Title: Cathedral in the Dark

The sky was dark and clouds rolled in. The winds were starting to pick up that night, the old Cathedral starting to sway in the wind. Dyson looked up at the tower, and he could see the stained windows in the dark night. He approached the cathedral, stopping at the front door, only to look up at it with amazement. He walked in, looking around the dark room. He could hardly make out the benches in the darkness and the altar at the front.

There was a flash of light in the background, and a boom quickly followed. For that brief moment the room lit up and dyson could see the room clearly. There were many rows of benches set up and the altar at the front was covered with some rocks. He didn't have enough time to catch every object in the room, so he was forced to stumble forward into the darkness.

As he moved forward his eyes slowly adapted to the dark and more objects began to form as he got closer to the altar. Clang, Dyson stopped just before the altar. To his right the sound of some kind of metal hitting the stone floor vibrated in the cathedral room. He quickly spun to face the noise, there just five feet from him was a man grinning with his cutlas in his hand, and a bag hung over his left shoulder. From the top of the bag dyson could see some of the plates and gold candles left inside the altar, this man was obviously stealing what was left of this cathedral.
