Kyrus stood among the trees he loved and hummed softly as his cat Samson perched on his shoulder and purred contentedly. It had been so long since he had seen his wife Aris and his heart yearned for her more and more with each passing day. All that he remembered was that there had been a great war and that somehow they had become separated.

Aris hummed gently as she walked along the waterfall. She sat down on a near by rock and placed her bow and arrows along side of her. She stretched her feet into the cool water, and leaned back onto the palms of her hands. A cool breeze came along, blowing against her warm skin, and making her blue hair blow back, away from her elegant face. She closed her eyes, and listened to her surroundings, enjoying the sound of the waterfall. She glanced up at the sun, causing her already crystal blue eyes to sparkle even more. It was such a beautiful day, a peaceful day, one that Aris always enjoyed, plus it always took her mind off of that dreadful day she wishes she could forget.

Kyrus walked along the edge of a cool puddle and sighed sadly. He wished he could forget the events of that terrible day. When he had lost his wife, his whole life. But turning around a bend he saw someone laying down beside the water with her eyes closed, she seemed so familiar to him. Could it be? Could it be his beloved wife Aris? Whom he thought he had lost "Aris?" he asked tentatively.

Aris quickly sat up, and as an instinct she threw one of her daggers right at the person who said her name "Who is there?" she called out as she slowly stood up. Because of the glare from the sun, she wasn't able to see who it was, nor recognize the voice, but it did sound a little familar. Walking towards the man slowly she pulled out another dagger, leaving her bow and arrow back where it was. "Who are you? How do you know my name?" she asked in a stern tone as she continued to walk towards him slowly

Kyrus stepped towards her "Aris it is me Kyrus," he said as he stepped forward out of the glare of the sun and closer to her. This was a very emotional reunion for them both and once she recognised him she perhaps we run into his arms. "Remember me Aris, we are married. But then that terrible thing happened and we were separated," he looked at her his eyes wide with wonderment and pure joy. The gods had restored his beloved wife to him after he had lost her and feared her dead.

Aris blinked when the man identified himself as her husband, Kyrus "Kyrus....is it really you?" she said softly, her blue eyes finally adjusting and looked him up and down. She dropped the dagger and continued to walk over to him, stopping right in front of him. Tears swelled up in her crystal blue eyes, amazed and shocked that he was still alive. Hesitantly she brought her right hand up and gently touched his cheek "This isn't a dream? You're really here?" she asked with a shocked voice. Her tears slowly falling down her cheeks as she continued to stroke his cheek gently

Kyrus smiled every brightly and his eyes sparkled with delight as she touched his cheek softly "No my love this is not a dream. I am really here," he reached and touched her cheek as she did his. He was almost overtaken with a longing to take her in his arms and kiss her "Oh I have missed you so," he said tears of joy flowing down his face "I..I thought I had lost you."

Aris sighed softly and nuzzled her cheek into his hand. She brought her left hand up and placed it ontop of his "I have missed you too my love" she said softly to keep her voice from breaking up. "You almost did, but I managed to escape somehow" she continued, her hand cupping his cheek as her thumb wiped away the tears. "It isn't like you to cry my love"

Kyrus smiled and then drew her into his embrace "I know my love, I know. But I have just missed you so much. I..I thought you had been taken from me but it see you here before me fills my heart with more joy than it can hold," he said and rested his head on her shoulder. Tears of joy and happiness ran down his face and dripped onto her shirt "Oh thank the gods that you are here, that I am able to hold you in my arms again."

Aris was taken back a little when he drew her into his embrace, but she easily recognized his scent. She inhailed every part of him, just as she did all those years ago. She smiled softly at the feel of his tears dripping onto her dress, and shoulder. "I know my love. I have longed to be in your arms as well" she said softly to him. Her lips trailed up against his neck softly, leaving small kisses behind as her elegant arms wrapped around his body like before. She missed this feeling so much that she too was overwelmed with so many emotions that more tears began to fall down her face as well.

Kyrus smiled as she kissed his neck softly "I have missed these times so much," he said softly as he held her to him "I love you Aris," he said and drawing back slightly he kissed her full on the lips, putting all his love for her into the kiss. He held her tight and gave her a gentle, loving squeeze. He forgot all else apart from his love in his arms and the loving kiss that they were now sharing.

Aris kissed him back lovingly and deeply, putting all of her love and passion into the kiss. She broke the kiss slightly and rested her head against his "I love you too Kyrus" she whispered to him. "I never want to be apart from you again" she said softly, bringing her eyes up to meet his, staring into his eyes lovingly before kissing him again softly

Kyrus smiled "I promise you, nothing will ever separate us again," he said and put his arms around her more, oh how he was loving being in her embrace. With her in his arms he felt like he could take on anything, overcome any obstacle in his way. He kissed her again softly "We will never ever be apart again, I could not take for I never want to be apart from you again. So its a deal, we will always be together," he smiled and then kissed her again. He was loving this moment, he had missed these times so much "Wait until you see the home I bought, I know you will just love it," he said and kissed her softly on the lips.

Aris smiled at his promise, sighing happily "I will hold you to that my love" she said softly. She nuzzled into his arms gently, missing their warm embrace. She always felt everything would be ok everytime she was in his arms. She knew she was protected and loved by him, even after all these years, she was happy he still loved her. She kissed him back softly, smiling lovingly at him "Deal it is" she spoke again, kissing him back. "You bought us a home?" she asked, the excitement clearly in her voice. "Oh love, will you take me now?" she asked, anxiously wanting to see this new home of thiers. "Then there you can tell me all about your adventures"

Kyrus smiled as she kissed him back, he was glad of her excitement about seeing their new home "I know you will love it my love," he said as he put his arms around her waist "It is a lovely little place I know you will like it. I only just bought it recently, it is only a little house but there is plenty of room for us." He smiled happily as they walked along beside the Falls together, he could not stop smiling. He was just so happy that he was now back together with his beloved wife Aris.

"I do not care if it is a big house or a small house, as long as I am with you I am truly happy" Aris smiled "Hmm, so tell me what has my beloved been up to all these years? I am surprised you haven't found another companion for yourself. Then again who could resist my handsome husband. Truly I am the most luckest Elf in the lands"

Kyrus smiled and blushed softly "That is so sweet of you to say. Well people around here don't seem to like me all that much, I have made several friends but nothing more than that," he said "I mean I have met several woman but none that I saw anything with, my heart was aching too badly for you my love," he said and hugged her close as they walked "there is this one girl by the name of Xenith, she is a good friend of mine. I met her at the Docks, she is blind and a half-elf and I guess part of me took pity on her. It must be so hard living your life blind. But love do not worry I do not love her, I see her only as a friend. You are the only woman I could ever love," he said and placed a soft kiss on her cheek.

Aris chuckled softly "You always meet women rather than me" she said teasingly to him. "Hmm, you should know better than that love. Do not take pity on people, most do not want anyone's pity. Besides just because she is blind, does not mean she cannot fight for herself. There are a few I met who can easily handle themselves" she continued. "Hmm, are you sure you didn't feel something for the poor girl?" she asked

Kyrus smiled at her warmly "Yes my love, I do not love her at all. I mean I think of her as a friend but nothing more. You are the only woman I could ever love, in my heart none compare to you," he said. "But let us go to our new home, I think you shall be delighted when you see it." He smiled softly at her and placed a soft kiss on her cheek "I could only ever love you, that is why I married you," he said holding up his hand with his wedding ring on it.

Aris smiled as her heart leaped with joy at his words. She knew he was true, so she had no doubt in her mind. She held up her hand as well, showing her wedding rings she still had on her left hand. "Aww and here I thought you married me because I am the only one who could tame you" she said teasingly "But yes I would love to see our home"

Kyrus laughed "Well its partly that," he said and kissed her softly on the lips as they walked along together "but my heat beats only for you my love." He put his arms about her waist and drew her nearer to him "I am so glad that we are together again and we shall never be apart again. We will live together in our home, perhaps raise a family some day."
