Title: Slipping Through the Shadows
Description: [Open]

Zehavya - September 22, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
Zehavya slipped through shadows, the dark was most favored by her, she hated the sunlight, even though, she helped kill those of the dark, most could say. The dark just calmed her, gave her a feeling of hunting someone, or something. She loved to hunt things down. Who didn't? She slipped past a few guards, not wanting to chit-chat, not one of the things she liked to do. She liked action, to hunt, kill demons, thats all. And sides, talking wasn't her best thing, since she was crazy most of the times, but she doesn't really consider herself that, but the way others think her, is different.

She walked into a wide empty town square, though, this one, wasn't in the middle, it was a way off. No one was about, except one or two guards walking around. In the middle, was a fountain, with stone dragons coming from it, wings spread out, in flight. They were beautiful carvings. She always wondered how you could make such beautiful things. They were amazing.

Silently, she walked over to them, and stared into the stone eyes. She cocked her head slightly, but turned away quickly when she heard a rustling, but it turned out to be just a guard, tripping. Zehavya rolled her eyes, and slipped off into the shadows once more, wandering the streets, at the moment, nothing to do, or hunt. The night was calm, stars were out, and the moon was bright, shadows dark. She leaned against a wall of a house, in a different street, were it seemed to be the poorer part of town. There must be some sort of excitement here, maybe.

Midnight Dragoon - September 22, 2007 02:49 AM (GMT)
Kalarn had to come here, no matter how dangerous. It was futile for him to resist its calls. He had barely walked into the squares when a guard attacked him. Kalarn groaned and drew his sword. Kalarn grunted, this was an expert in fencing.

They were a twisting rope, always turning, knotting and unknotting, neither getting an advantage. Sparks flew as metal crashed against metal. Then the guard taclked him. Kalarn flipped him off, harder than he should have.

The guard flew and landed on the statue, marring its beauty. Kalarn gasped and knocked the guard on the head with his hilt. Of course the guard fell limp. Kalarn took the sword. It was a remarkable sabre, it was to be the envy of many.

Kalarn would sell the sword, later, in exchange for a barrel of Demon Ale. He suddenly "felt" the smell of a girl, able, she might be an ally. You never have enough allies in this time. He followed the scent and went to the area he was guessing she last was, when the trail vanished.

Gabara - September 22, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
Dalin walked slowly in the streets of Taras as he saw the town square. He never visited that part of town. The port city was quite huge, and he was new in town. But Dalin was determined to learn more of the port city. He was planning to stay in Taras, to stay in one place, for the first time in his life. It was necessary to know his new home, wasn't it?
But, Dalin probably shouldn't be traveling in the port city in night. Or in this abandoned section of town. Or at all...
And the few days that Dalin spent in Taras, he learned that it is not the safest place. In his first day in Taras, an undead tried to kill him and some homeless guy. (that dalin tried to steal from, but he was tring to forget of this little detail) If not for the guards - who were in fact quite useless - (the undead managed to escape because a cat and a dog were too much for the guards to handle) Dalin and the homeless were rat food.

The fourth day in Taras wasn't much better...He witnessed a fight bettwen a dragon slayer and a woman, who was a dragon in her human form. The dragon and the dragon slayer fought. The dragon-woman, whatever it is, was quite nice actuley (and slightly insane?) and it saved Daln's life. The reason it needed to be saved was because the lovely dragon slayer's horse kicked him, almost to death.
After a visit in the healing hall he was better, but he had to stay there for a day and a little to recover. And now he was in the streets again...the local inn was a place that he really wanted to spend the night at but it was too expensive for Dalin.
He had almost no money. So far, his stay in Taras was quite bad...
Dalin walked past the town square, and stopped. A beatiful fountain stood in the middle of the empty town square. He stood and admired the statue for a while.
It reminded him of his fourth day. This statue could be a demon in disguise or something. Unlikely, but in Taras...maybe.

And still, there is something nice about Taras... Dalin wasn't sure what it was. But Dalin liked it.
Ironically, Dalin thought those thoughts as he walked pass the unconscious guard that layed behind the fountain. He couldn't see him. It was dark, and the fountain blocked his line of sight to the guard. Dalin choosed to go around the fountain, but not in the path that would make him see the guard. Trouble was close, but poor Dalin didn't know that...
He slowly walked into the dark alley, back to the streets. He could see a dark figure down the alley. It wasn't rare for dubious folks to wander around this part of town. Thieves, murderers, undeads...
Dalin walked much more quietly now. He entered the shadows and attampeted to stealth pass the figure. He wasn't very skilled in that, but skilled enough to go pass some common burglar.
Just that it wasn't a common burglar...

Midnight Dragoon - September 22, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
Kalarn was furious. He hhad somehow lost the scent and he never did that. He should have some way to get a scent, the air, the ground, some article cuaght on the shingles of the roof. He wildly looked around, seaarching for some piece of clothing that would lead him onwards.

He walked forwards and a scent bombarded him. The scent of blood. He shook his head, not wanting to become berserk now. Not here. It is too dangerous to go berserk here. Then, anoother scent, it was weak, but it was something.

There was another one too, coming up behind him. Maybe it was a mugger, trying to tke his gold. Or an assassin, working for a gang whose rivals Kalarn had worked for. Well, they won't take me, he thought.

He gripped his blade as the scent grew stronger and closer and swung out, the blade right where the neck would be. Unfortunately, it was not an assassin, mugger, or otherwise. It was a person.

Zehavya - September 22, 2007 11:36 PM (GMT)
Zehavya did not know someone had been following her scent, she was busy with her own thoughts of different things, as normally. But her head perked up when she thought she heard a clash of metal. Something wasn't right about that, it was like someone was fighting. She looked behind her, but heard nothing else except that short sound. She just leaned against the building, the shadow dark around her. But ever slightly, she heard more people moving about, and soon, not far off, a half-dragon was there, as if angry about losing something, it made her smirk.

She stared at him, but shook her head slightly. He was not of any type of demon, she would not attack, unless he made the first move to. And then, a boy came around who looked like a normal human, so she wouldn't hurt him either. She sighed. She wanted some action, but oh well, she wouldn't harm anyone unless they were creatures of the abyss.

Silently, she walked to the edge of shadow, so she was quite visible. Her long red braided hair hitting her legs. Her purple eyes glancing at Kalarn, and then Dalin. A curiosity flickering.

"Who are you both? Why are you wandering about at night... its not safe." She said, though, she didn't care for their safety, she just knew not many would dare go out, only because of some troubles that could happen, even if it was a nice place, just in this part of town, wasn't the greatest.

Gabara - September 23, 2007 05:11 AM (GMT)
Whoever that person was, Dalin didn't manage to sneak pass him. The man swung his sword at Dalin, almost chopping Dalin's head off. Just before the blade hitted, Dalin managed to dodge the strike. He could almost feel the blade - it was very, very close. Whoever that person was, he was good...
Dalin jumped away from the person, landing nerbay, but far enough to draw his dagger and turn around before he will reach him. After all, such an action would take few seconds.

When he was already ready to fight, he heared a voice. "Who are you both? Why are you wandering about at night... its not safe." A woman came out from the shadows. Dalin couldn't see much of her, however. It was quite dark. But there was enough light to see that she is a woman. He looked at the two people that stood infront of him. Who are those people?
Still alerted, still with his dagger in hand, he talked.
"As for me, I am just looking for a place to sleep. Why, what are you doing out here?

Midnight Dragoon - September 23, 2007 09:39 AM (GMT)
Kalarn had seen that the person was not an assassin, and was not a mugger. Kalarn reluntantly sheathed his blade. He raised his nose, an the scent of a girl was stronger. He turned around and saw the girl.

'Who are you both? Why are you wandering about at night... its not safe.', she said. "Well, I will wander where I will!" Kalarn replied sharply. He raised his nose again, and the scent led to her!

No, the scent continued behind her. Kalarn waalked past her and took out his blade once more. He could smell it. He craved its blood. No, he shook his head and said, "Faerie Fire." The spell was directed upon a brick and Kalarn examined the brick, the scent of blood lingering on it.

He turned and started to walk, a silently as he could. But, his claws tapped the stone alley and he grimaced. He would never find the scent this way. The scent was becoming staler with every second that ticked past.

Gabara - September 23, 2007 03:25 PM (GMT)
Once again, he was just minding his own business. Why people keep hurting me? this is the third time this week... The man sheathed his sword. For some reason, the battle was over. Why? Maybe it was that girl that just showed up...Dalin was confused.

"Well, I will wander where I will!" Dalin stared at the man, though he was doubting that he was a human. He sniffed the air for some reason...Like a dog...he examined some brick and cast some spell...then he just walked away, sniffing the air...He was looking for something, Dalin knew it for sure. But what? Dalin was angry - that guy almost chopped his head off! but, he was curious. Very curious. He had to find out what that mysterious stranger is doing here.

"HI! You can't just walk away!" Dalin cried after the stranger. While he was wondering, the stranger began leaving the area. He wasn't going to let him...
"Look, maybe where you come from it's fine to swing swords at people and then the walk away, but you are not leaving without telling me why you almost killed me!"

Zehavya - September 23, 2007 05:52 PM (GMT)
"As for me, I am just looking for a place to sleep. Why, what are you doing out here? Said the human.

Then...

"Well, I will wander where I will!" The half-dragons reply was sharp, and Zehavya smirked.

She turned to the human first, to answer his own question, asking why she was out. To her, it was simple, and for him it would most likely be simple. "I am a Demon-hunter; Zehavya, and I'm out looking for some fun with demons." She answered, and giggled slightly, like it was the funnest thing ever, though, it also seemed a bit insane. She was crazy, she wasn't ever really right in the head.

She then looked at the half-dragon. "Fine, go where you like, it was a mere question." She said, also sharp. Then the half-dragon walked around casting Faerie Fire for some reason, and sniffing the air. She watched, finding it an odd thing for him to do, but oh well, there were a lot of strange people around. He starting walking about, looking for something. But right then, the one who said he was looking for a place to sleep, shouted at the half-dragon.

"HI! You can't just walk away! Look, maybe where you come from it's fine to swing swords at people and then the walk away, but you are not leaving without telling me why you almost killed me!"

Zehavya laughed silently. For a very odd reason, it was funny to her. She had seen what had happen, the half-dragon nearly killed the human, though, she knew that the half-dragon never really meant to do so, but maybe he did, maybe he was thinking the human was a assassin of some sort, the human was sneaking about.

Midnight Dragoon - September 23, 2007 09:11 PM (GMT)
The scent was taunting him. It was unresistable. Yet, he could not find it. It was like an itch in the middle of your back. No matter how had he tried, he could not find it. It was still now, dancing around him in a waltz. Resisting all attempts to catch.

'HI! You can't just walk away! Look, maybe where you come from it's fine to swing swords at people and then the walk away, but you are not leaving without telling me why you almost killed me!' Kalarn turned back a flame in his eyes.

"You question me when you act like a assassin?! Where you are from, it may be fine to sneak around people like that, but not here. Exspecially not in an alley, where so many are murdered without a chance to survive."

Damn! I'm not getting anywhere! I have to find the scent, soon, or the silencers will.

Gabara - September 25, 2007 05:59 PM (GMT)
"You question me when you act like a assassin?! Where you are from, it may be fine to sneak around people like that, but not here. Exspecially not in an alley, where so many are murdered without a chance to survive."

Dalin twisted his face in anger. Well, ya, he was sneaking around, and he pretty much knew the answer to his question before he asked it. But he hoped he will hear something about the reason that the man is here...Well, it seemed like he is going to leave now, but Dalin is going to keep him here as long as he could, until he will get an answer.

"Fair enough," Dalin said sharply, "I thought you may be a mugger or something. There are plenty of those around..." leaning back on the wall, a bit more calm, he continued. "More to the point, you said you will wander where you will, with no real reason to why you are here. Now, this is probably none of my business, but it seems like you are looking for something, and..." Dalin smiled a pretty mean smile, "I doubt that it's legal. feel free to try and slash my throat again, but I am going to keep you here until you will tell me while you are here."
Dalin crossed his hand and grinned at the man. Well, it wasn't very nice, but hell, he almost chopped his head off...

Midnight Dragoon - September 26, 2007 06:35 AM (GMT)
Kalarn laughed. It was foolish to even think of doing what this man was proposing to do. No one, ever, in the history of Imythess, had dared contain a dragon. Kalarn cracked several bones in succesion, his neck joints, his knuckles, the sound carrying over the darkness. This man had made the worst mistake possible.
Never try to contain the uncontainable.

Kalarn laughed once more, and raised his hands to form a rough surface, where purple mist conjoined. The mist was magic, and pure magic too. The magic was condensed, into several shapes it turned into, each in succesion. First, a rough cube, then a not-so-perfect sphere, and then a succesion of shapeless masses.

It would be too easy to go. He would cast it, and he would leave. But, the spell might go aray, and blind him as well. By now, the magic was making him dizzy, the influence making him feel light headed. He took apart his hands, and the mist was evaported. He smiled, and jumped over the girl's head.
Nothing can contain a dragon.

Zehavya - September 26, 2007 04:35 PM (GMT)
Zehavya walked back into the shadows, leaning on the wall once more, watching the half-dragon and human. The human angry at the half-dragon for nearly killing him, and now, the other found it amusing how the hum was going to try and keep the dragon one here until he found out what he wanted. It was a little entertaining for a bit, though, not as entertaining as trying to kill something. Now, if she was a dragon-slayer, she would have been already trying to kill the half-dragon, but seeing how she wasn't, it was boring.

Her hand resting on the greatswords hilt, ready to pull out if she needed, as it seemed she would have to if they started fighting. What was there to fight about? The man wanted answers, but it wasn't his business, even if it nearly got his head chopped off. She laughed softly, it was like children bickering over a toy.

Then, the half-dragon was working some magic. She stood up. She normally considered magic cheating, never one to like it. Then, Kalarn nearly jumped over her, though, she didn't know how, she considered herself tall. She pulled her sword out, just in case.

"Foolish human... stupid dragon..." She mumbled, and glanced into the street, a group of knights going by, and she slid her sword back into its scabbard, not wanting them to come over and question what was going on. "I suggest you all behave, don't want a fight to break out about pointless things." She said, smirking, though, no real reason to.

((OOC: Midnight Dragoon, please try to keep to the order I had tried to work out, I have to keep changing it because of people leaving no room for me to post. Here is how the order will go; Zehavya - Gabara - Midnight Dragoon. That is the order now, its the third time I had to change it. Please, follow it.))

Gabara - September 26, 2007 05:54 PM (GMT)
The stranger began casting some sort of a spell. He is going to kill me! Dalin, certain that the spell is deadly somehow, quickly pulled out his dagger, and jumped on the man. But it was too late - the stranger finished the spell, and a purple mist filled the alley. Just before the mist blinded him, he saw the stranger jumping over the woman, and heared her saying something..."I suggest you all behave, don't want a fight to break out about pointless things..." Dalin couldn't see anything now. "Well, that's a bit too late for that, isn't it?!"

Swearing, Dalin looked around wildly. He had no idea where the stranger went. He could be anywhere now...Now, it was not only curiosity that made him want to find out what he was doing here. It was the fact that this guy is going to do something, somewhere, and by the look of it, it wasn't something good.

Dalin was pretty sure that he knows the general direction that the stranger went.
With one hand holding his dagger tightly and the other streched in front of him, he blindly walked after the stranger. "You are not getting away with this!"

Midnight Dragoon - September 27, 2007 09:51 AM (GMT)
Kalarn had learned an intricate move from an old, blind man who had mopped the floor with him, and didn't break a sweat. He lured the enemy into a direction, appear behind them, with wings, this was quite easy. Then, he would preform the fatal coup-de-grace, although, the old man did not use a dangerous weapon, but a bamboo staff. None the less, it still hurt badly.

Kalarn flipped over, twirling like a drill in the air and slowed and hovered behind the man. He drew the blade, quietly, although, there was the smallest noise of a sword exiting wood. Kalarn rose the blade, his wrist preared to shift to do the coup-de-grace with a stab in the mind. But, something caught his eye, a single strand of mist floating around the girl, flitting across an area he would rather not see.

The wisp ignored her and went over to the man, a tendril floating by his face. The wisp moved to Kalarn and curled, moving in a tight curl, growing smalled with each passing second. The smallest bit of mist left touched Kalarn on the nose, and his sword fell onto the ground with a clatter.

Zehavya - September 27, 2007 02:18 PM (GMT)
She stood in the shadows, and mist stuff, not really able to see anything, but she kept looking, wondering if she could leave the alley without knocking anything over. But then, she knew she couldn't leave, she would have to stop them from fighting if they tried. Sure, she was only neutral aligned, but she tried to work on doing good things, even though, she likes inflicting pain to people, but that was something she sometimes tried to get over.

Zehavya then noticed the misty stuff was going thinner, and it was easier to see. She moved forward, standing not to far away from the human. Her purple eyes brightening slightly. Then, there was a clatter of a weapon falling to the hard ground. She twirled around seeing the half-dragon, a narrowed look on her face.

"Not very sneaky." She simply remarked, bending down and picking up the half-dragons sword, and weighing it in her hand, before taking a step back. She wondered how he would react to her taking his sword, but she didn't want a fight to break out, not tonight. What was the point for humans and half-dragons to fight? It would've been better a demon and angelic being, she liked that better, mainly because she was an Aasimar.

"And actually, human, its not to late... never to late..." She said, replying to what he had said earlier, about how it was to late to stop them fighting. She wondered what they would both do, since she took hold of the half-dragons weapon (though, he seemed to like spells), and the human still had a dagger.

Gabara - September 27, 2007 04:05 PM (GMT)
The mist faded, and finally Dalin was able to see the alley. He could see the stranger, now standing in a more lighted part of the alley. He saw that he wasn't a human at all - but some sort of...a dragon maybe?
Dalin saw a dragon recently, and the man resembled a dragon but it was clearly not one. Maybe some sort of a hybrid...Half dragon. Ya, that must be it.
The woman seemed pretty human, but Dalin doubted it. The variety of races in Taras was big, too big for Dalin...

Dalin noticed that the half dragon lost his sword. "Not very sneaky." The woman picked the sword up. Seems like she is tring to prevent a fight...Don't she get it? we are ALREADY FIGHTING!
Dalin was about to charge, to revenge the half-dragon for tring to kill him, but, then, she talked again. "And actually, human, its not to late... never to late..."
"Not too late? what are you..." Dalin then realized that she is replying what he said before. How can she still think this can go without a fight?

Dalin considered the situation. He did want to end this accident peacfully, but he couldn't see how. The half dragon was disarmed and the woman had his weapon. Now it was clear that she was not a human as she adressed him as 'human'. He could attack the half dragon, but it wouldn't be fair, would it? He was disarmed now. There was no reason to attack the woman and she will probably kill him without a blink any way. But he can't just let the half dragon get away with this!

"Fine," Dalin said bitterly, "but I am calling the guards. That guy is up for no good."

Midnight Dragoon - September 29, 2007 12:54 AM (GMT)
His wings flappiing to push him forward, he meant to say, 'Quit staring! It is not funny!'. But, he actually said, because his lips were working against him, "Quib stardin! Ix in nog bunny!" He started dancing, his legs swinging out in a strange polka.

As much as he ried, his legs were not on his command. They were doing strange things, he would not do. At that moment, a girl walked past and Kalarn rushed torwards her, trying to get back. Kalarn started to waltz with the girl, all the while protesting loudly as the girl struggled.

Kalarn's hands released her, and Kalarn continued to dance a solitary waltz. He danced around both Dalin and the girl, but, he was getting more control. At one point, he tried to grab the sword, but his wing went down, getting a cut. Wincing, Kalarn struggled to get control of his own body once again.

It took a good amount of time, Kalarn swearing the most evil, vile cruses known to man. And dolphin, but that's something totally unrelated. He finnal grabbed the sword hilt, his hands twitching as he took it back.

Zehavya - October 7, 2007 08:04 PM (GMT)
Zehavya continued to hold the sword, and smiled slightly, as if she accomplished something when the human said he would call the guards. The Demon-hunter liked that idea more then the human getting the half-dragon to kill someone. Then, an odd thing had happen, the half-dragon seemed to waltz, as if out of controlled, and he tried to control it, but from what she saw, he couldn't. He said something she didn't understand, and she cocked her head, she has never seen anything stranger then this in her laugh, it was quick funny. She stifled a laugh.

He was then, waltzing with another girl, one who was walking by, but when Kalarn released her, Zehavya was surprised how fast the girl ran. He then came around and tried to grab the sword, but she stepped away, not about to let him have, no, far from it. How could she let him have it? Once he got it, he would most likely try to attack the human, or the human attack him. She had made it unfair for them to fight by taking his weapon.

Then, he managed to grab the sword. She twisted the weapon, and kicked the half-dragon at the legs, and took several steps back, still having a tight grip on the weapon.

"You won't get the weapon back until I know you both will behave, and not try killing each other." She said, her voice stern, almost like she was scolding children. She just didn't want one of the idiots to get themselves killed in pointless arguments.

Gabara - October 8, 2007 11:32 AM (GMT)
It was the strangest thing Dalin ever saw. It was if some one took control of the half dragon some how..Or maybe he just did it to take his weapon? Or maybe he is simply crazy. Another reason to believe that he is up for no good.
Dalin stared at the woman, slightly annoyed. She is treating him as if he was a child...Well, he should call the guards now...but thinking again, what will he tell them? the half dragon didn't do any thing wrong, yet...
I gota figure out what he is doing here, then I will call the guards. They will decide what to do.

"I am not tring to kill him. And I don't know if you noticed, but I think that this guy is insane. I mean look at him! Did you see what he just did?" Dalin looked at the half dragon who was undoubtly angry at him. He was slightly afraid - he looked stronger then Dalin, though not as strong as the...Dalin just noticed now that she already said who she was. Zehavya, Demon-hunter. In his anger Dalin didn't even notice. So, now one question remains...what is that half dragon doing here?
Dalin was calmed now. That demon hunter, Zehavya, seems to handle the half dragon pretty well. All she was tring to do was to stop the fight, which means that she is on Dalin's side. Kind of. Maybe he can convince her to help him.

"Look, I can't call the guards if I have nothing to tell them. I want some answers from him, and I want them now. And, come on, don't tell me you don't want to know what he is doing here...And you," Dalin pointed his dagger at the half dragon. "Start talking. NOW."

Midnight Dragoon - October 11, 2007 03:56 AM (GMT)
"Look, I can't call the guards if I have nothing to tell them. I want some answers from him, and I want them now. And, come on, don't tell me you don't want to know what he is doing here...And you, start talking. NOW."
Kalarn heard him, and said, "You dare threaten me? Besides, would you like to get possessed by a walchin? I sincerely doubt you do." He turned to Zehavya. "And you, you attack me when I reclaim what is rightfully mine?"Kalarn said.

"This land of yours is about as civilized as a hog is clean. I am severely dissapointed. I expected this land to be better than Kalraken. It seems I was wrong." He turned back to Dalin. "You can not expect me to tell you anything if you point that fork at me, now can you? Now if you had a spell, like, oh, I don't know, this?! Fireball!" Kalarn out his hands together, and a ball of fire appeared in the middle.

He pushed it at Dalin, but it sailed past his ear, making a crackling noise the whole while. "But, you have simply your little frog-sticker." Kalarn strode close to him, and whispered in his ear, "If I wan't you dead, you would be kissing the pavement. I only keep you alive because you amuse me, with your pathetic frog-sticker." He withdrew, flinging himself back to avoid any strike.

Zehavya - October 11, 2007 03:03 PM (GMT)
Zehavya shook her head. This was silly. The human wanted answers, but what? What was he expecting the half-dragon to say? What was there to answer? The half-dragon just made a mistake of nearly killing the human. Now the human was angry. She held Kalarn's sword, tempted to just give it back, and walk away, let them kill each other over nothing, it wasn't her business. But no, she wouldn't let herself walk away, doing so, would be against what she tries to do.

"Look, I can't call the guards if I have nothing to tell them. I want some answers from him, and I want them now. And, come on, don't tell me you don't want to know what he is doing here...And you,"

Zehavya sighed. "I don't care what he is doing here. I'm still trying to figure out what you want him to say? Its like your expecting him to tell you his daily life." She said, voice seeming a bit bored.

"This land of yours is about as civilized as a hog is clean."

Then, the demon-hunter burst out laughing. "Oh, I guess its good I'm not from here." It would seem odd for her to just suddenly laugh, but her odd self found it funny. Once she recovered from her laughter, there was a crazy looking glint in her eyes. Then, the half-dragon used a spell at the human. Her eyes suddenly filled with anger. When the half-dragon withdraw, Zehavya stood infront of the human.

"This, is what I am trying to prevent by taking your sword for a temporary moment, to stop this silly argument, I guess neither of you seem quite mature enough. Though, I have to say, the second reason I'm still here, is because its amusing, watching you, and the human fight over silly things, not even I understand." She said, and handing the sword back to the half-dragon. "It seems its pointless, to try and stop a fight from breaking out, but why do I try? It never works, everyones to dumb to even notice what their doing." She said, and turned on her heel and walked out onto the street. Turned back to face them, as if waiting. She was waiting to see if they would fight, if they did, she'd go fetch the guards of the city. Her eyes gleamed a bit brighter it seemed, she was eager to see what they would do. She wasn't going to try and stop them.

Gabara - October 11, 2007 04:54 PM (GMT)
Dalin looked at the half-dragon with growing anger. He didn't just told him that he can kill him easily (which was obviously true, making it even more annoying) and called his dagger a frog sticker, he also nearly killed him. The fireball came to Dalin as a surprise, and almost burned his ear. It made a terrible sound too. The half-dragon even had the nerve to call his land 'about as civilized as a hog is clean'! But the half dragon wasn't his only problem.

Zehavya seemed to get bored with their fight, and walked away. Which means he was pretty much a dead man. He had no chance at all to defeat the half dragon, and as annoying as it was, the half dragon really was able to kill him quite easily.
Also, the demon hunter had a point. That fight was quite pointless indeed. Dalin was curious about who that man was, what he was doing here, and what is a walchin...but as the half-dragon kept talking, the impression that he was insane grew stronger. Maybe it's time to leave.

And though Dalin wasn't very good at fighting, he was pretty good at running. He might need to use that skill now...
"Fine, I am leaving," Dalin said, tring as hard as he could to stay calm. "As the demon hunter said, it's a pointless argument." Dalin left, heading for the fountain, away from the half dragon. He thought that the half dragon might try to kill him, so he said as he left "And if you feel like killing me, go ahead. I can yell for the guards before you kill me. No matter how good is that fireball of yours, it can't take down every single guard in this city."

Dalin left the area, hoping that the half-dragon isn't going to check how good is his fireball...

"And if you feel like killing me, go ahead. I can yell for the guards before you kill me. No matter how good is that fireball of yours, it can't take down every single guard in this city." Dalin had said.
Kalarn watched him leave and something clicked. He was heading towards the silencers. "Wait!!! You are going on the path to death..and...Ah, he'll figure it out eventually." He raised his nose and a scent raided his senses. The scent of death.

Kalarn stood, puzzled over the smell, his nose wandering to find the source of the stench. He found it, right where Dalin was headed. He turned to the girl, his senses failing him. Damn. The silencers must be on a bounty. They don't usually use their ability this strongly. And, that bounty could, very well, be me. Kalarn rushed past the girl, his hand ripping his sword out of hers.

He had to get away from the silencers. They could not get to him. He would not die. Not here, not now. He jumped, flying away, put he stopped, hovering, watching the girl. Waiting for the silencers. Waiting for death.

Zehavya - October 13, 2007 02:50 AM (GMT)
"As the demon hunter said, it's a pointless argument."

Her eyes gleamed brighter, and she giggled silently, though it was insane like, and sort of weird. No one, she doubted, would understand really, but she liked it, it felt like she had won something. Her eyes wandered to the human walking off, then to the half-dragon. The half-dragon knew something was wrong, suddenly, Zehavya was on alert, though, of what? She had no idea. She continued to watch the half-dragon, waiting for something. He called to the human, telling him to stop. She wondered why.

The half-dragon took to the air, and she watched him. A frown creeping on her face.

"Oy, Half-dragon, you seem to know whats wrong, what is it?" She called to him, annoyance in her strong voice. She stood still, waiting, listening. She heard nothing at all. What was the half-dragon worried about? She looked at the human, as her hand went to her great-sword Fate, then looked about.

She waited for an answer from the half-dragon.

((OOC: Eep... small post... lol))

Dalin stopped. Behind him, the half-dragon said something. In the silence of the night, Dalin managed to hear what he said. Or at least some of it. He said that Dalin was going to his death. What can that mean? It didn't sound like a threat. It was more of a warning. What, now he is worring about Dalin's life? He was insane, so no need to worry...But if he is sane, what is he tring to worry Dalin about? Maybe Dalin can finally get the answer that he wanted... Dalin turned around to look at the half dragon.

It seemed like the half dragon was panic. He ran about, flipping his wings and hovering above Zehavya. He seemed to be scared for some reason...
Assuming for a moment that he is NOT insane, Dalin approached the half-dragon, looking up to where. Zehavya already asked him what was wrong, yet Dalin thought he should be a little more specific.
"What exactly is going to kill me? What is going on here?"

"Oy, Half-dragon, you seem to know whats wrong, what is it?"
"What exactly is going to kill me? What is going on here?"
Kalarn heard both questions, but he felt that he liked the girl more. The man was too dangerous to be trusted with this type of knowledge. The silencers where with the government, funded by the consul himself. The consul, Vayne.

If the man talked to the Imperial Guards of it, he might be killed. Still, the cons outwieght the pros. He might give a "hint" of who told him of the silencers, and where that 'person' might be. Kalarn grunted, and flew down to the girl, and whispered in her ear so that Dalin would not hear it.. "The silencers are a group of assassins that work for the consul. Try not to get in their way. Woe betides the one who looks at them directly."

He turned to Dalin, already deciding what he would say to him. "As for you, all I will tell you is that you should fear the people that follow." He stopped, and shivered. He would be caught, and killed. What was the use of running. He would die anyway. He should just give himself up. It would be so easy....

Kalarn shook his head. The silencers' abilities were getting to him. He had to run. Now, before they could latch a track onto him. He flew up, and latched onto a roof, pretending to be a stone gargoyle.
