Title: A Rest Among the Ruins
Säleth - January 8, 2004 11:44 PM (GMT)
" I was resting for a matter of fact and I have not yet seen the reason why you have woken me!"
Säleth yelled invidiously. She looked up at the woman and her horse, wondering why someone had wo0ken her from a deep and certainly needed sleep. From her lack of shut-eye, she was obviously vert testy and pugnacious. She stood up, her ivory fangs protruding warninly.
" And who are you to wake me or approach a stranger in such a fashion?!"
She drew her cutlass, her hand tightly on it's leather hilt, she most likely not strike but she was in an utterly despicable mood so it was quite unpredictable what she would do.
Adsero - January 7, 2004 10:58 PM (GMT)
Adsero walked about the beautyful ruins. The offered plenty of shade from the rain and a nice place to sleep. Whne she neared hostile sound voices she crept by the walls to listen. They seemed to be having an argument. The ruins were a great place to fight. A great place to die.
Säleth - January 6, 2004 10:47 PM (GMT)
Säleth rode Hectia lazily into the ruins, the tall structures towering above her, making her feel insagnificant. She gazed up at an old pilar carved with bizarre pictures depicting great battles. She wondered why she had never heard of any of these battles. Perhaps they were just stories made by the people who formerly lived here.
Her mind foggy with questions, she began to get quite tired. It was very rare that she slept at all but for some reason she was exhausted. Seeing a thick wall that was worn down close to the ground, she rode up to it quickly and hitched Hectia up to a small pillar. Laying her head down on the cold, uncomfortable stone, she slowly drifted off to sleep.
Kiranni - January 6, 2004 10:59 PM (GMT)
Kiranni galloped towards the ruins on Streea, causing a dust cloud where she trod. When Kiranni reached the ruins she jumped off her horse and walked among the blocks that made up the buildings of old. She was in a volitile mood. She led Streea, holding on to her reins. The horse was being rather reluctant and it agitated Kiranni greatly. She gave her steed a deadly glare and she was complacent from then on. She came upon Saleth after a while and prodded her with one foot to see if she stirred. She wondered why someone would choose such a place as this to rest.
Säleth - January 7, 2004 01:33 AM (GMT)
Feeling something nudged against her, Säleth awoke with a start. She looked up at the woman, eyes blurry with fatigue. Scowling she yawned, stretching her arms out.
"What in hell do you think you're doing?"
She shouted harshly. She had most likely slept for quite some time but being awoken from sleep from a complete stranger was not a very comforting feeling.
Kiranni - January 7, 2004 10:15 PM (GMT)
Kiranni cocked an eyebrow at the worn out looking girl at her feet. Rather cheeky if she did think so herself, Kiranni thought a look of disgust in her eyes.
"Who are you to question? These lands are free... for now at least,"
She retorted in icy tones which matched Saleths. Kiranni seemed rather affronted at being addressed like something obnoxious. Her resentment etched clearly upon her features as she stared at Saleth waiting for reply. As she waited she stroked her horse who had become restless once more upon coming across The girl. She gave Streea another look, but let her steed continue on with her snorts and her stamping hooves. Kiranni stood, her vile mood continuing to escalate every second Saleth procrastinated with an answer.
Kiranni - January 12, 2004 09:41 PM (GMT)
Kiranni was in no mood to deal with snots like this one in her current mood. She sighed trying to restrain herself from slitting the woman's throat considering she, apparently, had no other weapon except her cutlass. Kiranni could have just cast a spell anyhow, not that she was a skilled magician, but she could manage herself.
"If we're just going to go back and forth asking each other's manes and not bothering to answer what, truly, is the purpose of being here?"
Kiranni said with as little ice in her tone as she could muster. She then turned, as if daring the impudent girl to try something, and leading her horse, began to stalk off in the direction she had come from. She had no time to waste here arguing fruitlessly with this obnoxious girl.
Säleth - January 13, 2004 01:58 AM (GMT)
She too could not see the point in this and decided to go away.....
Obviously she could not chop someone up into tiny pieces although it was her favourite thing to do. She sighed. It was too late now. Calling Hectia she hopped up on the demonic cow and rode slowly away.
((AHHH ITS THE SHORTEST POST EVER!!))
Adsero - January 13, 2004 09:16 PM (GMT)
Adsero stood from where she was but had to lift herself up to see over the wall she was behind. "This sucks. Where's the violence? Where's the blood spray? I soppose it wouldn't be a good reason to fight anyway but I would like to know why you are both so hostile. Seems kinda stupid. If you don't want to answer thats fine but if you decide to then I would be very apriciative." Adsero struggled to hold on to the wall and finally just pulled herself so that she was sitting on the top.
Kiranni - January 19, 2004 09:58 PM (GMT)
Kiranni heard another voice, female, and stopped short. She wheeled around to stare at Adsero with a tilted head. This did not improve her mood.
"If you want to start something you're certainly going the right way about it. Besides, if you have an issue, take it up with miss sunshine over there and her... steed? If you could call it as much,"
Kiranni said with insolence. She scoffed slightly and repressed laughter as she realised the snotty woman was not riding a horse, but, was in fact straddling a cow. Not able to contain herself she chuckled about this while she waited for Adsero's reply.
Adsero - February 7, 2004 07:48 PM (GMT)
Adsero didn't think much of this. "I soppose I both want to start something and don't. And I have no issue. I was just wondering if you would fight. And I personaly like her demon cow. Besides, It does seem as though you woke her." Adsero ment Saleth.
