Title: And When The Sky Opened (con)

(last three posts in order of posting)
The ancient ruins were lost in oblivion in its complete desolate silence. It was impossible to imagine what events took place, or who and what was the cause of such destruction. Anexia looked up at the arch she stood under when she made her enterance and noticed the specs of rubble falling, making its way to join the rest of the motes of dust that glittered in the suns dim light. She took this time to relax herself, as she felt like a very lost person. Anexia enjoyed herself in this time alone silently...untill, he...ruined....everything!

Anexia sat there, with her fists clenched tightly, angered by the interruption. She noticed the creature tumble down the puddle before her. But then, her face opened up, and gave off a tiny smile. Her eyes were caught staring at the cute little fuzzball. She noticed it took a hard fall, and began to wonder if it was okay, or in a serious condition. If this little fuzzy creature was in no shape to pick its little body up off the ground, Anexia would sit there and watch the little thing die on its own. She didnt really know how she felt anymore about his interrupting the peace and silence.

Anexia always put it in a complex way, and began to accept the idea that you were god's unwanted children. She sat there watching the tiny fellow. He must have been completely out of his blasted mind if he thought Anexia was going to help him up. Anexia wasnt much of a talker, but she spoke a few kind words to theh little fellow to help encourage him back on his feet. "Your a cute little devil, but soon you'll learn to accept your own fate. Get up! You are God's unwanted children." These were her words of encouragement. She didnt care what he thought afterwards. But if he managed to pick himself up, he then would have already prove himself strong and worthy to Anexia.

Tock mumbled and groaned softly to himself as he lay on the ground with his back in the air. He laid there still, afraid to find that he had broken something during his fall, but line of thinking did chance to change before some one started yelling at him, after all what help could lying in the uncomfortable remains of a puddle do? Just as he was starting to get up, his ears were greeted with the words of a girl. Up until now he'd had no hint that the people of this world also knew that it was a hateful sinful thing to have red wings, but the girl had ended that streak. Maybe that was the reason why nobody ever wanted to help him even at the academy of arms.

"I know and I'd appreciate it if you didn't remind me. I already have enough reminders," Tock replied as he brought himself to his feet. Anger did not show in his voice and he wasn't angery, after all he of course was some unloved, unwanted child of the gods. Why else would he be an omen of bad luck? Why else would he be born with vile red wings, clumsy legs, and the inablity to do anything right. He couldn't much blame his parents for not loving him, after all how could they be expected to love that which even the gods had no love for.

Tock's eyes roamed upward to get a view of the mysterious speaker ad he wiped himself off and made sure he hadn't broken anything in his fall. He even gave his wings a breif flutter to make sure they hand't been damaged, but no the wings were perfectly fine and would probably be the last parts of his body to break or become damaged. The voice appeared to belong to a curiously dressed human girl. She was sitting on a coloumn and probably had been there for a while. He hoped he hadn't disturbed her or anything, but he knew he probably had and opted to go ahead and apologize. "I'm sorry, if I disturbed you... It was an accident," Tock said slowly with a slight bow.

It appeared to be that this creature was helpless and deprived. After all, it was completely understandable considering his size. Anexia could see that he did not mean to be such a disturbance, but she felt it was no different. Anexia remained sitting on the coloumn, as she noticed the creature picking himself up off the ground. Perhaps Anexia was wrong about him. After all he did manage to find his way back on his feet. Tock was worthy and strong despite his size. He had proved himself, though Anexia disliked his attitude. But perhaps it was the size he lacked. Of course, she knew he could not help it that he was such a small fellow. She managed to go light on him.

"What is your name, helpless one?
Do you have one?"

Anexia snapped but tried to not be so rash. There were many questions she intended to ask, but Anexia wasnt much of a talker to the those she was not fond of. She began to have second thoughts on the little one. There was chance that Anexia would accept him, but she no hopes on it. Though she did find herself here to have rid her mind off the the thoughts she was confused about. Anexia decided that it would not hurt so much if he stuck around for a bit.

Anexia removed her sight off him and fixed her attention on something elsewhere.
A deep sigh was heard from the mutant as she stared at the endless sky. Before Tock was given anymore chance to respond, Anexia quickly interrupted, "What is it that brings you here!?" Anexia looked down at him once again and chuckled.

(My latest post)

Helpless, she knew about that too, but that came as no surprise, for it might as well have been branded on his forehead. Still, he had tried to make it so he didn't need to depend on others for help. His attempts hadn't gotten him far but they had indeed gotten him somewhere. He at least knew how basically to use a blade, but there was still nothing helping him overcome the considerable size difference he would have with most of his opponets.

Tock was about to answer, but halted when she turned her gaze to the sky. Had she lost intrest in his reply or had she she just tired of the sight of his evil red wings. Maybe she she felt sorry for her brashness. He opened his mouth again to answer, but was this time interrupted by another question. At least this time her mood seemed to have imporved and she chuckled.

"My name is Tock," Tock said taking another bow. "I am here by accident Ma'am. I kinda just lost my way," Tock explained as he came up. He decided that she probably didn't want to know the full reasons behind him getting lost and probably wouldn't care much anyways.

"Would it be wrong to ask for your name, ma'am?" Tock said timidly trying to polite. He didn't want to upset her any more than he already had and it seemed that that was quite a bit by the way she had been talking to him, or maybe that was just her noticing that he was a cursed, unlucky, helpless, and strange creature.
