Title: Forested Water[p]
Description: Lánilmathién

Romanus was wandering through the forest, sword at his side as usual. He hadn't been here for quite some time. He had left Taras the day before, heading for the lake. He liked it there, though he couldn't explain the reason why. He paused for a moment when he heard a snap. Suddenly he jumped backwards, and a tree fell right where he'd been standing. He glared at it, then climbed over it and continued on towards the lake.
When he finally arrived, he smiled. It was unchange, the fresh air with the smell of trees and animals. The water was clear and still. He could almost see to the bottom of the lake, and he knew it was deep. He went over to the water and put his hand into it, then jerked it back. It was very cold. He sighed and looked up at the sky. He noticed that clouds were beginning to gather over the forest. He guessed it would rain later in the day. He sighed and looked back at the water, and just stood there, absently staring at the water.

Lánilmathién was not one to generally travel through this part of Imythess -actually, she had never been here before. A Curious streak in her own mind had pushed her threw the surrounding area, leaving the Song of the Elf Inn and Tavern in Taras not but yesterday, and traveling slowly. She owned no familiars to travel with, to lead her as she moved, but she cared little. She enjoyed the time she spent alone, just traveling through the darkened area, rejoicing randomly in the sun with excitement, and then running randomly with excitement. Her skin was pale, and that of a Moon Elves, her eyes remaining a cool and cold blue, with beautiful golden flesks cascading along the outstretches of her pupil, a clear sign of her Sun elf heritage. Her pointed ears gently pushed back behind tendrils of unevenly cropped jet hair, and a single smile stroked upon her face as she moved in swift recession, her feet treading on the ground softly, almost rhytmically as she moved. Truthfully, she did not know where she was going, much less care in any instances.
A single smile flashed upon her thin, cold lips as she entered a clearing, the lake's gentle movements caressing the shore. The water was cool and clear, but still with hints of reflections upon it as the female stared down into it, the transition period between the Moon and the Sun, the Night and the Day, strong in her mind as she watched this area. She was strangely amused, her eyes wandering up as she noticed someone she had yet to realize was standing there. His own eyes were fixed on the water, and he did not move, as though his trance like state would not affect his words if he were to speak now. She looked up carefully, her eyes flickering up as she looked at the face of the man, her eyes never wavering as she looked strangely, attempting to learn all she could of the man before she spoke.
Strange, but this twilight period is always my favorite time of the day. Names Lánilmathién... She did not extend her hand to the man, but smiled gently.

Romanus didn't notice as the elf walked up. He was so intently looking at the water he almost didn't even hear her. He did though, and looked at her. He stared. In front of him was something he had never seen before, some sort of elf with pale skin, blue eyes with flecks of gold, and black hair. She was honestly the most beautiful creature he had ever seen, but quickly remembered she had spoken. "I am Romanus. And it is a fine time of day indeed, but it will rain soon."He pointed up to the gathering clouds.
He looked up at them, and saw only a few patches of blue left, everything else covered by roiling black clouds. He then looked back at her. He just couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful she was, but controlled himself from doing something stupid. He looked back at the water again, then blinked. The patches of blue in the sky were casting a strange pattern upon the water, like a star that had long whips extending from each point. "Now isn't that a strange sight...."

At his words, she looked to the sky, her eyes suddenly soft and clear as she looked quietly. The female was not known for her ability to be kind, or even care generally, but suddenly, she couldn't help but caring. her eyes, though pointed upwards, were soft and it appeared as water was generally gathering close to the brim, though she forced them back, refusing the cry. She loved the rain, but when it stopped the sun from shining through the clouds, she did not like it. Of course, she was not one to generally dance in the rain, and almost always found shelter, but as she anticipated the rain falling, she did not move and inch, but instead looked down at the lake once more. The apttern was unusual, but she had seen stranger.
You should see it when somethign is flying through the clouds, weaving as though there was no tomorrow. It's so...beautiful, I guess would be a good way to put it. Magic weaves through the lake, or so I would assume, because it is always so peaceful and tranquil, as though someone cannot fight here without worrying about damaging everything.
She sighed as the rain began to fall, a single drop touching her flesh first as she began to lookn to the sky once more. The ripples in the water were in the corner of her eye sight, gently moving out and stretching softly as she wished to swim. The water was always a cool and calm area. She wanted to laugh, and swiftly, she began to jump around, spinning in circles carefully as the rain began to plaster her hair to her flesh.
Don't you just... She gasped with excitement as she continued to spin, stopping only for a second to look at the man with an analytical eye, ...love the rain?

Romanus smiled slightly as it began to rain, then watched the elf enter the water and begin to swim. By now the sky was black, leaving little light for which to see. He sat down and just watched her for awhile, until she spoke to him. "Do I love the rain? I do in fact, though not for any normal reasons than most." He loved the rain for a multitude of reasons, some normal and some not. But he rarely shared any reasons for anything at all.
He saw a stick laying near him and picked it up. Somehow, it was perfectly smooth, except for tiny pieces of wood coming out of it. He started just drawing patterns on the sand, each one increasingly more complex, until all the ground around him was covered with drawings. He then threw the stick into the trees and turned back to watch her. "Why do you like the rain?" He was curious now, she seemed to enjoy it.
