Kalius Aldura - September 16, 2007 09:18 AM (GMT)
Kalius stood barely beyond the large door, just having entered the spectacular temple's mainhall. All around him voices chattered about each group's own private conversation, the voice's respective body varied from old to young, male and female. Slowly making his way out from the door, intowards the center of the hall, He held a constant sincere smile across his boyish face. It surprised him how many smiles came back his way, rather than the more common courtesy head nod, or emotionless greeting he grew accustomed to out on the road throughout his travels.

Running a hand across his forehead, the druid felt a little, out of his element. Not unwelcomed, not by any means. In this marvelous temple he felt calm, soothed and perhaps even content. Kalius gave a slight chuckle under his breath while he quietly talked seemingly to himself. " Am i being foolish? Why do you two not believe i should feel comfortable in this place?" Reaching with his left arm into his cloak draped over his right side he gently removed one of his companions to whom he spoke to.

Tight to his chest he held a tiny, red colored, inquisitive looking kitten, no more than a few months old. Stroking the cat's soft neck, he continued to think some more to himself. Of course the druid should feel safe here, why should he not? He had after all been invited. Or at least, sort of invited. After hearing gregory's voice float past him a few days past, he felt strangely compeled to trudge across the debon plains, a walk he would normally not take.

In any case, the young man like to be invited to things, so he decided he was indeed invited. Kalius' young companion's restless movements in his arm's brought him back to the here and now, and more importantly to the water cantine around his neck that the kitten was pawing at. Embarassed, he untied the top of the old water skin to reveal a small, orange flower. Of course, this flower was his other companion to whom he spoke to earlier. " I am sorry little flower, i was lost in my thoughts" Bringing the cat towards his face for a peck on her small head he continued " At least Katiya did not forget about you."

With his whole party now present, Kalius approached an elderly man who held a curious grin upon his face. " Greetings my friend, hope you are well. I am afraid i do not know who i am to address this question to so please forgive me if you are not able to help me. We are looking for my friend Gregory Faust, We are here upon his...Invitation."

Gregory Faust - September 16, 2007 08:18 PM (GMT)
Gregory felt the presence of Kalius heading for his temple before the druid made it to the village, and he was thrilled with the prospect of seeing his friend again. Kalius was a little bit, odd, but he had the potential for strength and Gregory had plans for him to help fight for the cause. there was little question whether Kalius would help and pledge himself to Gregory, but the word 'pledge' was one that the god did not like, no matter how necessary it was. Kalius would pledge himself to the God of Light, and they would have another ally against the legions of darkness.

As the druid entered the temple, Gregory adorned himself in his newest robes. Pure white with blue bordering. A hole was open for wings, and a flap that circled his body from his abdomen to his neck hid his interlocking arms. The bottoms of the robe brushed the floor lightly, but made no noise as he left his private chambers. He stepped into the teleport stone that exited him from the celestial plane and shivered as the odd feeling of the teleportation washed over him. He took one more second to be sure he look prestigious enough for his guest, a commodity that he was sure Kalius cared little about, and he made his way down the hall adorned with paintings and light until he exited through a thick door into the entrance hall.

There stood the odd magister, talking to an elder man, a member of the Faust council who could never be caught without a smile upon his face. He asked where he could find Gregory Faust, and before the elderly man could answer, Gregory answered himself. With a few long, strides he made his way besides the elderly man and flourished a short bow to Kalius. "Good day, old friend. I am glad you have come to my temple. Please, let us go sit. We have much to talk about." He pointed a slender purple finger to a bench pushed up against the wall by the door to the hallway he had exited, and pushed the druid on the back lightly.

Kalius Aldura - September 17, 2007 12:51 AM (GMT)
Any and all tension Kalius held on his mind was quickly banished from his thoughts by the appearance of his friend. With a smile spread proudly across his face, the druid faced the gentleman to whom he asked his question and politely bowed his thanks, even though the man had not the chance to actually answer. In the young man's arms, Katiya curled into an even tighter ball of red fluff. She did not seem afraid of the new faces, but Kalius knew she was curious by her silence.
"Good day, old friend. I am glad you have come to my temple. Please, let us go sit. We have much to talk about."

In truth, The druid also felt that much conversation needed to take place and many questions needed to be asked, mostly on his part. Glancing throughout the Grand Hall, and across each face within ( all of whom appeared to hold Moon elf blood ), he knew what his first question must be. Not resisting Gregory's attempt to guide him towards the back wall, He headed toward a small, unoccupied bench.

" My friend, it is good to see you well, and even better to see you have stumbled upon good times." To go with his observation, he ran the back of his hand across Faust's shoulder, to feel the soft fabric. Thinking back on the two's first encounter, Kalius chuckled at how different his friend looked now compared to the exhausted traveler he shared a fire with.

Kalius shrugged that thought off, for he himself was much neater dressed than he was those many nights ago. Instead of Loosely fitting linen clothes he wore fine, black silk garments topped with a heavy cloak draped over his right side, and ended with dark, leather boots.

" It may be an understatement of my behalf to simply say a few things have changed in your life, so i look forward to hearing a few stories from an old friend." A slight noise rose from the bundle of fur in his arms, which made Kalius laugh,
" By the way, Kitaya Likes your dress."

Gregory Faust - October 16, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
Gregory seated himself down besides the druidic guest and leaned back, throwing his right leg over his left and folding his arms behind his head. He thought about the druid's comment and smiled lightly to himself. He had indeed fallen upon good times. He had followers, teachers, warriors and a chance at keeping the world pure, and as of right now things were going as they should be. Not to say that being a god was easy or relaxing. He was often-times healing those in need and preaching to young scholars and priests, and peaceful moments were few and far between. Even in sleep, dreams of evil purging a land in fire invaded his thoughts, and he always was forced to act quickly to kill those flames.

"There were not many stories to be told, my friend. I was walking the plains for no apparent reason, and some unknown force pushed me to become a god. I suppose I could go into more detail, but unfortunately the memories are still a bit fuzzy." Gregory dropped his legs and leaned forward to the druid, clutching some odd bundle in his arms.

"You yourself look to have fallen on some good times. Last I saw you; you were decorated in some ragged linens, dirt and leaves. I do not suppose you have found a woman to keep the potatoes from growing behind your ears?" He laughed lightly at this and looked on at the kitten held in the druid’s arms. It was a small grey kitten oddly named Kitaya, and its large green eyes spoke volumes of annoyance at having been woken up. Gregory waved at a young student walking past to fetch him a tea biscuit, and took it in his hands, breaking it up on the table.

"Let the kitten eat while we talk, eh?"

Kalius Aldura - January 14, 2008 12:39 PM (GMT)
Seeing the food placed before her, Kitaya glanced up towards Kalius. She was waiting for his approval, like always, before advancing atop the table. Chuckling, he nodded and placed her beside her offered treat. He was a little skeptical whether or not she would partake of the bread, since admittingly he had spoiled her on a diet of fresh fruit and fish. Returning his attention towards Gregory, he let out an exaggerated sigh and shrugged, all the while with a smile across his face.

" Indeed my dressing's have been a little finer as of late. Mingling with the various village people throughout the land has given me a taste for certain things."
Running his hand down the material on his chest, admiring the soft-to-the-touch feel, he added with a laugh.
" Plus, it is a little harder to impress a pretty lady looking as if I danced all night with a patch of wildflowers, and then awoke the next morning underneith an elm tree. Even though I probably done just that."
He looked towards Kitaya before resuming the chatter with Gregory, and was pleased that she was indeed enjoying the biscuit.

" Thank you, by the way, for your kindness towards her" Looking towards the kitten while he spoke " I am sure she is appreciative."

Hearing what sounded like foot steps off to the side, his curiousity got the better of him as he glanced around the hall once more. Many moon-elfs still wandered around not far from where they sat, going about there daily business as usual. Seeing so many that shared Gregory's heritage only reminded the druid of the many questions he had for his friend.

Stroking the hair on his chin, and taking on a more serious tone, he faced Gregory once more. " So. my friend, please forgive my ignorance but I have to ask...what does all this really mean." he waved his hand in front of him, then to the side " What does the title God truly mean?"

Gregory Faust - January 25, 2008 07:19 AM (GMT)
Gregory brushed away the thanks for the biscuit, as it was a trifling concern for him and his prosperous people. "My people flourish in wheat and cattle farming, and so far we are quite successful. You may stay and eat for free for as long as you like in my humble village.[color]" Gregory leaned back and nodded thanks to a young lady elf as she plopped two silver goblets down in front of both the men and left them a bottle of aged kellen wine. She waved her hand in the air and set the wine bottle in motion, pouring both goblets to the rim. With a pleasant smile she curtsied and left, leaving the two to their business.

Gregory grabbed his cup and swirled the drink around inside it. It was a thin wine, the kind he had grown accustomed to, and he thought hard on Kalius' question as he watched the wine swirl. "[color=46B0E6]I truly do not know completely what it means to be a god. I can preach about keeping the land of Imythess safe and preserving a balance, but when it boils down I know there are other tasks that I'm just not seeing. It's pretty funny how you can be a god, but in life you are still searching to widen your knowledge. All god ship does is answer basic questions and bring up more complicated ones." Gregory took a light sip of his wine and gingerly placed the goblet on the table.

"To tell you the truth, I miss some parts of my life before godliness. I miss the adrenaline of a real fight, and the hardships of the road. As a god everything is given to me and I am never challenged to combat. It's almost boring. Tell me, how has your travelling been since we last met, during the attack on the waterfall village?"

Kalius Aldura - February 4, 2008 07:59 AM (GMT)
Kalius eyed the full goblet of wine offered to him ( that is after a few glances towards the attractive, departing elf) with more than a slight grin sneaking out one side of his mouth. He did indeed enjoy a fine wine, and a hard orcish ale or rough dwarven mead for that matter, and traveling as extensivly as he had doesn't leave much time for a visit to a local pub or tavern. Not wanting to seem too eager for the drink, he casually reached out and mimicked the way gregory picked up the fine goblet.

" Thank you, my friend. I will take you up on your generous offer, at least until the road calls out to me."

Pausing momentarily he took what he intended to be a sip, but when he placed the glass atop the table he noticed half the fine wine was gone. Smiling, Kalius glanced over to Gregory and winked, unsure whether or not he cared how much he drank.

"Well, it is some what comforting to hear a god is jealous of the life style i lead, even if only a little." After a slight chuckle and a pause to take an actual sip of the wine, he shrugged. " Since we last met I have lead basically a solitary life, only company being Kitaya here. I'll admit it has been a little lonely, but i guess it is the price to pay to improve my art."

Harldy thinking of the motion, the druid finished off his goblet, and leaned back in his chair considerably more relaxed in the different enviroment.

"But, there will be time to tell my stories of dirt and grime later, please my friend, tell me of this place. I would love to see the grounds?
