The cold wind pierced and screamed as Lysan tripped, as if mocking him. The sheer freezing that had engulfed him had stretched him to his limits, and now it looked as if he were about to break. He picked himself up, hand in front, pushing and shoving against the wind, his jacket wrapped around him in a tight bundle. His other hand was on his sword, as he knew there could be anything in the mines.
'Argh!' He cried, as he was blown over. The narrow tracks that ran through the middle of the mine seemed to fly up into his face as he tripped, banging his head on a rock. 'Ah,' he yelled, 'I can't take much more of this. Why did I ever choose to come here, how foolish was I?' But he carried on.
After hours of stumbling, he reached a large cavern, the walls covered in strange drawings. 'At last,' he exclaimed, putting his hands against the wall. The wind stopped, and the cold left the room. For a second, it glowed a bright blue, but then faded again. He turned in delight, to face a huge beast, a cave boar by the looks of it. His eyes widened in terror, and he pulled out his sword, but he knew he wouldn't be able to take it alone. 'I need help...' he whispered.
The boar charged, and Lysan just managed to jump out the way. He held up his sword, waiting for the boar to charge again. But it didn't, it just stared at him, wiping it's hooves along the floor, as if making a peace gesture. Lysan stepped towards it, sword still out in a block poistion, but the boar stayed put. Lysan walked over to it, let his sword down and stroked the boars brow, it's bristly skin like hoarse grass.
The boar chucked it's head up, and Lysan was sent flying into a wall. He felt delirious from banging his head on the wall, and dizzy, he couldn't move in a straight line. But he kept his sword out, uttered a silent curse and charged at the boar, the sword impaling the boars thigh. But it wasn't good enough, and now the beast was angry. It narrowed it's eyes, and charged.
Arthur felt the hard wind against him as even he in his toughened state of life had a hard tiem pushing against finally he saw a cave where he might find relief from the wind. He entered it and noticed two sets of tracks both going in. He heard soemthign that soundedlike a fight in the back of the cave. He gripped his sword and pushing hard agisnt the wind went forward. Finnaly the widn stopped when he noticed a big boar about to charge this man and he said to the man," You need help". He jumped forwad his sword in the air as the boar charged forward and broguth down the hilt of his sword on the boars head dropping him in the ground as he charged forward making a boomign sound but at leats the other guy was safe at least till the boar got up and was unstuneed and he said," I love doing this".
