Nightwind - January 14, 2008 04:31 AM (GMT)
The horses hoofs pounded on flat ground, towards the home of the dragon Savarkael Nightwind. The small palace stood there, grand and beautiful, mostly made of marble, though, the stables on the side of the house was made of sturdy wood. Sava, herself rode the horse. She sat bent over, her head near the horses neck, wishing that Jenna would go faster, but she figured it best not to pressure the horse, since they had been riding for a few hours now, though, slower, now, Sava had urged the horse into a full gallop, so she would reach home soon.

Sava had come from Cascadia, where she got involved in a quest to the Dragonspine mountains. She was a bit happy about that, and the fact that there would be treasures involved with it, and as it was before, all dragons are somewhat greedy, though, she kept her greed down, and never really cared for treasure, but she just couldn't resist this. It was adventure, and it had been a long time since she was on a good quest, her last one, she could barely remember, it was the time she had come to Imythess, she believed, and since arriving, she hasn't had any good big adventures, but plenty of little ones.

Soon, they reached the house, and Sava pulled the horse to a stop. She slid off the saddle, and felt rather stiff. She groaned slightly, mainly in annoyance, though, no real reason. She slipped the reins over the horses head, then started walking to the stables, leading Jenna into the small place, and took her into a stall, where the dragon woman then took the saddle and bridle from the horse, and put the things away in the corner where they go. She then left the stables, and into the house, where Felix greeted her, seeming very happy to see her. She smiled, but walked on down the small hall, and then into the large room with all the decorations and couches and such.

"Mistress, thank the gods your fine. Me and the others were getting worried." Anna said, walking from the kitchen, where the smell of delicious food came from, and Sava just noticed how hungry she really was. She smiled at the head maid of the house in a friendly way. She had hired the servants and learned to trust them, as them her, so, they knew that Sava was a dragon, and they swore not to tell anyone. It was amazing, a little, how the servants didn't mind really.

"I'm fine, Anna. I just had things to do, and had to stay a bit later for a... discussion of a quest." Sava said, and yawned, hiding it behind her hand. "So, I'm going to be going on this quest. I don't know how long it will take, but it will be your job to keep this place in order." She said, and stared intensely at Anna a moment who smiled, and nodded, in a obeying way.

"Of course, M'lady. You can trust me to keep all in order." She said, and bowed slightly. Sava smiled, then took her leather bracers off her wrists, then Anna helped take all the leather armor off, then afterwards, the maid took all the things to Sava's room. The dragon woman walked into the kitchen, plucking at the fraying sleeves of her tunic. She wandered over to the cooking fireplace, and wondered what was in the pot. There was a noise of something jumping lightly unto the table, and Sava turned sharply on her heels, and saw a black cat there, walking to the middle of the table where bread was set out.

"Arch! Down." Snapped Sava, and shoed the cat off the table and away.
