Title: A new Bard in Imythess

Vayclya - January 9, 2004 02:55 AM (GMT)
Vayclya entered the Tavern, sort of exited to be there, and to peform. She had her hair up and she looked the place over, not many were in there but it was only starting to get dark outside, she knew a lot more would come. She walked over to the bartender. "My I pleform here for you?" she asked him. "Of course, you do not have to ask to peform here, just do it" he told her, a slight smile on his face. She gave him a bow of her head and headed off to a corner table to make sure she knew what songs she was going to sing. She waited for awhile longer until the tavern was getting busier.

She stood and walked over to the small stage they had for Bards (I hope thats OK if there is a stage...)

She cleared her throat a little and began to sing.
“There you sit, in a corner, nobody likes you and you’re the only one who does not know why.

There you are! In that corner! You cry all these tears, and nobody cares for you!

You are considered strange and weird by some, but you think you’re normal. But maybe you’re not…

There you are! In that corner! You cry all these tears, and nobody cares for you!

Later you start to understand, you are different from others, different to them. They fear you, and you don’t know why!

There you are! In that corner! You cry all these tears, and nobody cares for you!

You finally look at yourself and see you do not look like others, you finally see why they call you strange…

There you are! In that corner! You cry all these tears, and nobody cares for you!

You are different, and know you know why…
You get up to leave your corner you have lived in all your life, but they push you back in!

There you are! In that corner! You cry all these tears, and nobody cares for you!

You start to cry, and no one sees you, you start to hate yourself, and start to hate them too…

There you are! In that corner! You cry all these tears, and nobody cares for you!

You look at the dagger they gave you, and you reach for it, but someone stops you and holds out his hand…

There you are! In that corner! You cry all these tears, and nobody cares for you!

This person wants to help you, but you look away… This person smiles at you and you couldn’t refuse.

Now you live like everyone else, you are happy, but it feels you left something in that corner…"

That was one of her songs that she had wrote awhile ago, and it was one of her longest songs. She grabbed a glass of water that was put on a table close by for her, she drank deeply and sat it back down. She was walking back up to the stage getting ready to sing again.

Lyrka - January 9, 2004 03:05 AM (GMT)
Lyrka sat at one of the tables closer to the fire, her golden white locks still wet from a recent swim. She wore the normal black skirt and midnight azure shirt, both embriorded with silver and gold stars. Her wings were carefully folded against her back, her tail limp where it dangled.

A small smile passed across her face when the young bard finished, her pale hands clapping. She enjoyed listening to others sing or play, and this other definitly had talent.

Linwee - January 13, 2004 04:20 PM (GMT)
Linwee sat at a table watching her sister sing, she smiled, Vayclya had always been a little better at singing then she was. Her was down but she had to small braids at the side of her head. She waited for Vayclya to get done, but she wasn't sure how long she planed on singing for. She saw someone watching her sister sing, well everyone was watching but Linwee thought this person was diffrent because of her wings, she looked diffrent as well. she stood up from where she was standing and walked over to the woman, "Hello, what might you be doing here on this nice eveing?" she asked sitting down next to the woman.

Lyrka - January 14, 2004 12:29 AM (GMT)
Lyrka leaned back in her chair, sipping from the pewter mug carefully clutched between two small hands. Her lips twitched as the other, who resembles the bard enough that Lyrka believed them to be sisters. "Good evening miss... I'm just warming up after a swim and relaxing while listening to the bard play. Yourself?"
