Title: A dark chase
Description: I need a really good boy villain

Musa ran through the mountain as fast as she could in heals. Someone was following her, her mucles began to ache, she fell, exhausted. The grass below her was soft and a brilliant shade of green the tall tree's blocked the sun. She heard heavy boots on the floor. A silhouette of a man stood before her, his gleaming sword out. She cringed as he began to speak.......

Koda let his fingers trace the pattern slowly across the surface of one of the trees he passed, his dark eyes skipping from flickering shadow to shadow. He was still unsure about the place. Never before had he seen anywhere where water simply fell from stone as he had heard from a travelling man he had run into not a few days before. He imagined the faces of his friends back home upon telling them of what he had encountered. Perhaps the civil war would finish if they knew there were better, more prosperous lands.

A sound to his left stole his breath, had his hand shooting back to snatch up his weapon from the leather ties. His hearing sharpened, locked onto the source of the sound. A woman, by the sound of the footfalls. And someone else.

He broke into a run, awkwardly avoiding tree branches and roots, trying to keep his weapon at the ready. There; flashing shapes just outside of the line of foliage. He broke free of the trees in a crash and fell into a precise roll, aiming his body and then snapping upright with his muscles tensed and his spear in a defensive position. The mans blade hit his with more force than he was prepared to, but he grunted and forced more strength to his back, gritting his teeth and levering himself between the woman and her apparent attacker.

Musa stood back up and looked gratefully at the guy that helped. Her attacker ran into the woods and when his back was turned she stuck out her tounge. She didnt under stand why he would want to kill her anyway. She turned to the guy that helped her. She smlied.

"Thanks." She held out her hand for him to shake. "But I had the situation under control.." She said more confidently than she felt.

Koda straightened slowly, watching incredulously as the man ran. What sort of man simply attacks a woman, and then runs when confronted? This place never ceased to confuse him. Clearing his throat he looked over his shoulder at the woman, his face blank and his eyes locks on hers. He lowered his weapon to his side, not quite ready to puit it away just yet and simply watched her. She seemed harmless, just another skinny, dark-haired girl. What astounded him the most aout her was her apparent inbility to defend herself. He ignored her offer of a smile and turned the rest of the way to face her. He took her hand hesitantly, afraid of accidentally harming her, and then quickly took his hand back. She had green eyes.

He smiled rather grimly at her words, suddenly finding himself unable to see any good in this woman. He had just stopped a man from cleaving her clean in two, and she had the audacity to claim she had the situation under control? He rested the end of his spear on the top of his foot.
"Not what it looked like to me." He said quietly, his somewhat musical accent prominent.

Musa stood up straight and radiated as much confidance as she could muster. She would have faught but, their was no need, this dude saved her besides, those bad guys always say something humerous before acting and she was a tad bit curious to see what he would have said. But curiosity killed the cat. She kept her green eyes locked oh his.

She rolled her eyes. "Well maybe not."

((Sorry if this sucks))

Koda studied the woman a moment longer before sliding his spear back into the leather holsters on his back. She seemed sure of herself despite the fact that only moments before she had been facing an armed man with no weapon of her own. Koda wondered if she was right in the mind, to have shaken off something that would have frightened any normal person out of their wits. Nearing frustration he ran the edge of his bottom lip through his teeth, not sure what to make of the woman. He couldn't decide if she was overly confidant, branve even, or just plain stupid. He was the first to break their gaze, glancing anxiously at his feet.

Her next comment eased his tension. She had indeed not been in control of that situation, and he was glad she wasn't too stubborn to still claim otherwise. A brief smile stole across his face, but he smoothed his features and brought his eyes back up to hers.

"So I don't suppose you knew him then?" He said, trying to avoid the awkward silence he could feel developing. He knew the answer already, he wasn't completely useless when it came to reading eyes, but he decided it was a safe thing to ask.

Now, musa wasnt overly confident she just wasnt into the whole helpless stupid girl who needs a guy to save her. She would rather save her self and most the time a knight in shinning aurmor just dosnt show up and because one did this time she wasnt sure what to do. She tossed her dark brown hair out of her face.

"A vampire." She said, a vampire has been stalking her for months and she had no idea why, she ahd done nothing to tick him off or anything but she had gotten away before, she could do it again. "Thanks by the way." She said half muttering.

Something had changed about her, as she seemed to shift her stance yet again and call upon some sort of inner stength Koda didn't know why she needed just then. He felt his eyebrow raise slightly, questioning, but he forced it back down. Perhaps she was stubborn, after all. He watched inquizitively as she flipped her hair out of her face, suddenly finding himself intruiged by her. Why had she been cowering on the ground from a blundering idiot with a poorly made sword one second and proudly proclaiming her strength and independance the next?

He ran a hand back through his hair, staring at her in disbelief at her confession of having a vampire trying to kill her. As far as he knew, vampires were hardly the type to charge up on their victims and savagely hack them into pieces with large weaponry. He cocked his head slightly to the side, frowning in thought. Perhaps the girl was delusional. Koda glanced at her briefly, pondering that. Not quite insane, merely... not well. He straightened and rather awkwardly cleared his throat as she thanked him, nodding that it wasn't a problem. Her apparent reluctance to thank him, however, grated.

"So then... You've got vampire problems?" He said, frowning.

Musa Saphire - February 4, 2007 08:24 PM (GMT)
"Yeah, I do unfortunatly, and their not even proper vampiers ethier! their stupid ones." She said frustrated. She didnt ask for vampire problems, but the least the vampires could do was be at least alittle intellagent. But no.

A stinging pain suddinly came from her leg, she squeezed her eyes shut trying to to tear. She looked down and saw a deep scrape a little below her knee. She cursed then she ripped of a piece of her skirt and wrapped it arround her knee. She fell to the floor suddinly realizing how exhausting that had been and how tierd she really was. The canopy of tree's above their head were a bright green close to the shade of her eyes. The green leaves on the floor of the forest were quite soft almost like green velvet. She sat up again and leaned up against the trunk of a tree then looked back at her rescuer.

"So how did you find me anyway?"
