Title: Walking through the forest
Description: Open to anyone

Hymwen Darkstar - February 28, 2006 03:32 AM (GMT)
Hymwen walked through the forest on a beautiful day with the sun out and no clouds. She walked gracefully and with no sound except when she walks on leave. There was a bit of snow but not much and it starting to melt. The trees were beautiful. Hymwen whistled and a beautiful eagle came into view and soon landed on Hymwen's shoulder. She smiled and the eagle came down on Hymwen's forearm and Hymwen started to stroke its feathers. Soon the eagle flyed of her arm and flyed away into the sky. She smiled more and walked around the forest and then she came upon her horse that was grazing in a clearing. Its head looked up when it heard Hymwen's footfalls.

"Steady, girl," She said walking to the horse and the horse didn't move but watched Hymwen. "Its me, Hymwen." She said to the horse as she open her pack and pulled out a bridle and slipped it over the horse's muzzle and set on right. Hymwen then jumped onto the horse's back and held the reins in a firm grip, and she then kicked the sides of the horse lightly and the horse started to walk through the forest and looked up at everything that moved.

I wish I were home, to see Hymsong again and mother and my father, she thought riding on the horse's back, home would be nice, but then again this place is nice, it would be nice to meet someone and have children, but no, I have business here, she thought a bit sadly but then turn her thoughts about where her brother is.

Eden - February 28, 2006 06:42 AM (GMT)
The sun was up in the middle of the sky, telling Eden that it was midday. He was riding on Pegasus, his bow at the ready with a knocked arrow. It was time to hunt for small game. He needed some food; his food supply was running low. Other that that, he had to forage for vegetables and fruit as well. This task would take all day long and he only had half a pouch of forages.

Ever since training with Pegasus, hunting had gotten easier. Pegasus was more aware of what was going on and became silent. He moved when he needed to. Eden spotted a horse off in the distance and readied his bow. With deep concentration, he aimed for the horse and was ready to release. Just before he let the fly to its target, he heard a voice. It was a female voice. Eden lowered the bow and watched. There was a woman.

Eden squeezed Pegasus’ sides and off they went. In just a few seconds, they were near. Pegasus slowed to a halt and stopped. Eden called out to the woman, “You there. You should be more careful. Have your horse nearer to you. I nearly took him down my arrow.”

Shain Volgornd - February 28, 2006 03:16 PM (GMT)
Shain was walking silently through the forest, Whyverin padding along beside him. It was a rather nice day to be out, and he had hoped to reach a town befroe nightfall. He neaded directons, but Shain figured that he could probably find some on to give them. This was a well travelled forest. He was appraoching the dge of the forest, or pehaps it was a very large clearing. If he looked hard enough, he could see more trees in the distance. "Well, what do feel like doing Whyv," he asked, looking toward the greast cat to his left. She was an umbra, a magical beast that he had purchased in the town near gloomwood. the yhad become friends in a short amount of time, and now held many conversations. Or rather, Shain would speak, then Whyverin would send an emtional message toward him telathicaly. Whyverin looked up at him for a moment, then turned her head away sniffing the air. Shain looked at her for a moment, then suddenly received her message. Play-fullness and hunger, and the feeling of someone near. Shain grinned. She wanted to hunt, and had already found her prey.

Out of nowhere it seemed, a horse's footfalls could be heard. Shain raised his hand to stay Whyverin, looking for the source. He also heard the sound of wings. Looking up, he spotted a man riding a winged hors, a pegasus, his bow amed toward the ground. Stalking silently toward the area that the bow appeared to be pointed, he saw a horse grazing in the grass, a woman coming over to it. Peering upward again, he saw that the bow had been lowered. Probably of the same mind set as Whyverin, thinking of a hunt. He heard the man call down to the woman, telling her to be more careful with her animals. Shain decided to show himself at that time as well.

"I agree," he said walking out of the forest. "Whyverin here had plans to eat your horse.' He motioned to the umbra at his side, smirking as she growled in response.

Eden - February 28, 2006 05:20 PM (GMT)
Pegasus was startled at the sudden appearance of the other stranger. The large winged horse reared and neighed. Eden raised his bow and arrow, aiming for the sudden distraction. The rearing horse was not a problem for Eden, now that he had the proper training. The arrow was pointed at the man’s head, aching to be released to its target. Pegasus finally calmed but kept his alert level high. Eden did not blame the horse for being surprised, the man had come out of nowhere.

Arrow knocked and held tight, Eden steady Pegasus. The horse was wanting to charge at the new stranger. Pegasus did not take well to being surprised…. He was a prideful horse. Eden was now full aware of his surroundings. There was not supposed to be people out in this clearing. He was suspicious as to what they were doing here. “Stay where you are. Pegasus here will charge at you if you take one more step.”

Hymwen Darkstar - February 28, 2006 09:21 PM (GMT)
Hymwen tesned up when a man on a winged but beautiful horse fly down, and she replyed to the man. "My horse is not trained and knows when to run," And then another man came out and she tesned up more. "If you were hungry I can tell you horse's don't tast good, and they really don't tast good for cats." She said calming looking at the umbra. Sitting on her horse's back. She listened to the men and as the Pegasus reared. She tensed up a bit jumping off her horse she ran in front of Shain. Her hand rested on her long sword and she said, "remove your bow good sir." She said a bit of fear in her voice but there was also anger.

"I will not see bloodshed this day." She snarled looking at Eden. "Please remove the bow." She said calmliy. Hymwen whistled and a eagle came into veiw and the eagle landed on Hymwen's shoulder. Oh please put the bow down, please, she thought worryed that the men will fight, but Hymwen stood in front of Shain so he would not fight and so the other would not. Hymwen stood there still watching the man on the Pegasus with her elven eyes.

Shain Volgornd - March 10, 2006 01:56 AM (GMT)
Shain looked upward at the man. He had an arrow trained on Shain, yet SHain did not show any emotion at all. Whyverin growled at his side. "Sir," he called up. "If you wouldn't mind, please put the bow down. Or Can your horse stay in flight while being attacked mentaly." Shain did not meen it as a threat, but Whyverin had come into conntact with one other flying creature who thought it was better than she. She had attacked and gained a good advantage. He knew that She was preparing to do so this instant.

Shain saw no movement from him. "I meen no harm. Please lower the bow." He waited for the man to respond, hoping he did so. Habving to kill people was not a good way to meet someone else.
