Romanus trudge from Cascadia, heading towards the statue that the people all seemed to worship. He wished to see it for himself, for he thought it was foolish to worship something made of stone. He didn't reach the statue until long after dark, but the full moon illuminated the statue brightly. He could hear the waterfall nearby, andwalked over to it. He dunked his head in and drank deeply. He had forgot to pack any food or drink in his curiosity of the statue. He smacked his lips after pulling his head out of the water. It tasted very good. He then stood up and walked back over to the statue, and observed it.
It looked very regal, holding it's sword like it was going to defend the city that worshipped it. The moonlight even made it look as if it was ready to move off and do something other than stand their all eternity. "Well, are you really a god, or are you just stone?" He laughed slightly, knowing that it couldn't answer him.He poked it in the left leg slightly, and sure enough, it was stone. "Well, almighty one, I suppose now you will smite me?" He just laughed.
