Hymwen Darkstar - July 23, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
"Look out! Coming through!" A Wood elf shouted, jumping over things and dodging the crowds of people, who were in the market. Hymwen, was doing a little job, well, it wasn't something she wanted to do, but, she needed gold, to get a room, and food, so, she was sent to deliver some magical items to a wizard in town. Though, she truly didn't really like wizards, but, she didn't mind delivering things. She knew she could take her time, but she wanted to get it over with, and do a few more things, maybe she could even work in the stables for a while, she was good with animals, what rangers weren't? Even if they are still in training.

A brown package was under the rangers arm, with the items in it. She had no idea what was really in it, but hardly cared, all she wanted to do was deliver it. When out of the market area, she sprinted down alleys, and long streets. When on a wide cobblestone street, a carriage was suddenly pulled out in front of her, and before she could stop, ran into it. She fell to the ground, in a little pain, but mostly of shock, she layed there a moment, the carriage going on, they didn't even noticed the ranger elf.

Slowly, she sat up, and stared after the carriage, not noticing the little boy that came over, and grabbed the brown package, then ran off. After a moment, Hymwen came to her senses, and noticed the package was gone, and right away, she was on her feet, and looked around, and just caught a glimpse of the little kid with the package running off. Hymwen spun after him, running swiftly, and gracefully after him.

"Oy! Boy! Stop there!" She shouted, as she was running, and she was very near, just in arms reach, as she was about to grab the kid, she tripped over a rock, and fell forward. Hitting her face against the stone, she got a few stratches, the time she looked up the boy was gone. She stood to her feet, and just stood there, her eyes a little annoyed. Great... just great, she thought, folding her arms.

Kenji - July 26, 2007 12:50 AM (GMT)
A burst of laughter suddenly filled the air. He just couldn't hold it in anymore. He had tried to. Even had his hands over his mouth to help hold it in. Now he was laughing so hard that one would swear he was going to fall off the side of the roof. Even his face was getting a bit of colour.

He hadn't been watching the two for very long. He had heard her yell out before the boy came in view. It was clear that the boy had stolen from her. It served her right if she was stupid enough to lose the package in the first place. However it had looked like the boy was almost caught, until she tripped. It was almost like something Kenji would have done. Only if it had of been the other way around it wouldn't have been funny. In fact Kenji would probably be rather mad.

"Aren’t that lucky are yah?" Kenji asked, trying to clam his laughing, "Hope it wasn't important." After a moment of two his laughter began to slow to a mere chuckle and he slowly made his way to his feet. He then whipped a tear from his eye before even his chuckles died away leaving him to look down upon the woman.

"Powers know, you’re in a sorry state now. That boy will be long gone to the black markets."

He grinned at her misfortune as his dark blue eyes lay on her. He was waiting to see if she would yell or snap at him. Most often did though every now and then someone would just ignore him. In that case he would fallow and yell out insults to them until they couldn’t ignore him any longer. It was rather fun to tell the truth.

Nightwind - July 26, 2007 01:06 AM (GMT)
Hymwen shuddered in anger, she heard the laughter, but tried to ignore, she stared at the path the boy went, and stamped her feet, her eyes glowing with anger. She took in a deep breath, trying to calm down, she thought about chasing the boy again, but stayed still, as if her feet were glued to the spot. She turned her attention to the person laughing, and she turned to stare at him, her eyes still angry.

"Aren’t that lucky are yah? Hope it wasn't important." He had said, and it made her glare at him.

"What does it matter to you?!" She snapped. "If you were there, you could have gotten the brat, but no, all I hear is laughter, from a low-life!." She snarled, her anger truly getting to her for the first, time. Her breathing came out rather hard in her anger.

"Your just like every other scum that lives in the blasted city, just standing around, and laughing." She said, anger edged her words. She turned away, trying to calm herself, taking deep breaths. No need to worry, I can get through this, whether the boy stole the magic item... I just won't get paid, and I'll have to pay that merchant later... She thought, and gave out a moan. She would have to be here longer then she thought she would.

Kenji - July 26, 2007 03:04 AM (GMT)
Low-life? Ah well, it’s not the worse insult he was ever given and he really couldn’t argue against it. After all, he was poor, stole from others, ate anything, and rarely bathed. In fact, if he met anyone else like himself he would call them a low life too.

“I could have gotten the kid but I wouldn’t have gotten anything in return.” Kenji replied, hardly taking offence to her insults, “Sides, if I wanted to stop the boy it would be to take the parcel for myself, not to help you.” As he spoke he casually stuck his finger in ear picking at ear wax or something.

“At lest this scum can stay on his own two feet!” Kenji lied, laughing a bit as he did, “Bet you’re gonna go home crying to mommy, Boohoo a little boy out smarted me, Boohoo!” He laughed again, holding his hands to his stomach, his wings black wings spreading a bit. If she was going to insult him then he was going to insult her right back and continue to laugh.

Women were so funny when angered and so easy to make angrier. Besides, what’s the worse that could happen? Perhaps she would throw a stone or something at him. He could handle a stone.

Hymwen Darkstar - August 1, 2007 11:37 PM (GMT)
Her eyes grew dull with anger, and her fingers twitched, wanting to strike him down with her sword, but held herself from doing so. She watched him a moment or so, listening to what he said. Her anger slowly getting stronger. In fighting, when she is angry, she could be dangerous sometimes, but then, other times, she won't. She hated this boy,he was scum, worthless.

“Bet you’re gonna go home crying to mommy, Boohoo a little boy out smarted me, Boohoo!”

She had enough of this, her hand curled into a fist, and aimed a punch at his face. She never really punched anyone, except for in combat, but during those times, she'd prefer stabbing them. Right now, she hoped she would hurt him.

"You, are an annoying brat. Fool." She said, her breathing slowing, as she stared at him, her gaze oddly cold. Her hair fell over her eyes, though after a moment, she didn't move it, till a moment or so, pulling it behind her ear, though, her gaze never leaving Kenji.
