Kowe padded slowly through the glittering halls, occasionally seeing a passageway that opened into another room, but was too intent upon exploring this one passageway to explore further into them.

Finally she reached a large cavern in which resided a smooth altar-like stone that shone like the moon. Taking a moment to make sure nothing was coming out of the other entrances, she slowly climbed up upon the altar (for that was what it was) and stretched her lanky form out.

Meaning entirely to keep her eyes open and watch the beautiful forms of light which danced across the cave, she lay her head upon her paws and slowly, ever so slowly, her eyes closed. Without entirely realizing it, she slept.

Walking through the caves, gazing at the colors and formations Taima is in awe. Continuing downwards he reaching out to touch one of the rocks (not knowing they are crystals) and accidently breaks one off. Dropping it unexpectingly he quickly picks it back up, knowing the sound echoed through the caves and hopes no one else was here. Walking slighly faster through the numerous paths he goes deeper and deeper until he believes no one can find him. Slowing down and gazing at the numerous different formations he feels an aura of peace once again.

Kowe wakes at a sudden loud sound. Startled, she looks around to see if she can tell where it came from. Unable to do so, she slowly bunches herself up on the altar, and stands up, shifting from panther to human as she does so.

She paces the length of the room searching every crevice to see if she can find what fell. Finally giving up, she shifts back to panther and pads her way back to her comfortable rock. Kowe lays her weary head back down upon her paws and begins to drift off again.

Getting anxious to see something new Taima quickens his pace until he reaches an open room. Looking around he notices a stone altar with a lying figure on top of it. Not seeing any blood or other signs of sacrifice he advances slowly, waiting for an ambush or something of the sort. Getting up close, he realizes the creature is a panther, then after watching for a few seconds that it is female and sleeping. Backing away slowly, he goes back to the far corner so as not to disturb her, ready to shift at any second. Also he inches slowly to a path in case of needed escape.

Sniffing the air warily, as she starts to drift off again, Kowe glimpses a movement to her left and opens her eyes cautiously. Stretching out sloooowly, suddenly she shifts lighning-fast into her human form and is over on the other side of the room, away from where she'd seen the movement, so she could get a better idea of what it was.

Taking a moment to catch her breath, her curiousity got the better of her, so she padded over to the corner which she saw movement from. Spying a man, she tilted her head quizzically and sniffed at him. Smelling nothing untoward, she sat on his feet and eyed him. Her voice came into his head, husky and velvet.

What manner of thing are you? You smell like wolf, yet look like man.
