Title: Sanctuary
Description: (p) Musa... babes

Xailich Korper - February 13, 2007 01:46 AM (GMT)
Xailich closed his eyes as the sun slowly slid beyond the horizon, allowing day to pass into night. He kept his eyes closed, and listened to the water as it sloshed queitly with the rising tied. Minutes passed, and Xailich laid on the shore for what seemed like hours; however, he knew that only a few moments had gone by. He raised up, allowing the cloak to stay beneath him, on the beach. His eyes flashed open to see himself sitting with water barely reaching the stone on which he now sat.

Xailich's eyes scanned his arms, and ran them down the scars that covered them. The brand on his chest burned lightly in the moonlight and he growled loudly in anger. He hated himself so much, and everything that he was. He pulled the cloak around him and sat quietly, thinking, contemplating, and staring into the crystal clear water; solid black with the reflection of a starless sky. His eyelids closed and he waited for the sanctuary of sleep to take him away.

(Pathetically short, but it does it's job...)

Musa Saphire - February 13, 2007 01:59 AM (GMT)
Musa walked to the crystal water, she wated to feel numb. So she could no longer feel pain. She jumped into the black water. Black. Like the deamonds and vampires that had surrounded her for so long. She surfaced to take in a breath of air. She pushed her wet, hair back. This is when she realized thier was another human being their. She felt rather embarassed, when she had jumped into the water she had stripped down to nothing but her underwear, so she quickly put her pants and t-shirt back on before he got back up. When she had her outfit on again she crawled over to the sleeping man. She leaned over him he was deep in sleep she could tell from his face that he seemed hurt and in pain. Her green eyes searched his face for a shred of happiniess but none was their.

Xailich Korper - February 13, 2007 02:49 AM (GMT)
Xailich was startled and opened his eyes to the darkness of the sky as the water's serenity was disturbed by a new being. He rolled his eyes with annoyance but chose not do anything about it and closed them again; he wanted to be alone, then again, he always seemed to enjoy company, wanted or unwanted. After more sounds and ruffling of clothes Xailich became curious as to what was happening. He pulled the cloak tight around his shoulders and sat up in the darkness.

Xailich opened his eyes to see a woman standing nearby. She was closer to him that he wanted so he slid a little away from her and waited for his eyes to adjust to the darkness. The only thing that really stood out, was her eyes and he looked at them as the question slowly came, "Um, Hello?" He wanted to shake his head, and lay back down but instead chose to keep his eyes fixed on hers.

Musa Saphire - February 13, 2007 03:01 AM (GMT)
Musa was slightly taken aback from him saying something. She felt tempted to say "What happened, are you ok? What are you doing here?" But because she bearly knew the person infront of her, she didnt. Instead she got up and held out her hand for him to shake. "Musa." She sat back down and dipped her legs in the water. It felt black, bitter cold, hurting, but she didnt care. Anything to look casual in this somewhat emabrassing situation. She could feel her clothes clinging to her wet body. This was even more embarassing.

Xailich Korper - February 13, 2007 04:02 PM (GMT)
Xailich smirked as she jumped up in surprise and held out her hand; he shook it, simply because it was the polite thing to do in this incredibly awkward situation. At least she was providing a bit of a distraction from the physical pain that he was trying to sleep through. He wasn’t exactly sure what she had said was either her name or just the way she greeted people; after a moment, when she put her feet in the water he made the assumption that it was her name and looked out at the water.

Xailich waited for a moment before he decided to give her his name; he could still feel sleep calling him but he chose to ignore the request and give the woman his name; she had introduced herself, it would only be polite to give his own. Either that or he was acting on impulse, which wouldn’t surprise him; he forced the smirk that was still on his face off and then spoke “I’m Xailich… nice to meet you, I suppose.” He thought about what he said, and left his mouth open to speak again but closed it tight with the lack of anything to say; so he sat, waiting for a response.

(Much better, at least in my opinion...)

Musa Saphire - February 13, 2007 04:44 PM (GMT)
"Nice to meet you too Xailich ." Musa smiled. This was kinda an akward situaion, but atleast the man was being polite. She was longing to get back into the darkness of the water. But, she could not, and she supposed that was her fault for waking him. Maybe she shouldnt have. Musa looked at the water and saw her reflection. A memory flash came to her.....

MEMORY FLASH: NO! she punched and struggled as much as she could when the vampire wrapped his arms arround her...... I need this blood to survive! DUN DUN DUN!!!!!!

Musa shook her hear trying to get the memory out, it had no buisness their. Her green eyes became hard and cold trying not to remember. The blood left her face and her complextion was pale. She was breathing rather quickly. She slowed down her breathing and looked at Xailich. Waiting for a reply.

((lol it is, mine is kinda bad sorry, in school.))

Xailich Korper - February 14, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
She seemed to space out for a moment after she finished the formal introduction. Xailich raised an eyebrow and realized how much he had come to despise formalities anyways; the fact that he hated all of the honest answers that he was compelled to say probably annoyed him the most. His own name sounded dead, and as it came from his mouth each time he said his name to someone else he grew to hated it a little more. Along with his previous life; where he came from and who he used to be. He hadn’t quite allowed himself to be swallowed in redemption; he wasn’t sure he believed in it yet. All these thoughts came at once and he realized that they weren’t helping him anymore and actually made him feel worse. He banished them further into his mind and allowed himself to return to reality.

Xailich was curious as to what happened to her, he wasn’t going to ask but he allowed himself to ask despite what he wanted, “Are you ok?” He was sincere, he hoped he hadn’t come off as a person who was just into her business. He thought about it for a moment, and thought she should probably ask him the same question. He knew he looked terrible, the cloak halfway on him; scars covering his unnaturally bare arms and his eyes red and chest in a dull throb of pain. Xailich was a mess…

Musa Saphire - February 14, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
The memory had scared her, it was something she wanted to ignore. Something she wished had never happened. Her face had probably lost its color, her eyes were now dead. That night had taken the sparkle out of her green eyes. She turned to him and tried to look happier, but he looked dead to what had happened to him? What had done this too him? A similar event or something completely differant. "yes, I'm fine." She lied. "And you? you look kinda dead." She said pushing him playfully.

Xailich Korper - February 14, 2007 03:59 PM (GMT)
Xailich looked past her at the water after she answered; the word 'dead' made him flinch a little, along with the light shove that she gave him. Her answer sounded halfway sincere, he wasn't sure if she was completely honest with him about it or not. He had developed a keen since to discover whether people were lying or not, people, no matter how often they lie, their tone changes in the most obvious since when they do. For one to be so intrested by truth, he seemed to overlook it when people didn't give it to him.

Xailich turned his gave back to her and realized that she had asked him a question and he had kept her waiting. He wasn't exactly sure how long, hopefully not long; it was easy for him to lose a sense of time in this place. Especially with the water, and the starless sky. "I'm having issues, and thank you," He said quietly and then added quickly a sarcastic remark, "I really needed to hear that." He smirked and waited for her to ask more questions. It was typical, how else would he learn about her if he didn't first reveal some of himself. Xailich, as much as he hated to admit it, really enjoyed the company; especially hers.

Musa Saphire - February 14, 2007 11:49 PM (GMT)
Musa laughed. "I thought so. Your welcome, I thought it would help." She said smiling. He seemed distant, but she didnt mind. She was distant too. She came here to be relived of pain, but all she managed to do was make a new friend. But that was good to............She turned back to him and smiled her green eyes glinting. "Lets swim." Her clothes were wet already so she slid into the cold water, a shiver was sent up her spine. She breathed hard trying to stand the cold. It hurt it was so cold. "Arnet you comeing?"

Xailich Korper - February 15, 2007 03:13 AM (GMT)
Xailich constant kept raising his eyebrows at everything she said; each sentence and comment seemed to surprise him more than the one before it. She seemed rather comfortable around him, enough to invite him to swim and, from what he could tell, already swim beforehand. He watched her for a moment and tried to decide whether it was good idea to follow her into the black water or not. “I…” he said slowly before closing his mouth and remembering a crucial piece of information. He added quickly and quietly, “Am self-conscious about, myself.”

It was a terrible excuse but it would have to work, until she told him and he was assured that she didn’t care about the way he looked. He waited for her response, and as he did he looked up into the black sky and thought about another excuse that he would give her. He spoke again, hoping he would say it before she could respond, “A little pathetic isn’t it?”

(sry for errors and mess... it got the job done...)

Musa Saphire - February 15, 2007 03:28 AM (GMT)
Musa felt bad for him, and to her, he didnt look bad at all. He seemed shy, self concious and depressed, she had been their, done that. She knew how it felt. Musa looked down at the black water. Then pulled her self out just a little so her face was extremly close to his, as if she were going to kiss him. She closed her eyes and turned her head slightly, but her lips turned into a smirk. She got a good grip on his shirt and pulled him into the water with her.

When he came up to the surface she put one arm on the side cassualy and smiled.
"I dont think you should be self-consious, just have fun."

Xailich Korper - February 15, 2007 09:50 PM (GMT)
Xailich watched as she got out of the water and brought herself closer to him. He backed away slightly, not exactly sure what she was about to do. He wasn’t exactly trustful of people when he first met and this woman seemed to break all of his personal boundaries, without thinking twice. First she had pushed him and then he thought for a moment that she was about to kiss him; however, soon he discovered her true motives. Xailich didn’t really put up much resistance, simply because he was taken by surprise anyways; he also wasn’t fully self-conscience, just slightly embarrassed by the scars that were hidden under his cloak.

Xailich felt the black freezing water touch his skin and he flinched; but soon he had adjusted to the water. He turned around and gave her a glare of annoyance and opened his mouth to speak but looked down and realized that the cloak that covered his chest was gone. He rolled his eyes and looked at the scars that covered his arms and chest; particularly obvious was the brand that covered nearly one half of his torso. The symbol that was branded into his skin was that of a dragon coiled over it with pentagrams for eyes. His head slumped slightly and then he let himself fall into the water; uninterested in what she would say. He resurfaced, deciding to say something, “That was uncalled for…” he said quietly and then muttered a curse under his breath about the water. His eyes looked to the sky while his ears listened for a reply.

Musa Saphire - February 15, 2007 11:53 PM (GMT)
Musa's skin stung with sympathy pain. She looked back up at him and smirked. "Oh I think it was....." Musa said. She looked again at his scars, wishing to trace them with her fingers. But she tore her eyes away from them to look him in the eyes her green eyes locked onto his. She smiled and sumberged herself under the water for a moment. She water surrounded her, it was such a good feeling, she smiled underwater and pushed her hair back when she came back up to the surface.

He seemed like a rather shy guy, nice, polite, but shy. Thats ok. Musa thought to herslef. He'll come out of his shell soon.

Xailich Korper - February 16, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
Xailich only halfway listened to what she said and was tempted to ask her to repeat it because he did so, but instead chose to continue to look at the sky. Clouds had blocked the shine of the moonlight as well as the stars and for some reason that annoyed him; perhaps because he was unable to see her face completely. She was hidden by the shadow of clouds; though not completely, only enough to make him annoyed by it. However, half of him was thankful of the clouds, they hid his horrid scars that he despised; as did the water as he sunk back into the water slightly.

She was under the water, and he had to wait for a moment for her to come above before he asked what was on his mind. Without thinking about it much he posed a question, “Do you do this to everyone you meet; or should I think I’m something special?” He was interested in knowing the answer only for curiosity’s sake. He rolled his eyes and watched her, standing perfectly still in the water, waiting patiently for her reply.

Musa Saphire - February 16, 2007 12:17 AM (GMT)
Musa thought about his question. She was a rather playfull person naturally. But for some reason with him she was a tad bit braver, she probably would have pushed another kid, but not have gotten so close when she was pretending to kiss him. If it were anyother person she probably would have just pulled them in, but not tricked him in in the manner she did to him. She looked down and searched the water with her eyes for nothing imparticular. She didnt know what to say. "Maybe." She said smiling.

Xailich Korper - February 16, 2007 01:07 AM (GMT)
Xailich cocked his head to the side and raised an eyebrow; he was utterly confused by her, particularly the remark. He should ‘maybe’ feel special and ‘maybe’ she did this to everyone she met; Xailich realized that there were variables in this and rolled his eyes. She obviously didn’t want to be very straight forward with him; not to mention the fact that she seemed to have no problem invading his personal space. He wasn’t sure he wanted to take that as a compliment or an insult; he turned around so that his back faced her and crossed his arms.

“How can you do that, when you don’t even know me?” He muttered, just loud enough for her to hear him; or at least he hoped it was. He particularly meaning the whole situation in general; though the kiss that she almost gave him stood out in his mind the most at the moment. He wondered what he meant by the random question; he waited quietly for a response, staring off to the opposite shore.

Musa Saphire - February 16, 2007 01:19 AM (GMT)
Musa tilted her head. Then furrowed her brow slightly. "I dont know." She said honestly. He seemed like a nice person who liked her back, but now she wasnt sure. She did it because he seemed.........she didnt know, she was confused her mind a mess. It was cluttered wtih junk that she wanted to throw out but couldnt.

She wished he handt turned his back on her, for some reason she didnt know why she moved closer and put her hands on his shoulders and leaned so her mouth was near his ear. "I'm sorry." She said.

Xailich Korper - February 16, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)
She answered with another answer that didn’t really seem to be what he wanted. Xailich looked down at his legs and realized that they were numb; he shifted himself a little to make sure they were still existent before allowing him to think a little more. She seemed honest enough, answering all of the questions that he asked; that was typical of normal people, particularly when they meet each other for the first time. Everyone he had met was generally honest, which made his ability to read people almost useless. Xailich knew that lying revealed more in a person than the truth did any day.

With his back turned and his mind swimming in thought, he was completely oblivious to the woman as she slowly approached him and whispered into his ear. Xailich flinched at the physical contact and turned his head slightly towards her mouth; within a hairs breath of it touching his neck, “For what?” He asked quietly. Xailich didn’t really care for her body language but he still allowed her to stay where she was while he waited for her answer.

Musa Saphire - February 16, 2007 02:00 AM (GMT)
Her breathing slowed thier lips were only a half a centimeter away. She didnt know what to do what to think. "For everything." She bearly whispred. She didnt move from her spot in the water. She couldnt her feet were root to the spot almost like an invisble force was keeping her their.

Her whole body was numb, was it because of the peircing cold of the water, or the situation, she didnt know.

((sad post I konw.......))

Xailich Korper - February 16, 2007 02:35 AM (GMT)
Xailich was frozen in his position and he wasn’t exactly sure what she meant by what she said. She had done nothing worth apologizing over to him, except for maybe getting him into the water when he really didn’t want to be. He could not see her face completely and it bothered him, almost enough to make him move, but for some reason, he wanted her there. The pain from the brand on his chest had completely disappeared, which never seemed to happen; perhaps this was what he searched for. Was she enough to ease his pain?

“Do you even realize what,” Xailich paused for a moment thought about what he was saying then decided to finish it, “you’re doing?” He waited for a response, keeping his neck close, but not touching her mouth, his heart pounding in his chest, and his breathing slightly heavy.

Musa Saphire - February 16, 2007 02:53 AM (GMT)
Musa's breathing was slow and heavy. She couldnt belive they were even still talking, her own voice was a whisper. "Yes...." She replied slowly, why wouldnt she know what she's doing? What does he think? She's deliusional? Well she was not. The moon cast a magical white glitter on the surface of the lake. The glitter seemed to flow arround the two almost attrackted by the energy. She didnt know what to do, or think.

Xailich Korper - February 16, 2007 03:22 PM (GMT)
Xailich kept himself perfectly still, but moved his eyes to the water that now reflect the moon back to his own gaze. He realized that he had not been very clear on the meaning of his question; because otherwise she would not have answered ‘yes’ to what he was asking. She seemed too nice of a person to be ‘falling’ for a half dragon, much less a half demon; and besides that, he had been through the dark parts of the world. He had started this night with the opinion that he was going to sleep through all of the mess that was going on. Though, as he surveyed the situation, he couldn’t have asked for a better night.

Xailich brought himself back to reality, realize how awkward the situation could be if there was any long period of silence. “Why are you doing this?” He asked without thinking; seemed to him that he was doing that often, particularly in this meeting with her. His eyes moved back to watching her over his shoulder.

Musa Saphire - February 17, 2007 02:51 AM (GMT)
Musa didnt know why she was doing it, she had no idea. She had just done it, like it was uncontrollable. Yet, she sayed where she was, still theirs only a centimeter apart. Her breathing was still slow and heavy. Her skin was a wonderfull pale color in the moonlight. By now her hair was almost half way dry. They seemed to be this way for a while.

She hated the questoin, because she didnt have the awnser. She thought about kissing him for a reply she made her lips become closer, yet she didnt go through with it. She stopped at the last moment. "I dont know....."

Xailich Korper - February 17, 2007 03:24 AM (GMT)
Xailich kept himself positioned where he was even though his legs began to grow numb of staying where they were. She had ‘answered’ his question with another comment that he really didn’t consider to be an answer, though she seemed honest enough in her answer. He admired honesty, simply because he thought that to much was revealed in a person through a lie; he let that thought pass without further consideration and brought himself back to the lake. The moonlight was engulfing them both and he realized that if he could move he might be able to see what this woman looked like; though he continued to stand still and breath slowly.

Xailich realized that his heartbeat had slowed a bit and he seemed a little more comfortable with her behind him. The brand on his chest became very visible in the light, and normally he would have tried to cover it. He smirked, remembering that she was still attached to him, though now he didn’t have much of a complaint. There wasn’t much that he could say, only that she was the only person that he had met that he would actually like to have a conversation with. The rest just seemed to come to him with what they wanted to talk about. “You don’t seem to have very many answers; I should probably stop trying to ask question then.” He paused for a moment then added, “Though, I don’t look forward to the silence either.” He waited for a response.

Musa Saphire - February 17, 2007 03:36 AM (GMT)
"Maybe you should." Musa said, she didnt like being asked too many questions. It made her feel like they were digging too deap. Like they were trying to read what she was thinking, and that was uncomfortable to her. She didnt like being read like a book. "The silence is what hurts." Musa stated and it was true, when you were getting chased by a villain, its the silence that ends up hurting. She tried to avoid it whenever she could. But sometimes, it is unavoidable. But you learn.

Xailich Korper - February 17, 2007 03:58 AM (GMT)
Xailich could take a hint and when she spoke; he smirked and turned his head away from her and looked out over the water. It was the firs time that he had moved in a while, and he was glad that it seemed to take some tension off of the moment. Though he would not keep his gazed fixed on the reflection of the moon for long, he turned his head back to her as she spoke the second part of her response. He realized that from her first answer, she didn’t want to be read with questions, and the second that she didn’t want to be flooded by silence either. What else was there; to him, it was either answers or nothing at all.

Xailich didn’t really think about the next action; just allowed himself to do it. He turned himself around, so that he faced her and realized that she was much shorter than he was; he backed away a half of a step and turned his head to the side slightly. He looked into her eyes, and the rest of her face, taking advantage of the moonlight and then looked right and down, back into the gaze of the moon. He didn’t want to keep eye contact for to long; they were still standing close, but not touching anymore. He halfway hoped that she would come back to him; though he said nothing; allowing his body language to do all of the talking for him. He grew bold, and looked back into her eyes, waiting for her to “speak.”

Musa Saphire - February 17, 2007 04:15 AM (GMT)
Musa's eyes darted from one place to another. Her muscles were soar from no movement for a long time, she looked up at him. She kept eye contact for a minute or so. Musa pursed her lips very slightly. Then she smiled. She fell backwards into the black water, her hair flowed through the water, the water felt like needles hitting her all at once. She came back up to the surface and sat on the edge of the pool looking at the moonlight. She really didnt know what to do, so when all else fails do something randome.

Xailich Korper - February 17, 2007 04:58 AM (GMT)
Xailich was surprised a bit, but watched quietly as she swam, as if he had much of a choice. She would resurface and sit a ways away from him and he turned his head towards the water and rubbed the back of his neck. That wasn’t exactly what he was looking for, though it got her to do something instead of stand there with him. He shifted his legs, realizing that they were still attached to him; he wanted to swim but wasn’t good enough at it to take the time to actually follow through with what he wanted. He took a few steps towards her and the shore, wondering if she would actually let him out of the water or not; she was the one who had got him in the water in the first place. He thought that she was finished perhaps, and his numb legs wanted to be on the solid ground again.

Xailich stepped out of the water and passed her, back to the rock that he originally sat on and looked at his cloak. He turned, “You are different from everyone else I’ve met here,” he said turning back to her, leaning his back against the rock and watching her intently. She was a very beautiful woman and for a moment Xailich was glad for the moonlight; he waited for her to either do something or say something, which ever came first.

Musa Saphire - February 17, 2007 05:12 AM (GMT)
Musa's body tingled from warmth coming back to her skin. She layed down on the grass and streatched. She looked back up at him. "I'm one of a kind." Musa said. "I knew you would warm up to me eventually." Musa said confidently. Her hair was spread across the grass and her breathing was back to normal. Musa's green eyes looked like leaves from tree's in the summer.

The warm air was a nice change from the peircing cold of the lake. Musa was happy that she had met him, but still not sure what he thought of her, yet it was none of her buisness.

Xailich Korper - February 17, 2007 05:25 AM (GMT)
Xailich smirked and laid flat upon the stone, his arms slowly rising to finally rest behind his head, and his cloak laid flat underneath him; he thought this to be the more comfortable than the grass. Even though he had lost eye contact with her, he still listened to what she said; he thought that ‘warming’ up to her was a bit of an overstatement. He didn’t really know her all that well, but he would be lying if he told her that he wasn’t attracted to her or that he wasn’t interested in getting to know her better. He smiled at the thought and then realized that he had gone a few moments without saying anything.

Xailich wondered to himself how he could describe what he was feeling; the fact that he wanted to know her better and that he was attracted to her. It confused him; he wanted to be straightforward but at the same time, he didn’t want to come on too strong, too fast. He opened and closed his mouth several times, rewording everything he said in his mind before he said it; he gave up on it and just laid there on the rock, hoping that she would say something.

Musa Saphire - February 17, 2007 05:35 AM (GMT)
Musa crawled over to him and came dangerously close. She leaned over him. "Dont let curiosity get the better of you. But then again you want to be free, do things on impulse, you want to see what it tastes like." Musa said rather suductivly. Her dark brown hair fell and framed her face. Her green eyes sparkled. She smiled and stayed above him waiting for his reply.

She for some reason liked him, even though he said little. But she was still atracked to him in some way.

Xailich Korper - February 17, 2007 05:59 AM (GMT)
Xailich watched her move closer to him and leaned away slightly; his heartbeat picked up speed again and he watched her eyes as she spoke. He smirked, realizing that perhaps she was trying to seduce him; either is was that or it was a bluff that he was supposed to, because of some sense of honor not fall for. Though, Xailich knew that he followed no rules, he was compulsive and did things randomly as the thought of doing whatever came to his mind. Basically, to put it simply, he did whatever he wanted and whatever he thought about first. She was close to him and he felt slightly uncomfortable in the silence. There was a slight pause between them, he sighted lightly, looking up to the moon for a split second. He took a deep breath, it was his deep breath before he leapt over the edge, after which he would not be able to go back.

Xailich thought little before the act, only that it was necessary and that it must be done. He gently dipped his head down, letting his emotions take over for once, and hoping that everything would work out. Perhaps fate would allow him to be with her, whether he was part demon or not; the brand on his chest seemed to have little meaning to him, especially at this moment. His lips gently met hers, and he let himself be swept away, letting her lips touch his own, making them as close as he had ever been to another being. He didn’t move his hands or body, for fear of hurting her perhaps, or for fear of breaking the moment. For hours it seemed, his lips and hers danced together, until a moment where he pulled away, breaking the kiss if not only to take a breath, but to perhaps regain his composure.

Then, there was only silence…

Musa Saphire - February 18, 2007 02:16 AM (GMT)
Musa was slightly suprised, she didnt think her speach would work, while her body language and her tone of voice was certianly tempting her words contradicted all that, so she wasnt sure he would give in. Yet he did. Their lips met softly, she closed her eyes and let the kiss consume her. She pressed her lips against his. The dance seemed to last forever, but it was over. She opened her eyes but was unable to move from the position she was in. Her heart began to beat quickly, as if it were going a million miles an hour. But musa did managed to let her voice escape her mouth..."You wanted to dance so I asked you to dance but fear was in your soul."

Xailich Korper - February 18, 2007 02:41 AM (GMT)
Xailich avoided eye contact for as long as he could; almost embarrassed because he had taken the opportunity to kiss her. She may not have been very clear in what she said, but her body language was sending him a clear message; all Xailich did was answer it with his own. Xailich’s heart was pounding in his chest and emotions in him still raged war, confused about what he had done. She had spoken the perfect words to fit the situation; he had been afraid slightly of what he was feeling. Though, more than anything else, he was fearful of what this meant; what responsibility would he have after this. He let those thought pass, allowing himself to be caught in the moment, instead of worrying about what would happen because of what he was doing. Besides, he was used to getting himself into a situation that he didn’t understand; simply because he acted on the first action or thought that came his way.

Xailich searched for the words to say and finally stumbled across some inside of his mind. “And it was through dancing that my soul is relieved…” Xailich said quietly finally allowing himself to look into her eyes once again. He no longer felt anything, just numb to the everyday pain, physical and emotional, that he was accustomed to. He wanted to thank her, but he thought she already understood that; even though he knew she could not have a clue what she was doing or had done. He waited quietly, for her, with his eyes fixed on hers.

Musa Saphire - February 18, 2007 02:58 AM (GMT)
He avoided her eyes for a second but met them. She smlied when his eyes met hers. "Its only just begun." Musa said quietly. Musa was slightly confused about all that had happened, she had been outgoing, and slightly seductive, he had been shy, but intriugeing. She wanted to vanish inside his kiss. Yes, they had danced. Some how it had numbed the pain that was hurting her for so long. But she knew that it would come back....the numb would wear off and she would have to endure the pain yet again. But she decided to enjoy it while it lasted. Her limbs became week and she fell down beside him on the grass. The moon was full and she looked up at it.

Xailich took a bit of a different interpretation from what she had said, and there was no time like the present for him to think about the future. He was honestly worried to the core about what all of this meant; he was sure that once she discovered his heritage, what he was, that she would hate him just as much as he hated himself. He could feel the dull pain in the brand slowly returning with the thoughts of his heritage and he looked down at it for a moment with slight annoyance. He instantly returned his gaze to her, hoping she wouldn’t notice that he had looked away; though he knew she would. They had remained eye contact for the most part in the past few moments and any break in it was like screaming, it was so obvious.

Though soon she would fall down nearby, and he would tear his eyes away from hers and bring himself back to reality. “I can’t decide whether this is actually reality or not; if it is, then I don’t really understand how it can be.” Xailich spoke those words, not really thinking about it, and he quickly added, “If the alternative is true… I hope that I sleep for an eternity.” He also didn’t really think this comment out either, just allowed what he was thinking to roll out; however, discussion of his heritage would arise soon enough, he also hoped that it would be an eternity before that happened.

(Hope that made sense…)

She was laying close to him on the grass, this made the cold from the lake go away. Musa laughed at his words. "Some times things happen, we dont know how or why, they just do." This kind of situation arrised very often in musa's life, but she learned to just let them be and not question it. To go with the flow, let the current carry you where ever it wants and in the end you are where you need to be. The current had carried her to Xailich, and somthing told her to tempt him, she did, and she felt like she was where she needed to be.

Though, he seemed to be worried about something, she couldnt imagine what. But something that was covered, that she couldnt see. Like the wings that werent on her back. Or the magic that flows through her vains. Some thing compicated, yet magnifisent that you cant see.

Xailich understood what she meant by that simply because he found himself in that place more often than not. His random actions typically lead to that kind of situation, which left him trying to undo everything that his compulsive actions built. He closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them realizing that sleep would not welcome him as long as he still had things on his mind. She was on his mind; and she was all that was on his mind at the moment, though before his mind had been racing from one random thought to the next, trying to decide what to act on. He knew that he was visibly having an internal struggle, which was hard for him to think about because it made so little sense to him.

Xailich believed in fate; and that was the best way he could describe what was always happening to him. He would reach a cliff, and instead of weighing the outcomes, he would think of them before not even considering them and jumping; hoping for the best. “I simply fall, hoping that fate’s hand is kind.” The comment was random, though Xailich thought it fit the situation well enough to be said. Xailich thought that for the most part, they communicated well enough; whether in random spurts of conversation or screaming in body language. He smirked at the though of what Musa though of him with the way he spoke to her; though it didn’t really seem to matter at this point. He was lost…

This whole situation had become confusing and complicated. Musa smiled, she loved the challenge and the mystery of complicated situations. They pulled her into their mystery like a black whole pulling in anything in its path. Musa got up from and broke the contact that had been going on for minutes it seemed, the water fall fed the lake crystals. She went into the water and walked on the smooth stones on the floor of the lake, She went to the base of the water fall and took a seat on one of the many large rocks that were at the base, water sprayed at musa's back as if releaving the tension. She put her hand where the water slid down the rocks quickly creating a white foam. Musa took some of the water in her hands. She looked up at the moon and summoned her power of light. She smiled and tossed the water in the air letting the moon reflect in every drop of water. The water began to transform into clear diamonds. Some fell into the water, for others to find. But two fell back into musa's hand. She smiled and touched the smooth surface with her fingers. "Fate has many sides, you just hope that the one it shows you works in your favor." Musa said looking at the many sides of the daimonds.
