demus wants to traain

demus wonders about wondering what he could possibly learn here with out a sword.....

Athiyk noticed the new stranger and watched him with hard blue eyes. When it came to warriors, she expected them to be confident and know what they were doing. This man seemed to be lost and trying to figure out what he was supposed to do.

She smirked. Green, she thought immediately to herself.

demus noted to him self that he must look like an idiot at the training hall without any weapons , let alone a sword...he knew he was in the process of purchasing weapons at this very moment...but the shipping times wewre horendous...he felt that if he came here and met the people he would get a feel for it , before he actually began to do battle here....."hmmmm have we met before?....i cant seem to remember....my memory fails me at times...i think sometimes it is better not to remeber...so .....what is your story?, we all seem to have one..."

"I'll assume your talking to me?" she smiled playfully. "My story is for me and my friends to know. And perhaps you will learn it someday. I am Athiyk."

She knew she must have seemed intimidating. She wore all her weapons at the academy. Both scimitars hung from her hips, along with her masterwork chakram and her daggers were in place, one in her boot, the other at her back. Her quiver was also slung over her shoulder.

"very nice to meet you, i too like to keep to myself , and yes i apaulogize for not adressing you directly....and let me not allow my maners to escape me...i am demus, and i would like to know where one can go to practice in the general street fighting and martial arts, as i am very interested in doing so....i am quite rusty after my journey.....i hope that our meeting will be the beggining of a fruitfull relationship, and not that of a problem.....i seem to have that problem with many people, my type seem to be unherd of in this area, and unwelcome as well...."

Athiyk nodded. "Things'll get easier. Imythess is a big place and is easy to get lost in, but I try my best to steer newcomers such as yourself into the right direction. Do you know any hand-to-hand combat without weapons? If you don't, I am far from an expert, but I could help a bit I suppose."

"i have taken down many a foe with my bare hands, but this was in a time and place where my powers far surpassed that which they are at the present time, and i am quite particular to the katans of your lands, my ancestors forged a similar blade, from their own powers of darkness, and i was quite skilled with this blade, so i am going to test the weapons of your land, and see what is to my likeings....and yes i would much enjoy a little interaction....i have not spoke to another for sometime..most do not respond to me...i had assumed it was the wings...but i see many with similar, i do appaulogize for my rambling...it has been so long since my voice has been used for conversation...i worry i will forget how..."

She laughed a little. "Wings are while uncommon, are not unheard of here. You think having wings are bad, try going around the surface with obsidian skin and snow white hair like me. You'd be surprised how many suspicious looks you would recieve."

"ive always found beauty , or at least interest, in that which is uncommon, or strays from the normal, im sure there are more of your kind however, i do not have that luxury.....i am one in small number of a kind, many of which are still enslaved as i once was.."

Athiyk spoke bitterly when mentioning Lolth and her people. She had long since rejected them and had seen her exile as a blessing.

"well it comes to mind that you might try to mend what ever it is that has caused the problems between you and your people....you may grow to miss them, and when they are gone, the feeling of lonesomeness is unbeleivably hard to get past...but this is from a being who does not know your history, and understands why you would keep it to your self....all too well....but enough of this, where do we go from here to train , or what ever it is that you spoke of....i cannot tell by your stature, i have learned that size can be misleading, but is it possible that i will hurt you in combat? should i worry of tihs? "
