The rain was pouring thickly as the female Elf stepped from the shadows and began her trek to the Academy of Magic. She had been here twice, now, since her initial presence in Imythess, and so far she enjoyed it. It reminded her of the magic she was attempting to learn in the palace before she was taken by the mage’s. She sighed, thrusting the thought –casually- from her mind as she continued her journey. Tendrils of black hair fell upon her pale face, the glacier blue orbs flecked with gold only creasing under the brow as she swiped them back once again. She, once again, wore the dark leather clothing she always wore, which truthfully offered no protection, but she initially liked wearing it. She did not bring the enchanted blades with her today, but her sickles were sheathed on her thighs, and the two chakrams –New Moon and Fading Sun- were sheathed below her shoulder blade, though she doubted to find battle here. She needed guidance, so she would provoke nothing.
She had only met Ace once in her two visits –the other time she slipped in, and then left- but she knew he was a kind person if she did not provoke him, and since she had decided to focus on the Mage Craft she enjoyed so much, after purchasing all the weaponry she wished for, all she needed to do was visit this library and learn what she could. Would Ace give her guidance? Truthfully, she was unsure, and quite terrified of the prospect, for she was not one to ask for help on a regular basis, and she was definitely not one to commonly ask for help when it came to her craft. She was only –technically- an aspiring mage at the moment, but she hoped that in the future she would have all the magic and power she needed –and quite possibly wished for. She was no fool, and she was extremely ready to do everything she could to learn from Ace, the Master of Magic, besides the Goddess of Magic, Lotlomendil. She would not get on the subject of the goddess.
A thin smile played across her pale lips, and she glided forward with elegance as she moved through the large doors of the Academy, hurrying swiftly past the warm bodies, and ducking through two doors to her left with a large crimson sign sitting next to them, which read: LIBRARY. She sighed, shrugging the water droplets from her hair and brushing of the water that had collected against the crimson blouse underneath the leather bodice she wore across her stomach. The sun was a beautiful thing –when it was not shrouded by clouds and rain- but she could not protest. For the longest time, she had lived in the Night, and was not used to seeing the sun at all, so the rain during the day was a nice surprise –she supposed.
Ace… Her words came out as a murmur, and she seemed to seem shocked that they were so low. Her eyes seemed to twitch slightly as she realized she was some how nervous about this time. She had never been nervous about this mage known as Ace, but she did get nervous every time she went to practice her magic. A lot of the time, the spells she called as her own, the spells of a sorceress, came out wrong and she was too terrified to try again, though she always played it off. Maybe Ace could help, she prompted herself, and this time spoke much, much louder, her voice echoing across the volumes of books in this magical library. Ace, I request your presence…
