Ace pointed out something about training masters not being used anymore, which is a shame because part of an amazing character is roleplaying him training and learning new skills.
So why not enforce a rule where if you are going to level up in any PrC, you need to provide a topic where your character must have a roleplay with the current training master of the PrC in question?
There are plenty of pro's to this:

• It adds a new spin to roleplaying your character, as it means you will be roleplaying them learning new skills
• It will bring back training masters
• A decent topic (In My Opinion) would last about 20 posts, 10 on each side. That's 50 Gold pieces for simply training...

I think it is an absolutly wonderful idea, but... I don't think we have enough active people to do that. AD started her traning as a Shaowdancer with Oppel. I got like two posts in that thread before I had enough gold with all my other posts to get the next level.

Like the Deities, it would require members to be active, so I'm not saying no. It's just that I don't think that we should inforce it, as AD would have never become a Shadowdancer at all with something like that.

I'm personally not in favor of making it manadatory to meet up with the training master. Paticulalry for class with a multitude of routes like archmage and infused as well as a few that I have pending. One could explained that much of this is learned form personal experimentation or training from some npcs. Still I do think training master need a bit more use to be placed in all the new prcs. Of cousre doing anything whith them would mean keeping an active training master on roster which we are quite far from with Sargoth, Oppel, Kuya, and Lomen not being very active on the site anymore. Of course Lomen could probably keep her job since she's around and might have some time to make post concerning her job.

Perhaps Adding a link to the Training master's profile in the description of the PrC might be enough to bring use to the training Master. I know Ace's has got quite a few pms about the Archmage PrC because they knew he was the Training master and one even wishes to train under his wing.

The suggestion is how it was originally planned out, but it was so impossible to make work. People like myself and Sargoth became increasingly distracted and most topics never went anywhere anyhow, probably because they were not exactly done willingly out of inspiration.

Ahhh well... worth a suggestion.
