Kyrus sat on a tree stump near the Lake, he had taken his wife Aris off on an adventure and he knew htat she would love this place. He wanted his beloved Aris to see all the truly beautiful places of Imythess and he was looking forward to travelling with her. He sang softly as he waited for her to catch up with him, he sang a love song which he had begun composing just for her.

Aris easily caught up with Kyrus and stood next to him. She was breathless as she stared out into the lake. "So beautiful" she said softly, easily feeling herself becoming by the peacefullness of it. She walked down a few steps to sit by the lake, breathing in its wonderful scent.

Kyrus got up and sat down at her side "I knew you would love it my love," he said softly "it is one of the many beautiful places in Imythess, although it is no way near as beautiful as you are my sweet." He placed a soft kiss on her cheek and slipped his arm about her waist, together they just sat and looked out across the lake.

Aris smiled softly at the kiss on her cheek and rested her head on his shoulder. She sighed happily and closed her eyes. "I am sure there are things more beautiful then me my love" she said softly .

Kyrus smiled at her lovingly "Other things more beautiful than you? I have yet to see anything and I doubt there is, you are truly the most beautiful woman these eyes have ever seen. I am so lucky to be with you," he said and kissed her softly on the lips "I am so glad we found each other again. I am so happy that we are together again after all these years."

Aris smiled and lifted her head up, her blue eyes meeting his and kissed him back softly "So am I love" she said softly, laying her head against his chest gently "But I still wonder my love, after all these years, you haven't grown fond of any others besides Xenith?" she asked "Tell me honestly love, I won't be mad"

Kyrus smiled at her kindly "No my love, you are the only woman I have ever loved. There are no others I have grown to feel anything for besides you," he said honestly and truly "You are the only woman for me," he said and kissed her softly on the cheek lovingly "You are the only one I could ever and will ever love."

Aris smiled, happy to hear his answer. Even if he did like someone else she could not blame him, it has been years since they have last been with each other, and even she thought he could have been dead, but she always kept hope "I am glad and a little relieved to hear you say that my love" which was true, her heart would have been a little crushed if he did fall for another.

Kyrus smiled at her lovingly and placed a kiss on her cheek, he seemed to understand her completely and put all her fears to rest "Me fall for another? Never! There is no one and I mean no one whom I could ever love more than you my darling. You are the only one for me, that is why I married you, you are the one I want to spend the rest of my immortal life with." He kissed her softly on the lips "I'll admit that Xenith is quite attractive but no way near as attractive as you are my sweet. You are the most beautiful woman these eyes have ever beheld and my heart will always be yours," he said getting rid of all her fears "I am loyal only to you and I love only you with all my heart."

Aris was even more glad to hear that. Words couldn't express how she felt about what he said, so she sat up and faced him. Wrapping her elegant arms around his neck, she placed a soft yet passionate kiss onto his lips. She kissed him with all of her love and passion that she had for him. Words couldn't describe this perfect moment, she was back with her love, and that made her all the more happier that he still did truly love her and no one else.

Kyrus looked at her as she kissed him and smiled "My love, there was another whom I had feelings for, I forgot temporially. There is a woman named Shadeen, I was in love with her for awhile back, but she broke my heart Aris," he explained "there..there was another. I thought you were dead Aris, I waited for years, more years than I can count but now that you are back I love only you, my love for you has been awoken again. I realise now that it was you I wanted not Shadeen, I was just missing you so much that I was looking for love in all the wrong places. But now you are back my heart is glad," he said and kissed her "I love you with all my heart my sweet."

Aris blinked and pulled away slightly "B..but I thought you said there was only Xenith" she said softly "Why did you lie and say there was no one else? Why did you say you were not in love with someone else?" She stood up and turned away from him. "Kyrus, what if she did return the feelings for you? Then what about me? Why did you give up on me so easily?" she asked, tears slowly streaming down her face.

She felt an ounce of betrayal shoot through her heart. She didn't think her beloved would fall in love with another woman, two if anything. Maybe that was a bit naive of her, but she always kept hope that he was out there still alive. She sighed and kept her distance from him for now. Was this Shadeen pretty? How could he have fallen for another? Was she even of their race? Or human? What did this Shadeen person have that made her husband fall in love with her so fast. How long ago after this whole battle did he fall in love with her?

All these questions swam through her head. Finally able to speak, she spoke to him, but did not look at him "Kyrus, how long ago was this?" she asked softly, but her voice showed how hurt she was. "How long did you even attempt to look for me?" she asked, tears steadly streaming down her face. "If she didn't break her heart, would be with her now instead of here with me? Are there any others that you haven't told me about besides these two? Anything else you have been lying to me about?" she asked, her voice slowly growing angry.

Kyrus got up and went after her and went to her, he put his arms around her "Love, I am sorry. I never gave up hope Aris, I spent all my days searching and longing for you my love," he said and kissed her softly on the back of the neck "I did not lie to you my love, I just forgot, this is not recent it was some time ago. I searched for you for centuries, for longer than centuries. If she hadn't broken my heart nothing would have changed my love, her and I were not destined to be together it would not have worked out. She only ever cared for me as a friend, and you are the one I want, the only one I could ever want and care for," he turned her to face him "Aris you have to believe me, i only love you. Shadeen is no way near as beautiful as you are. No love there are no others and the truth is I never loved Shadeen, not truly, it was you my heart ached for you I wanted above all others. I thought I loved her...but something happened, she was playing me all along, she was really just using me to make the guy she really liked jealous. Believe me she has no feelings for me and I have none for her."

Aris couldn't move away from him and just stood there sobbing. "Kyrus" was all she said and sobbed into him. She wanted to be mad at him but can never be mad at him for long. She wanted to say how she felt, but all the words wouldn't come out, instead sobbing took its place. "I....don't....understand....why" was all she managed to get out.

She was more disappointed than hurt. She thought that no matter what he would wait for her, she thought they had a bond strong enough that they could tell if they were still alive, but she guessed she was wrong.

She glanced up at him, and stared into his eyes, clearly her anger had ceased but her pain was still there. "K..Kyrus" she whispered, feeling all over her pain slowly ceasing as well "Tell me again, what you told me when you asked me to marry you" she said

Kyrus just stood there and held her to him, let her tears fall on his clothes "My love when i asked you to marry me, I said that you would always be the only one for me, that there would never be another," he said and kissed her softly on the cheek "My love, I may have had temporary feelings for others but my heart beats only for you my darling. I realise now that I never truly loved Shadeen, I wanted you, my heart ached for you. Without you I am nothing my heart, to show you how much you mean to me I brought you this," he said and held out a small package to her with a rose strapped to its front. Inside the package was a a beautiful ring, which her birth stone set in it.

Aris smiled a little at the words he spoke. She was truly glad that he remembered it, and that made her heart leap again. "You remembered" she said softly, a hint of happiness could be heard in her voice. She glanced down at the package and smiled softly.

Wiping her tears away she took the package and opened it. A shocked look came across her face as she saw the ring. "Oh Kyrus" she smiled and jumped into his arms once more. "Oh my love, I can never be mad at you for long" she said softly into his ear.

"Thank you, I love it" she said finally pulling back and slipping the ring onto her finger. She held it out and stared at how beautiful it was. The sun hit the stone just right, making it shine and sparkle.

Kyrus held her tight and kissed her "Oh my love I am so glad you like it," he said softly "I just wanted to do something to show you how much you meant to me my one true love," he said. He held her in his arms and kissed her again "I love you and only you, I will always love you. Always and forever." He smiled as she slipped the ring on her finger and admired how it sparkled in the light "I got that especially for you my darling, it just leapt out at me."

Aris was overwhelmed again with such joyous emotions. She smiled at her love, her tears now gone. "I like when things leap out at you" she chuckled lightly. Material things never really mattered much to her. Being with Kyrus again was all she needed. Happily she broke away and ran down towards the lake. She walked into the lake and turned to face him "Come in love" she said waving him over.

She enjoyed the water alot, and that is what most people admire her for. She can she the little things for what they really are and see their beauty. She always had loved the water, and she enjoyed sharing it with Kyrus, even when they first met, she wanted to share her passion with the person she loves

Kyrus laughed and ran down to the water after her "I am coming my love," he called and splashed into the water at her side and took her in his arms amongst the water "I would follow you to the ends of the earth my love." He kissed her and swung her about with him in a dance amongst the water. "I want us to share everything together my love, I want to spend every moment with you my sweet." He kissed her again and hugged her to him "I love you so much."

Aris smiled happily as he swung her and danced with her in the water. "I love you too and we will, for the rest of our days my love, we will always be together" she said happily. She held onto him gently and kissed his lips softly.

Kyrus swung her around in a loving dance, he kissed her again and his eyes sparkled with delight as the water flicked off her and sparkled in the sun like little gems "You are so beautiful my sweet, more beautiful than anything else in Imythess," he said his voice thick with love for her. He nodded in agreement to her "Yes my one true love, for the rest of our immortal lives we will be together, nothing will ever part us again, of that I promise you. I will always be at your side and my heart belongs only to you," he said and kissed her with all the love and passion he could muster.

Aris giggled softly when he swung her around. She kissed him back again, her eyes filled with happiness. "Kyrus if you continue to call me beautiful, you will make me blush" she smiled. She kissed him back with everything in her. She loved her so much, she would show it in any way she could. She broke the kiss and stared into his eyes lovingly, then a thought occured in her mind "Kyrus my love, what did you think when you first laid eyes on me?" she asked curiously

Kyrus smiled broadly at her as they danced and he kissed her again "What did I think when I first met you my love," he smiled "I thought that you were the prettiest thing that I had ever seen, that I had to talk to you otherwise I might never get the chance and oh how glad I am that I did, for you are the greatest love that this elf could ever know." He swung her about and held his beloved to him "I never want to parted from you again."

Aris smiled shaking her head lightly "Oh I'm sure there are prettier ones than me, even back then" she smiled, giggling again as he swung her once more. "Well you will never be parted from me again my love" she said reassuringly "But what did make you choose me out of all the others that wanted you?" she asked curiously. In truth, she did not know why he did choose her, but she was glad he did. She wouldnt be happier with anyone else, than her love.

Kyrus smiled at her and swung her around one more time "Yes, we will always be together from now on my sweet," he said. When she asked him what made her choose her above all the others he smiled lovingly "because you are the most beautiful and the only one I want to be with," he replied and kissed her passionately and lovingly. He held her to him tightly and lovingly "I love you so much my sweet," he said.

Aris smiled happily and smiled back at him "I love you too my beloved" she said softly, holding onto his neck gently. She was truly happy this moment, and never want it to end. She had longed for this moment since the time they were apart. She was glad to be back in his arms once more

Kyrus smiled warmly, he too was glad to be in his loves arms again "I missed you so much my love, I feel like I could stay like this forever. I never want it to end," he said with a happy smile and kissed. Around and around they danced in the water, in a joyous and loving dance. They were caught in each others embrace, neither wanting to part from the other.

"Me too my love" Aris replied softly, kissing him back. She giggled and smiled happily as they danced in the water. Both of their clothing were soaked, but they didn't care. They were so wrapped up in each other it didn't matter to them. She never had felt so happy as she felt this moment "Never let me go my love" she whispered to him before kissing him

Kyrus smiled and kissed her back as they danced together, he held her close in his arms and his gaze was full of love for her "Do not worry my love, I shall never let you go, never again." He was so happy, happier than he had ever been before in his immortal life. As he danced and whirled around with his wife in his arms he sighed happily "You are the only one for me, besides you there is no other. You are the only one I could ever love."

Aris continued to giggled as he danced and whirled her around "I'm glad my love" she smiled and kissed him again. Suddenly her stomach growled lightly, making Aris giggle more "It seems like my body would like some food my love. Is there a tavern near by?" she asked

Kyrus laughed and giggled with her "Yes the Purple Lantern Tavern would be the nearest," he said with a smile "I know that you will love it there love, the food and drink is exquisite." He put his arm about her waist as they walked out of the Lake together "Oh love there are just so many places to show you, and I know that you will love them," he said and kissed her on the cheek.
