Title: My mind, is far away...
Description: (Open!)
Hymwen Darkstar - July 23, 2007 04:43 AM (GMT)
After a few jobs through the day, she earned enough gold to stay for a while at the tavern, now all she had to do was raise money for equipment for more travels, and see where they take her, she couldn't wait to travel again, but first, she would always need equipment, even if she was a ranger, she was still training to be one, and it takes time, and so far, she has been patient, she was always patient. Silently, she sat at a table, drinking elven wine, and it was delicious, even if she wasn't really one to like wine, or anything, but she did like elven wine.
She looked at the groups of people around her, and noticed many men looked at her, but she merely ignored them, they were drunk, and slobbering fools, she would never waste her time on such idiots.
Yawning, she wondered if she should go to her room and get some rest for tomorrow. She was planing to go to the stable, and work there a while, hopefully they'll pay her something good. Here, she found it wasn't to hard to do some little things to earn gold, it was quite nice. She delivered things for a merchant, often big things, so she often used Frolba to help with it. She took a long sip of her drink and sighed.
She closed her eyes, wondering what tomorrow would bring, she hardly noticed fight had broke out around a few drunks, her mind seemed to be to far away to notice anything.

"Hey! Knock it off or I will have you thrown on out of here!" The voice was angry, but it was definitely feminine. One you could not really find it threatening unless you had seen the tall half-elf it had been issued from. With her hands on both hips and a fiery head of hair, this looked to be a woman you did not want to cross.
"Daniel!" She gasped. There was a hint of shock now as the fight continued with renewed brutality. Shaking her head and then rolling her eyes, Lehona took on a determined face as she ducked and dodged fists on her way in between the two men. Surprisingly, she did so without harm.
"Get out! Get out and do not come back. You best be sure that you'll hearing from Shaa'ra the next time you visit." She was staring at the one they called Daniel and spoke in a stern voice while pointing at the door. His friends apologized and pulled him away, the man named Daniel still spitting insults to his opponent for the evening. Shaking her head sadly as though she had just lost three of her best patrons, Lehona turned on the spot.
Smoothing out her apron, seeming to take a moment or two before speaking again. Lehona shook her head again as if the words weren't right and merely propped a hand up on her hip as she stared at the man across from her. Her ginger hair was long and flowed down her back, smooth and shiny in in the soft light of the mauve lanterns. She took out a finger to scold him with, much like her mother had done to her while she was growing up.
"What do you think getting into a fight like that? He and his buddies could have surely killed you if I had not stopped you two!" She could tell this had insulted the man who only looked even more furious now than he had when fist fighting with Daniel. Her greens eyes soften, though she did not look to apologize. "Just be a bit more careful in here. You don't want to be fightin' in a place like this." Her voice had softened up quite a bit as well and leaning in to whisper to him, she added, "Keep your nose clean and be off, you can stay but only because I will give anything that those three will be waiting' for you outside."
It was getting late she thought, glancing over to notice a sleeping woman not too far from where she had been attempting to clean up a bit of broken glass. A snort of a chuckle came out without her meaning to let it as Lehona's eyes lingered toward the back wondering just how much longer Shaa'ra would be. This was definitely not how she had imagined spending her night, breaking up brawls and serving up drinks. She did however have to admit that it wasn't all as bad as she had thought it to be.
"Ay, you!" Calling out to a man that was a table away from the resting woman, Lehona gathered up the last few shards of glass. A tinge of red appeared to pool in the palm of her hand at the bottom of the debris. Swearing underneath her breath she motioned toward the woman now with her full hand. "Tell her she can't sleep down here, I have enough to worry about without her adding to the fray!"
Hymwen Darkstar - July 28, 2007 04:15 PM (GMT)
After a while, she noticed the brawl, but took no notice of it. She looked at the table, then had her eyes closed. Thinking. Of her sister. She had news from home, and heard the Hymsong, her twin had come to Imythess to found Hymwen, but why? Maybe she knew something about their brother. She almost hope so, so she sent another letter out, with her eagle Swift, though, her familiar eagle, often tried to refuse, she wouldn't tke it, she would make her eagle take the letter, because she wants to know about home often. So far, she heard, the town was complete, they have finished building, after that Hymsong came, looking for Hymwen. She was angry with her twin for leaving hone, when their father may need her on the farm, but then, she herself left also when the village was in need, but she had to, she wanted to find their brother, and become a ranger, she didn't want to always work on a farm, maybe thats what her sister wants to.
She sighed silently, knowing that she may look like she is dozing off, but she was quite aware of people moving around, and hearing the woman talking, obviously she broke up the fight.
"Ay, you!" A man shouted at her, and her eyes snapped open.
She looked up at the man, staring at him for a long moment, her gaze amazingly emotionless.
"Do you have a problem, sir?" She asked, her voice dull, and a bit angry.
OOC: Sorry its a bit short....
Lehona - July 30, 2007 05:49 AM (GMT)
After tossing the broken glass into a large wooden barrel in the back, Lehona returned to find the woman who she had thought to be resting much awake and questioning the man she had asked to wake her. Hymwen did not appear to be altogether happy about his intrusion which led Lehona to believe that she had actually been asleep. Not wanting another brawl to break out, she picked up a broom and made her way toward the woman's table before she returned to clearing up the last bit of broken glass.
"It is not he who has the problem Miss, it is I." With one hand wrapped around the broom handle and the other propped up on her hip, giving Hymwen a good once over before speaking again. Perhaps another drink or a nice talk would calm her down and then Lehona could suggest a good night's rest somewhere more suitable for such things. Her temper was a bit short and she reminded herself of that, it was a good way to start trouble when there needn't be any otherwise.
"Not so much of a problem, but you looked to have dozed off." Her voice was no longer sharp or stern but it had turned softer and her eyes looked to be kinder than they had shown all evening. Motioning the broom handle toward Hymwen, Lehona smiled sweetly before asking, "Would you like another drink by chance? Some company perhaps?"
Already sweeping up the tiny bits of glass that lay scattered across the floor, she couldn't help but wonder what a woman like Hymwen might be doing in a place like this. What was she thinking? She wasn't much different from this elf, though she couldn't quite decide which race she was, though that didn't quite matter to Lehona. After clearing up the last of the small mess, Lehona was still across the room, her ears listening to the rest of the patrons who went about their usual business, but her eyes lay upon Hymwen.
"What'll it be Miss?"
