The half-demon went to the vampire's side, while the tiefling put his left hand to his side, where a trickle of blood fell from his side, to the ground. He lifted his hand away from the wound and stared at the crimson blood on his gloved hand, a small cruel smile playing across his face again. A shuddered ran up his spine, but not of fear, nor cold, but of eagerness. He was starting to feel giddy, wanting more blood. More and more blood to be spelt tonight, and those who fight him will be the ones to lay dead.

His dark gaze lifted to look up at the half-demon. Fehade still smiled cruelly, even as the demon ran towards him, and the other, the celestial, came at him. How familiar. This same move has been tried on him before, well, three times actually.

He held his katana in only one hand, and loosely. And with his left hand, that now hand blood on it, and the dark magic around it disappeared, the crackling gone. He slipped his hand under his cloak again, and whipped out another weapon. He moved quickly, and by the time the two enemies were on him, he was ready. He dropped to his knees and dunked a little low, so the weapons would pass over where his body was before, then he brought his now two swords up and tried to slash them both in the chest.

Then he jumped to his feet, and took long strides backwards, before anyone could attack him, he soon stopped, not too far away, and lifted his swords, ready to block, or something. His side ached, and more blood flowed, but he ignored it as best he could. Pain was a simple thing, and easily to ignore, most of the time, but it really was for him. He grew up in pain, being beaten, or some other things, and since his sixteen years, he felt more pain then one should not ever be allowed to feel.

"You should leave, celestial. I don't take kindly to your race." He hissed, as he thought of how his sister was part celestial, just and aasimar, and he hated her, and wanted her dead, to have her die a thousands deaths.

Esteban - February 6, 2008 11:50 PM (GMT)
As soon as the usual crackond sond of Fehade's magic was gone the enraged half-demon knew there was something bad about to happen. When the dagger went over the demon infused head, he flew higher but the tip of the sword slashed his abdo. He was now on the top of the nearest building.

You should leave, celestial. I don't take kindly to your race.

If the Celestian was going away, Esteban had no chance at all to win. The pulse was getting stronger inside of him. He tried to control himself. He did but barely. He saw an elf looking at the fight. If she was not helping, she might become a nuisance so he prefered ignore her.

"I don't take yours kindly either. Stop talking and fight dammit!"

He looked at the uncounsciouss vampire. Pulse. Now that was it, he did not care how strong the opponent was, he would tear it down anyway. He flapped his wings to gain un heigth. He keep going until he was out of everyone's sight.

DornKoon - February 7, 2008 07:19 AM (GMT)
Alice quickly move to the side, because it was close that Esteban would have landed right on her, the woman watched him, since it looked like he had not seen her yet. Then he took off into the sky, the sorceress calmly followed him with her eyes. That was rude I have to say She said, but it sounded like she was talking with two different voices at the same time, not a very normal thing to hear from anyone. Alice shook her head, this fight was getting more intresting by the minute but she did not want to get involved in it at the moment. She followed him untill he was gone, then she raised an eyebrow. What was he thinking of doing up there? Charge the enemie would be most common, but then the stranger could be thinking of something else.

Alice retunred to look down at the others, the lady did not look very well down there, her eyes stopped at the celestian, she shivered since she really did not like there kind, to much holy energy around him. We really hope that the dark one wins thins, because it would be a shame if that....creature would win. the wispering voice said, if people would have looked at Alice they would have heard the sound of the voice, but the elven lady did not move her mouth.

Magnus Orion - February 9, 2008 03:08 AM (GMT)
As Magnus dashed at full speed, he saw the demon take a clever position, but Magnus wasnt stupid, he himself was an adept swordsman and had guts. The man quickly analysed the positions weak spot. By weilding 2 katana's single handedly, fehade had no choice but to sacrifice the balance, and at the same time most of the strenght within the blade. Magnus saw this flaw and quickly reacted, grabing his sword with both hands as strongly as he could he readyed his blow....

"haaaaaAAAAAAAAA" The man yelled as his body aproached the demons blades...and he did something most would not understand or expect from a stranger.

Fehades blade sunk unto Magnus ribs, luckily the wound wasnt to deep because of the unbalance within the katana...But this had allowed Magnus to get very close to fehade, swinging his blade with all his might, he attempted to behead the demon with a strong blow...

Esteban - February 9, 2008 05:01 PM (GMT)
Esteban was so high that air was thin and cold. He had to push himself for the highest limits he could he made a u-turn in the air and went down to the fight scene. Help with gravity ad air to hlp him gained speed he pass down the clouds and recognize the city, and wich part he was in.

Hoping for Brooks to hang on to life a bit more, he would cure her. He was her friend and friends help each other out. And who was that celestian anyway? He had to knew that Esteban was a half-demon. And maybe that brooks is a vampire, so why was he helping? He would have to thanks the stranger later for now just get rid of the demon-infused.

With the speed he had gained in the night sky, Esteban was aiming to slash the leg of the man. He did well because he was in no way able to stop and the celestian seem closely engaged on the man.

Fehade - February 9, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
After Fehade had attacked, he noticed that the half-demon went to the top of a building, the half-celestial did something the tiefling did not expect. The celestial let Fehade's katana stab him. He didn't have much time to react till the blade of the enemy came straight at his head, to behead him. One thing he could do, was stab the blade further into the man, and twist the blade, which could cause the celestial to drop his blade or something, it would shoot a pain throughout his body, he knew, or Fehade could withdraw the blade, and get out of the way of the blade. Stabbing the blade in further, was a risk, especially with a celestial attacking him. He knows how celestials are.

So, he quickly brought his blade out of the mans ribs, but instead of trying to get away, he brought up his other sword, the sword of Drainage, and slammed the blade of his sword against the oncoming one towards his head. He stopped the celestials blade in its tracks, with his own blade against it.

He lifted his katana then, that now had blood on it, he slashed at the celestial, hoping to draw more blood.

Right then, the half-demon came back... fast. No time to react, Fehade knew, and knew he would receive more wounds. He felt the cold steel of a blade slashing across his right leg. He grunted in pain, and fell instantly to his knees. This wasn't good for him, luck had been on his side, but it betrayed him, and gave the fools the better chance of winning. Now he did regret letting Evier go, and not bringing Nzalalih or Rozpalsariel with him.

His blood continued to fall to the ground, and the pain still seared throughout his body, and his blades dropped to the ground, but he still held onto them.

"Your weak, tiefling. Just like your sisters. No wonder your father treats you the way he does. You deserve it for your weakness." Rraezanon sneered. Fehade twitch a little at the cruel words. He didn't think his sisters weak, nor strong, but that didn't matter right now. "Not weak! Not weak!" Fehade basically screamed. He struggled to his feet, letting his blood pour. His unholy aura suddenly seemed to explode into life, making it stronger then ever. He sheathed his sword of Drainage, and made a quick movement with his hand, and mumble a short word. Dark, shimmering spirits floating about, then came over Fehade, and turning into a ghastly armor, that was black, and shimmering. It protects him like armor, and will cause fear to anyone whose good aligned.

"No more playing around." He hissed. His voice so cold, and full of cruelness. His breathing became faster, mainly due to his anger he felt.

Esteban - February 9, 2008 10:16 PM (GMT)
Esteban grinned when the blade of his dagger met the flesh of the tiefling. He landed right next to the vampiress and opened her mouth, making her drink the unhly blood of Fehade. This still would not do. He slit his wrist and made her drink more demonic blood. After getting slightly dizzy, he knew that should do it.

Not weak! Not weak

He let the demon infused getting his own idea if whats weak and what is not. And now that he had injured his opponent, the truth was out. He cast an healing spell on himself getting rid of most of his injuries. Only a fresh scar of the spell FEhade had unleashed on him had left his mark.

He let the man cast whatever he wanted, he would still be outmatch. Strangely, he realized that he was making a good team attack with the celestian without even knowing him ir talking to him. But when he turn to see his foe what he was up to, he was wrapped in a strange armor made of shadows.

What was this magic? Why was he still fighting? Even if he was powerful a two againts one was still out of control. Cold shivers was stilll passing in Esteban. What now? He shook his head trying to pass over the strange fear that was now taking control of him.

But with no success, his dagger was shaking in his hand, his legs were shaking too. Why now? Why were they scared now? This guy was injured and yet now that he is mad, he is way much scarier.

Cordelia Brooks - February 9, 2008 10:50 PM (GMT)
After falling unconscious, Cordelia had obviously been unable to tell what was going on. Esteban had tried to heal her, which didn't do very much. Some of the less intense burns had been healed, but she was still out cold, and her skin was still dying and therefore slowly turning into that disgusting black color. This was the first actual peaceful rest she'd had in a few days, so even if she was going to be extremely angry when she awoke, she'd at least be grateful she had gotten the sleep. She'd never admit that, of course.

None of the voices or action reached her. However, the one thing that could never escape her was the beautiful, sweet, metallic smell of blood. It wasn't enough to wake her up, but it was enough to make Cordelia twitch slightly. She was going to be weak for a long time, but the good thing was that she was undead. It would take a bit more than a simple spell to end her.

Bit by bit, red drops fell onto her lips. As soon as the taste hit her tongue, Cordelia's eyes sprang open hungrily, not caring where it came from. She couldn't see anything, only hear, taste, and feel... and right now, her whole world was revolving around those little drops of life that sustained her. The thirst was a lot stronger than questions of right and wrong, so it didn't matter where it had come from. It didn't taste entirely human, seeming much darker, but that didn't take away any of the strength it would give her or any of the beauty. A more steady stream came soon after, and she wanted so desperately to reach to wherever it was coming from and just pull the body down to have easier access. Sadly, she couldn't in her condition.

The supply was gone after a moment though, causing the vampire to whimper. Her blurred vision finally came into focus and she was able to see that it had been Esteban who had given her blood. Furrowing her brows, Cordelia simply watched as he went back to Fehade. She knew there had been something not entirely human about that blood, even if it was still delicious. Why had he done that? They didn't know each other very well at all... but it was compassionate of him. Stupid, since she could have pulled him down and killed him... but compassionate.

The blood soon started going through her veins, returning a little bit of strength to her. The feeling of power never came, though, since it hadn't been enough and she hadn't killed herself. She was a predator, and while she was grateful Esteban had helped her, she enjoyed taking victims by herself. The black skin began to flake just a little bit, but it was going to take a very long time and multiple kills to return it too the marble white it used to be. As soon as she felt she could, the woman pushed herself up into a sitting position, her arms trembling as she did so. "Do you two not realize how easy it would be to just get out of here now?" she said, her voice raspy.

Even if she had started this fight, she was smart enough to realize when it was time to end something.

This fight was fun to watch, and it looked like those other weirdos was not that weak as one could have thought. They where putting up a pretty good fight agains the dark one. We should give a hand here, donīt you think? the voice said. Alice thought for a moment, then she shook her head. We have nothing to do with this, no reason for us to join and be killed. Did we think about that?
We might be right about that, then letīs just watch this and see how it turns out

Esteban - February 10, 2008 05:42 PM (GMT)
Do you two not realize how easy it would be to just get out of here now?

The half-demon turned around to stared at Brooks. She had recovered quicker then he thougth she would. But she still was too weak to fight. He could see that a few amount of blood could restore faster then magic, on a vampire.

The pulse faded away. He took the vampiress in his arms and start to fly. He looked at the misterious Celestian and yelled at him. " Stop fighting this guy, we will be able to take him down another day."

Brooks was light so easy to carry. He was really happy to see her better. But she will still need blood. Thouh he could not allow her to take blood of innocent. Criminals, thives bandits, assasin; those kinds of people.

But for now they needed to rest before everything. If only the celestian swordsman was following them now.

Magnus Orion - February 10, 2008 08:00 PM (GMT)
As fehade took out his blade, it delt a lot of internal damage to the celestial. Magnus almost droped his sword, but quickly tightened his grip when fehade struck again. The blades clashed together, making a loud noise. The demon was stronger, but suddenly Magnus pushed Fehade back as esteban slashed the man.

Magus stared in awe as the dark armor started doing its fear effect on him, but he was a man with guts and stood his ground. the blood slowly driped down to the ground.

suddenly the demon and vampire took flight as esteban called to him...realising his position, magnus decided to leave with them

making a quick <<salute>> to fehade, he took flight while letting out a "see you later!"

as magnus aproached esteban, it was clear that the loss of blood was gravely affecting him

DornKoon - February 10, 2008 10:04 PM (GMT)
Oh look they are running away, what party bustersThe wispering voice said, Alice shook her head. Then she looked down on the dark magican that was still there on the ground. But it sure was fun to watch she laughed and it sounded like it was two people laughing at the same time, one with a normal girlish voice and the other with a wispering evil voice, she looked up after Esteban and the others to see where they had gone to. Not that she cared about it.

Fehade - February 11, 2008 02:35 AM (GMT)
He watched with his cold gaze as the demon gave the vampire blood, then a smirk played over his face, once the half-demon returned to the battle, well, it seemed to have stopped, much to his disappointment, but he was absolutely glad when he saw the half-demon start shaking with fear. His gaze went over to the half-celestial, who didn't seem frightened by the affect of the spell. Oh well. He raised his katana, and went into a fighting stance, even if his leg still burned with pain, and he grimaced slightly, but refused to show anymore sign of weakness. He refused to let himself think he is weak. He would never admit such a thing, since he wasn't weak, he was quite strong.

He looked at the vampire, who he hadn't paid attention too, until he heard its voice. Run away? He was angered by that. He wanted to fight! And to kill them. Spill their blood. Make them suffer. And the vampire suggests to run. He glared as the half-demon went to the vampire and picked him up, and then flew out into the sky. He shuddered with anger. Another day. He would cherish when that day comes, and he bet that the he would be much, much stronger.

Then the celestial left, and he glared after the demon and celestial. When they were gone, Fehade growled in his throat, then turned to look where Evier had disappeared, then whistled sharply, the noise piercing through the air. He bent over, rested his hand on his leg where the blood poured from a gash. He mumbled a few word, and there was a flash of blue light, and the gash stopped bleeding, and starting to close, but only a little. Right then, Evier galloped around the corner, stopping at Fehade's side. He climbed upon the horses back, resting in the saddle. He bent forward, taking in deep breathes.

"No time to rest. Still have a job to complete." He mumbled. He then looked up, at the roofs, noticing for the first time, that he felt like he was being watched, but he couldn't see anything or anyone up there.

DornKoon - February 11, 2008 09:22 AM (GMT)
Alice quickly moved away when she noticed that the man was going to look her way. "That was close" she muttered to herself, she did not know why she should be afraid of him, she had not done anything, but of course it was the fact the he was more powerful then her.
Letīs not be like that now, this is a good time to make a powerful ally on our side The voice said,

Alice swollowed, well it would not be to harmful, she could just run if thing did not go the right way. She quickly stood up and jumped down from the roof so that she landed some meters away from Fehade. "I have to say that was a show I will not forget" she said and lowered her hood, showing her green hair and her sparkling green eyes. She looked the stranger right into the eyes. "Not many these day has that kind of power."

Cordelia Brooks - February 11, 2008 11:40 PM (GMT)
Before she knew it, a pair of arms had scooped her up. Cordelia yelped, looking at Esteban with a look of mortified shock. Immediately her cheeks flushed and she looked away, but as soon as they were airborne, she couldn't help but scramble to get closer to him. The vampire wrapped her legs around his waist as tightly as she could without fear of cutting off his circulation, her long, burnt arms finding their way around his neck and shoulders. Of course, due to this closeness, her chest was against his — but she looked away from him, completely embarrassed beyond belief.

Besides, if she put her head anywhere else, she was afraid she might bite him.

As they continued upward, Cordelia scrambled again, forcing herself to look up instead of down. She finally just shut her eyes before looking down, a scream building in her throat. "PUT ME DOWN!" Cordelia shrieked, her fingernails digging into Esteban's shoulders. "I swear, I'm okay! I'm a big girl! I'm okay, I'm okay, just stop flying and put me down!"

She was begging by now and she quickly buried her face into Esteban's collar bone, having no other choice. Even if his heart was pounding into her ears, it was better than having to see how far above the ground they were. It was terrible being this close to another person, especially when she was in such a weak state, but it looked like she would just have to deal with it.

Esteban - February 11, 2008 11:53 PM (GMT)
He smiled abit when she flushed. It's seemed she was not that heartless. When she clinged on him it was a kind of good feeling. He never felt a woman, of whatever race she could, beeing so tight on him. He shook his head he knew that it was forced anyway. But still, the way she looked embarrassed was cute.

I swear, I'm okay! I'm a big girl! I'm okay, I'm okay, just stop flying and put me down!

"Stop lying. You don't seem okay at all. You would ahve been able to break out of that hold if you were."

When she put her in his neck, he was not scared that she bites, strangely he trusted her. And now that he saw that, he knew why. Esteban would trust her even more. " Don't worry i won't let you down..." The last word slipped from his mouth, he almost hoped that she did not hear him. "...never"

With a quick turn, he headed towards the waterfall. They needed recovery.

Fehade - February 13, 2008 12:33 AM (GMT)
Finally he looked away, and rubbed his side, where the blood came slowly. He was going to kill those three if he met them again, and he was sure he would, he wouldn't be as weak as he was tonight. He had a lot to do, he had to practice. Since tonight, he now believed he needed to be stronger, needed more power, more and more. He wanted it, needed it. Rraezanon even told Fehade he needed more power. So he was craving power now. his head shot up when he heard someone land on the ground not too far from him, and his red eyes grew darker.

"I have to say that was a show I will not forget"

"Nice to know we had a audience." He mumbled sarcastically to himself, while glowering down at the girl. His had stayed on his side where some blood still came, but it soon stopped now, while his other hand resed on his katana.

"Not many these day has that kind of power."

"Hmm. Maybe not. But I still need more. What I have isn't even half of all the dark power that is out there in the world." Fehade said, sounding annoyed. He looked at the girl still then gripped the reins tighter. "No time to chat now, girl. Go back where you come from before I decide to kill something." He said, mainly meaning in killing something, as in killing her. He wasn't in the best of moods at the moment, and didn't want to beheld up from his job any longer.

DornKoon - February 13, 2008 06:11 PM (GMT)
Alice laughed. "Well I will go" she said, but it was the other voice speaking, the wispering one, but the odd thing was that the elven lady was not moving her mouth when she spoke, the voice came out of thin air. She tunred around and began to walk away. "I am not afraid to die dark one, all things will die sooner or later, not even a god will live forever, but I think you should do something about that wound, donīt want to die to soon." She giggled lowly to herself as she walked.

Fehade - February 16, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
"Well I will go"

Fehade stared at the girl, his gaze cold, and unwavering. He noticed that her lips did not move as she spoke, and he was slightly curious about that, but he didn't feel like asking questions, it'd just get him in a sour mood, since he didn't think this person would answer straightly, and because daylight could be coming in a matter of hours, and he had yet to finish his job. Kill the wizard. Take the scales. Give them to Mara, those thoughts running through his head, but his curiosity was getting to him. His eyes shifted to the house where Mara stayed, but there were no longer any lights in there, and he couldn't see the mage. Shaking his head, he convinced himself his job had to come first.

"I am not afraid to die dark one, all things will die sooner or later, not even a god will live forever, but I think you should do something about that wound, donīt want to die to soon."

The edge of his mouth twitched in anger, mainly about what she said of the wound he had. It was pretty deep, but he didn't think he could die from it, but then again, he was losing blood. He mumbled a few more words of magic, and there was the same flash of blue light, and then the wound healed a little, not much, but it stopped all the blood flow, and closed some.

He looked up at the girl again, when she giggled to herself. She's insane. He thought. It sort of reminded him of his half-sister who was crazy, Zehavya often laughed for no reason, and talked oddly. He shook his head, ridding himself of those thoughts. He turned his horse and went in the opposite direction of the girl. He wasn't going to waste his time with thoughts of his half-sister, or this insane girl here.

DornKoon - February 16, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
Alice suddenly stopped and turned around again, looking at Fehad. She noticed that he looked pretty angry. Oh Iīm sorry, did not meen to upset you or anything she was talking normaly now and he mouth was moving when she talked. Once in a while I have a hard time to control my....well what should I call it? ....my inner mind, hard thing to deal with the mind. So close but then so far off. No wounder there are so many crazy people around the world these days she giggled again. she watched him when he healed himself, she tilted her head a little to the side. [COLOR=blue]I guess I was wrong about the medic, it looks like you can do that yourself pretty well. Mind if I ask what magic you where using to do that? Just curios.

That magic could be of good use to us sometime, who know. We better try and learn it. the voice said inside of her head, not outside this time. That is so true, we could not have said it any better.
