The forest was still and quiet, tiny animals scurrying along in the undergrowth and the occasional bird’s song filled the air. It was after noon, but the forest was always nice and cool. The shade from the trees making it that way. Through this forest a strange looking being walked slowly, a lone figure in the woods.
Alone… she had never felt so alone… Even as she walked along in the forest with her angelic bunny held in her arms, she still felt so alone, so useless. She had failed, and it had been all his fault. That… demon! She hated him, and any other evil being who would simply kill like that. The worst part wasn’t that she had failed to protect her master, but that she hadn’t been given the peace of death also. So she must now linger on, alone forever…
She gripped the soft white bunny tighter in a hug as she angrily blinked away her tears. Then she saw a shining light, the wisp. It flew about her head and she swatted it away, nearly dropping the bunny before catching it again. “Go away!” She ordered the annoying light. It was then that she noticed that she wasn’t on the path to the elven village anymore. She looked around and realized she had lost her way.
