Title: The return of one lost
Description: open

Tari walked into the tavern after about a year of being away. she had gone back to her home. A punishment to herself she knew but she did it anyway. The memories had been more than she could handle even if the forest had mostly taken over her home. It had been like walking into a ghost world. The smell of burnt wood had still been in the air. Weather she imagined it or not she couldnt tell. She looked around and for the first time saw no one she reconised. God has it been so long? I feel like i just walked into someplace i dont want to be... someplace forbiden to me. She thought this as she looked around in the crowded room for a place to rest her very weary legs. She found a spot in the corner, somewhat sucluded and devoid of most light. she walked over and sat, eyes following the supposed stranger to her seat.
she looked around challenging any and all whos eyes lingered longer than she liked and when was satisfied that no one would challenge her she withdrew into herself and her memories.

He never entered taverns much... infact, he rarely even set foot near them. Was it the stink of ale fumes that detered Hellstrike? Or was it perhaps the belches and laughter that made him angry? Or was it that everyone knew their place and Hellstrike knew nothing about what he should be doing...
At this point, Hellstrike was wearing a ripped cloak over his body... the hood covering his face so that his mask was barely visable. Thankfully, no-one was looking at him in a funny way which meant that people assumed he was human.
Human...
He hadn't felt human in a long while... and he doubted that he ever would feel human ever again. Hellstrike sat down at the nearest table and cursed to himself when he saw that he was sitting next to a young woman who appeared to be lost in thoughts... daydreaming in fact.
Ahhh to dream... Hellstrike once dreamed happy dreams. But now his dreams were empty, full of sadness, anger and death. In secret, he envied this young woman and her ability to dream so easily.

Tari didnt see the stranger walk in, nor did she see that he had in fact came and sat next to her. She was suck in the past and the thoughts of where she knew she should be going. Zandalor..... It had been over a year since she had last seen him. they had been good companions and she was nervious about the ruinion. she cursed herself for the emotion. she thought it made her feel weak even though she knew better.
The table shifting made her look up and finally notice that she had company. though she didnt know who it was she was determined not to get in a fight. Rude to sit with someone and not identify your self but im to weary to skip the nicities. She thought all this while she sized up the stranger.
Can I help you stranger? Its usually customary to introduce yourself upon sitting down with someone whom doesnt know you and to see if they even want you there. Srew the nicities. She thought. she was to tiered to really care anymore. It had been a long day of travel and she had had about all she could of being nice to people.

Hellstrike didn't look up at the person opposite him. She didn't sound too friendly and did sound angry that he had chosen to sit near her, but he didn't care what she felt to be honest. He just needed to rest and he chose the seat nearest to him... no matter who was sat on the opposite side.
"I would introduce myself... but I don't know who I am. I don't know where I come from, what my hair colour is... or even what species I am. For now I am simply known as Hellstrike, though people do not speak to me because of what I look like..."
It was true, no-one ever did speak to him... especially in the tone that this woman had spoken to him. But he wasn't angry with her, infact he admired her bravery because speaking to anyone else like that would have easily started a brawl. Good thing Hellstrike wasn't interested in fighting today...

She looked at him puzzeled. Many people around here she had found didnt always know where they came from but the fact that he didnt know what he was startled her. She sensed that he was troubled and felt bad that she had spoken to him in such a manner.
Im sorry for speaking to you in such a hard manner Hellstrike but I fear that you have cought me in a rare mood. I have been traveling for a long time now and I am weary and I took it out on you. I do appologise. My name is Tarí Nólatári. I do not come from around here. Perhaps some day I will find myself comfortable enough with you to tell you about where I come from but for now please accept the honest fact that I dont feel like talking about where i come from.
She was trying to be friendly with him not because she felt bad for him but because she realized how mean she must have sounded to him. She sighed and looked at her slender hands which were clasped infront of her, resting on the table.
