Title: in search for awners

Damon Varius - January 6, 2004 04:43 PM (GMT)

-warrior walked in the big dwarfen city, greeting some people now and then, he wished he had someone to travel with-

-he sat down at a bench looking around, seeing dwarfs walk around and some other races not dwarf but others who had found this city aswell-

-he stood up again and stroled over one of the many markets in the city-

Damon Varius - January 13, 2004 04:00 PM (GMT)

-he walked down some roads and entered the part in the mountain-

-he heard some people speak of mines and when he thought it over his dissision was made he was going to work in the mines for a while-

-he walked to someone and asked where he could find those mines and walked to them when the man awnsered him on his question-

-he found the mines after an hour or so and talked to a dwarf wich was possible the boss because he was commanding some other dwarfs, he asked if he could work in the mines-

-the dwarf looked at him saying why would you want to do that, but if you want to, there is the gear if u need it

-warrior grabbed the gear and took of his shirt, ripped off a piece of his shirt and tied it around his forehead-

-then he disapeard with a group of dwarfs into the mines and started working there-

Adsero - January 15, 2004 10:37 PM (GMT)
(sorry to intrude, but what fun is a one person rp?)
Adsero walked along the path from the temple of air to the dwarven city. This was where she had seen Warrior was in her scrying. The caves were dark and dreary but were mostly filled with dwarves, making it easy to find a man much taller then most down here. Adsero noticed all the things they were mining and stabbed her twitching hands with her nails. Why would he come here to find out who his attckers were?

Airie - January 16, 2004 08:30 AM (GMT)
((You know I love a good rp thread and I am just couldn't help myself! I hope you two didn't think you were alone, HEHE! jk))

Ciara smiled as she stood at the entrance, her hood down, her hair dancing behind her as she remember the first time she had entered The Deep Cities of the Gwilikith Mountain Range. It had been quite some time ago, but felt like yesterday. She remember that this was the place where she had met Kuya. Ah, what a wonderful day. She smiled as she stepped into the city, watching as the dwarves worked through the city. Some in the shops, others in the minds and still many more wandering about the city, running their daily errands. Stopping by a cart, she smiled to the owner while examining some fruit. It doesn't hurt to have a few fruits so one doesn't starve to death on their journey. "I will take three please, can I have them in a bag?" The dwarven woman eagerly nodded her head, commenting on the weather and how she was not accustomed to seeing too many visitors. "Wait, I know you." Stepping back, she examined Ciara. "That is right, you are Ciara! Oh, I remember that day you stepped into our dear little city. How have you been? It has been too long my dear, you need to come back and visit us sometime!" Ciara laughed and chatted with the woman, insisting to pay the full price and not half. She finally stepped away, giggling to herself as she began to search for both Adsero, who she had seemed to lost, and warrior who they were there to find.

Damon Varius - January 16, 2004 03:28 PM (GMT)
what would i do without u, haha you took a long time to get here. :D lol lol lol

-warrior just finished his working shift when he heard an explosion, he turned around and saw a tunnel colapse.

o sh*t he yelled
every one out of the tunnel

-warrior grabed his gear and went to the colapsed tunnel with some other dwarfes, when he got there he started digging into the big pieces of rock lieing there and closing the tunnel off-

sh*t, we got to get them out of there he said when he heard some men yelled in the closed tunnel-

Xi'Nazreth - January 16, 2004 05:22 PM (GMT)
hearing the boom, Xi'Nazreth's keen drow ears picked up the small traces of rock falling, and people yelling.

From years spent down in the Underdark ,and dealings with the evil gray dwarves, Xi'Nazreth understood: a collapsed tunnel.

Asking for directions from various dwarves along the way, Xi' Nazreth came to the collapsed site.

Pulling up a fallen dwarf, he asked him

"What happened here" in his quiet tone.

"The durned tunnel collapsed...thats what happened ye durned fool." the stout dwarf replied, wiping dust from his eyes.

"Easy friend, I came to help"

"Help? Go find a pickaxe and a hammer and help us save some of the trapped workers!"

Hmmm...Xi'Naz thought, he had only come down to possibly take..erm "borrow" some of the numerous gems supposedly in the area...it would help him with supplies.

"Alright, then I'll be right back."

Adsero - January 17, 2004 12:03 AM (GMT)
Adsero heard the explotion. She decided Ciara wouldn't miss her if she ran to help. In fact, possibly make her think better of theives. She saw that Warrior was there and walked over to him. "You can't get rid of us that easily." She began working on getting the tunnel open, trying not to look at all the gems she could steal. She couldn't use any powers because fire wouldn't really help but she was relitivly strong from working as a slave and helped as best she could.

Airie - January 17, 2004 03:47 AM (GMT)
Ciara had been startled by the explosion, seeing the smoke billow out as the tunnel collapsed, she quickly said her good byes to the dwarven woman she was with and placed the fruits in her pack. Quickly making her way to where the explosion had appeared to happen. She weaved through the many dwarven women that had fromed a circle around where the collapsed tunnel was and there she saw Adsero, warrior and another drow-like man along with quite a few dwarves, digging out the tunnel with axes and other tools along with their bare hands. Her eyes were wide as she slowed nearing the entrance. "How did this happen?" Her eyes searched for a place to join in, but the entire entrance was already swarmed, everyone working hard to get the men that screamed on the inside out. Ciara watched warrior, who always seemed to be in the right place at the right time and had to thank the stars for him. He was a quick thinker and very handy to have around in tight spaces. "What can I do, I will help, but where?"

Damon Varius - January 17, 2004 08:47 AM (GMT)

-Warrior saw the drow man get a pickaxe and thanked him for his help, we need allot of help, its a big tunnel and there are many men in there-

-warrior saw adsero come into the tunnel and smiled, i was wondering when you would come here, it took you a long time he said with a smile on his face-

-when Ciara joined them later on he was filled with joy.
he heard her say she wanted to help he said get the the rest out of the tunnel, we need space if we want to get those men out of there quick

-he continued with two pickaxes in his hand and with double speed when he heard those men in his head, they where in panic-

Adsero - January 17, 2004 03:59 PM (GMT)
Adsero helped and soon saw that Ciara had joined them. After a while, a small gap appeared in the wall of loose rock. The men on the other side that were trapped were helping too. "It took a little while to find you and get down that slope. I see you've had your hands busy." She looked over at the drow that was helping. He seemed to be eyeing the gems. She smiled and went back to moving the rock out of the way. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought about it.

Xi'Nazreth - January 18, 2004 08:07 PM (GMT)
Reaching out through a whole to one of the trapped dwarfs, he clasped his hand.

"HELP US, HELP US!" screamed the dwarf. "We'll suffocate!!!"

"Calm down" said Xi'Nazreth, a little annoyed, for he hadn't had a chance to "see" the gems yet. "We've almost got you out, just stand back, I think someone went to get some blastpowder. Just sit tight."

Digging on, to keep up his ruse, Xi'Nazreth heard the old dwarf from before:

"Alright, here it is...everyone stand back..."

Two huge dwarves (well, for dwarves) carried in two big barrels of blastpowder.

Trailing some back, about 50 feet, they lit it..

Pssssssssht....BOOM!!!

The rock wall exploded, showering the onlookers with little bits of rock, but nothing too serious.

The trapped people slowly came out of their "cave" and there was much cheering and rejoicing.

No one noticed one lone drow slip into the shadows...

Adsero - January 18, 2004 08:19 PM (GMT)
(nice expolsive effects)

Adsero decided to let Ciara catch up with people she knew and talk to Warrior and sliped away from the group. She didn't notice that the drow had also slipped away. Her fingers twitched as she looked around the mines. There were gems in carts and along the walls. She noticed a large, dark blue one and slipped it in her pocket.

Xi'Nazreth - January 18, 2004 08:41 PM (GMT)
from the shadows, Xi'Nazreth noticed the fire-woman take one of the bright blue gems and slip it into his pocket.

this one was good...an accomplished theif. not many would notice that movement.

but still, Xi'Nazreth was a drow, master of the shadows, and while the fire-woman was bright, like most fires, the drow had the cover of the shadows and his family's piwafi, or former family.

Smirking, the drow casually reached out to the nearest cart, opened his sack, and went to work...

Adsero - January 18, 2004 08:47 PM (GMT)
Adsero froze, the hair standing up on her skin. Someone was here. At first she thought it was a dwarf, but soone relized it was taller than a dwarf. She made a frieball in her hand and whispered"See who it is." The fire rolled off her hand and started toward the person. After a while it came back and stopped at her feet. She picked it up and put it to her ear.

[color=orange]A drow[/color

Xi'Nazreth - January 18, 2004 08:55 PM (GMT)
Strange...stopping his "work" Xi'Nazreth noticed the fire-woman had formed a fireball in her, she wispered something to it, and it sort of rolled/floated towards him. Doing his best to hide, not sure what this little ball of flame was going to do, he ducked behind and slid under the cart, still in shadow.

The ball rolled and stopped a few feet from him, then rolled away. It returned to its master, who picked it up, put it to her ear, and nodded. Then turning her head, she seemed to look strait at him.

Ever so slowly, he rose from his hiding spot and approached the fire-woman.

"It appears we both came down to "help" for the same reason." he said.

Adsero - January 18, 2004 09:06 PM (GMT)
Adsero stared at the darkness. Cremo said it was a drow and by the sound of its voice, male. She let Cremo(the fire ball) drop to the floor. "Depends, you here to steal gems? I was helping someone locate another. Now that that is done, I decided to come here. Cremo says you are a drow, is that true?"

YOU THINK I LIED! Ungratefull.

Xi'Nazreth - January 18, 2004 09:12 PM (GMT)
((LIED!? When'd I say that?!))

"Well, these gems were going to help me with my financial predicament, if you take my meaning. As you can see, I don't have much." said Xi'Nazreth.

The woman didn't seem hostile, so the drow put out his hand, thought better of it considering she was some sort of half fire person, and crossed his arms, the universal, or at least the Underdark meaning for peace:

"I'm Xi'Nazreth. And you are...?"

Adsero - January 18, 2004 09:22 PM (GMT)
(when did i say u lied? the orange is my fire talking)

"Adsero. So you plan to sell them? Fine. Go ahead." Adsero made Cremo larger and had him roll out between them. The drow was the same one that was at the explosion. "Do you always come here or was I just lucky in meeting you?"

Xi'Nazreth - January 18, 2004 09:31 PM (GMT)
((Oh sorry! lol))

"I would say consider yourself lucky. It's my first time to the mines." said the drow.

A little nervous with the growing fire ball, Xi'Nazreth backed off, wondering what this Adsero had in mind.

"What did you mean by helping someone 'locate another'?" he asked.

Adsero - January 19, 2004 12:35 AM (GMT)
"Ciara healed Warrior and offered to help but Warrior left and I helped her find him now they are both back at that explotion site, why?" Cremo wandered around the cave, not caring anbout what they were saying. It was amused that he made the drow even slightly nervous. It heated the ground with delight, sometimes creating glass where there was crushed sand. It started to roll gems into a pile near the drow.

Xi'Nazreth - January 19, 2004 12:51 AM (GMT)
"Oh no reason really, just wondering." said Xi'Nazreth.

Covering his eyes as the ball came closer, as drow eyes are very sensitive to bright light, he asked about this little pet of hers.

"And what, or who, is this?"

Adsero - January 19, 2004 01:08 AM (GMT)
Adsero watched as Cremo piled up the gems. "Cremo, you mght want to stop now." The fire rolled away from the drow into a corner. "This is my fire spirt. It's name is Cremo. It doesn't seem to have a sex but It sounds more like a male to me. Depends upon your own personal opinion I guess. Sorry if its annoying you."

Annoying? Me? Why, whatever gave you that idea?

Airie - January 19, 2004 03:05 AM (GMT)
Ciara nodded to warrior, she was glad to of found him but still a bit urked that he left so abruptly. She had covered her ears at the explosion, hiding her eyes as the bright flash of light seemed to collapse the wall and set the dwarves inside free. She hurried over to them, helping those that needed help out, then going inside to search for others that may have been caught inside. Though the mine had just collapsed, she wasn't afraid of entering it. She walked through the mine, calling out every so often for those that would have been caught, listening for any voices that might return to her. She knelt down, admiring the gems and jewels that lined the bottom of the mine. They were all over the place really, in a variety of colors. "Well, isn't that interesting. Even in the darkest of places there is some form of light." Reaching out a hand she gently touched the gem, thinking for a moment what Adsero would do if she were to see it. But she brought back her hand, empty as it was and only a smiled, tilting her head back to the entrance. Where is Adsero anyhow? I do not think I have seen her since the explosion... Standing, she went deeper into the mine to finish her search so that she could go and catch up with her friends.
