Title: At the lake
Description: [p] for Shain

Nightwind - February 14, 2006 01:18 AM (GMT)
The dawn breaked out as a black and green dragon soared over the lake. Sava had a humen on her back as she started to land. When her feet touched the ground she smiled and suddenly jumped into thw water with joy. She loved the feeling of water, it went around the scales. She then remembered about the humen and suddenly jumped out of the water and turned her head around to see if he was alright.

"OH." She said. "Am so sorry I forget you were there." She said not smiling but look sorry for what she did. I'm so stupid, she thought turning her head around and looked towerds the sun. The sun was beautiful and lovely and it looked like it walked on the water. She turned back to the man. "I am sorry." She said, sadness in her eyes.

Shain Volgornd - February 14, 2006 01:40 AM (GMT)
Shain was enjoying the ride. So this is what it's like to fly, he thought. he hoped that there was some sort of spell that he could learn for this. Looking over Sava's back, he watched as trees and plains flew underneath them. They were aproaching a lake. Suddenly the dragon dove toward the the dark water. Shain yelled as it closed over him. Bloody dragon, dunking him in the water like that. He came up sputtering and laughing at the same time. She had caused him a great deal of fun recently. Looking around the lake, he saw a dark spot rising. Sava's head broke through the surfface and looked around for him. When she found Shain, she appoligized for taking him in the water like that. laughing, he responded, "Don't worry about it. I'll just set my clothes out to dry and swim for a bit."

Paddling over to the shore, Shain got out and removed his weapon first. then he took off his cloak, shirt and boots, leaving only his greaches. Tossing them over the low branches of a tree, he turned and walked back toward the lake. Hurrling himself back in, he peered through the murky depths. he could see a fair ways through the water. Coming up, he turned toward Sava. "Well, since we're all the way out hee, why don't we talk about the bloody guards. tell me what you did to get on their bad side, and ill tell you what I did. If you want of course."

Nightwind - February 14, 2006 01:59 AM (GMT)
Sava smiled climbing out and walked around a bit the grabed a tree with her front claws. She riped the tree out from the ground, then she sat it on the ground the broke it into pieces, it took her about 5 minutes till it was broken into peices. She made and small pile and then breathed fire and then there was a fire made. Sava then put Shain's clothe near the fire so they will dry, she was careful not to claw the shirt as she moved it with her clawed feet. When she was done with that she changed into her human form.

When she was human she sat down next to the fire looking into it for a long time then turned to Shain. "The guards are after me because I am a black and green dragon, and these type of dragons are evil, they kill for fun, but am not like that, but they still think I'm evil." She said and you could tell that there was rage in her voice as she spoke.

She turned her head to the fire again and started to play with her hair. "Bloody guards." She snarled. "They don't know whats good and evil." She said. She turned her head to the water and suddenly stood and there was fear in her eyes as she watched the water, soon her eyes calmed and she sat back down. "People seek to hunt dragons for sport." She said in anger.

Shain Volgornd - February 14, 2006 02:26 AM (GMT)
Shain watched her from the fire. He looked away when she changed back into her human form, he didn't know if her clothes came bak. After she began talking, he dared a peak, finding that they did. Getting out of the lake, he walked over to the fire and sat down on the log beside her. Listening to her story, he nodded. He could relate to the evil part. As a half drow, he was thought to be murderous like all others. the other reason was that he was an assassin. In truth, Shain was not evil nor was he good. Honestly, he didn't give a lick about ether one. all he did care about was his job, his purse, and his life. recently, he had started to make friends. Now he would help to defend their life with his, whether they were good or evil.

As SHe finished her story, Shain began his. "I am a half breed of elf. I had a drow mother, and have a moon elf father. Because of my heritage, I am hunted by human. They focus on the drow side, thinking i am the same sort of maniacla killer they are. I am also hunted by the drow. Since my mother fell in love with a moon elf and had me, I am an abomination in their eyes." he felt the beginings of tears. "They seek to sacrifice me to their goddess, Lolth the Spider Queen. they have already found my mother and sacrifised her. I can not go home to my father. He all but threw me out at the age of fifty."

He looked sideways at Sava. She was one who knew part of his pain. It heloed to loosen it while he was talking to her. "The guards also attacked me because of my occupation. I am an assassin. it was the only job i could find that brought in decent amounts of money, and I wasn't questioned." After all, who questioned the assassin they hired. "It is true, the gaurds don't know good from evil. But they must do as commanded. Still, I have small pity on them." Shain looked over the lake. Sunlight danced upon the small waves on the surface.

Nightwind - February 14, 2006 02:42 AM (GMT)
Sava spat on the ground. "those bloody gaurds can burn in thepits of the abyss." She snarled then said in more anger. "My parents left me to die in the forest I was born in." She said in anger thinking of that day her parents left her in the forest to burn to death. She shaked the thoughts away and a tear seem to found its way down her chee, but she suddenly standed up and wiped it away fast.

She crossed her arms and walked to the edge of water mumbling. She did care much of what Shain said. She did hate assassin's because she had to kill so many. She didn't want to but they tryed to kill her so she had to, to protect herself, but they didn't last long because she can kill with a whip of her tail if she swings it hard. Her eyes where filled with rage and sadness as she thought about her sad past, like after being traped in a humen form for ten years, and nearly getting killed by her parents, and by wizards and gaurds.

"Well then your a half breed like me then." She said still looking at the water.

Zilena - February 14, 2006 03:55 AM (GMT)
((woops sorry, didnt see the P. I apologize.))

Shain Volgornd - February 14, 2006 03:21 PM (GMT)
Shain listened quietly as Sava continued her story. Well, she had had it worse than him, being abandoned at birth. Shain showed no surpprise as she staled off suddenly at his mention of assassins. She was probably hunted herself. Shain had been hunted by assassins before, though none had ever matched up to him. Shain saw the trickle of tears from her eyes as she stood at the lake. Shain was crying himself. He ussualy did when it came to his mother. She had stayed long enugh to teach him about the drow, their way of life. She had showed him their powers and weakness. And her last words were to remember thos instructions as she left. She knew she was being hunted, and he would be too. His father had kicked him out because of the shame he brought. And his face. his face was one of more dominant drow features, and closely resembled his mothers.

Standing up, he walked over to the lakes edge as well. "I understand your hate of assassins. I have been attacked as well. You shall never find me hunting you, however." He looked sideways at her. "By saving my life, and this conversation, you have joined the small group of my... friends." He had hesitated at the word. It was the only one to describe them, the others he had built any sort of relationship with. "And I will help you any way I can if you have need." a small grin appeared in spite of his sorrow. "Half breed's honor."

Hesitantly, he patted her shoulder. He had never had much need to comfort another. "Are you alright now?"

Nightwind - February 14, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
Sava smiled. "Am fine." Was all she said. 'Half breed's honor' She liked that, since she was a half black dragon and half green dragon, it wasn't much of a half breed but she was the some kin as dragons just other colors. She looked at the fire and saw that it needed wood. She walked to the fire and grabed some wood and put it on the fire then walked back to the lakes edge. "Half breed's honor...... I like that." She said smiling. "I am always being hunted but you have my friendship, to help you as much I can." She said still smiling.

She walked into the water a bit with her clothes on. when the water was up to her knees she onstraped her dagger that was on her ankle, then she onstraped her Scimitar, then she grabed her bag that held her flute and music. She sat her weapons and bag on the ground then jumped into the water and swimed under water for a long time that people would think she's dead but thenshe came up. Her hair was soaking and was sticking to her face, and her clothes were wet.

She layed down in the water floating on top of it. Sava soon went under water again and came up and brushed the hair out of her eyes and she floated there for awile. "I like the water better when am in dragon form." She said. "Why do humens and elf like to go fishing." She asked.

Shain Volgornd - February 16, 2006 01:39 AM (GMT)
Shain listened as Sava responded to his comment. He nodded his appriciation at her willingness to ever help him. He might need it some time. He watch in silence as she entered the lake, putting her dagger, scimitar, and musical items at the edge. She realy was graceful, even in human form. Once she went under, he wonderedf what he was going ot do now. He was in the middle of who knows where with no sense of dsirection. Well, that could wait. He was going to enjoy his small time off. Making sure his shirt and affects were't too close tothe fire, he searched the lake for Sava. She had been down for a while now. he began to approach the edge of the lake, looking across the surface. Suddenly, her head burst through the clear liquid. he shook his head. She was dragon, even in her current form. As he entered the water, he heard her quetion.

"I honestly don't know. I have never shown any intrest in it myself. Must be a test of patients, or something like that." Shain reached the point wher the watwer came to his waist. he suddenly plunged into it, diving down as far as his breath would take him. Looking upward through the lake, he saw Sava's form above him. he smirked as his lungs began to burn. He was going to find out how easily dragons scare. Rushing through the water, a thought came into his head. It might not be such a good idea, scareing a dragon. Well, Shain was one to take chances. As he reached her, he grabbed her ankles and heaved upward with all his might, throwing her out of the water. Coming up after her, he sucked in a breath of the cool air, laughing as she rose.

Nightwind - February 16, 2006 01:59 AM (GMT)
Sava let out a scream of fear as Shain throwed her into the air and when she was in the water again she turned to glare at Shain with angry eyes. Sava began to change into her dragon form. When she was a dragon again she went under water and it has been ten minuts and she then burst through the water behind Shain. Her eyes blazed with anger and happyness. She opened her large dragon mouth and lunged her neck out trying to catch hold of Shain's leg or a part of his body. She won't hurt him but teach him a lesson.

Her mouth touched water then she did it again and she stoped in mid lunge and she brought her tail up and ramed it hard against the water and a large wave came from it and it nearly got the fire and Sava let a roaring laughter. Shain wouldn't be able to hold himself against the large wave. "You dared to mess with me." She laughed.

Shain Volgornd - February 16, 2006 03:16 PM (GMT)
Shain watched as Sava rose, then once again entered the water with a splash. As she was under, shain noticed that her shape was changing. Oh crap! he thought. She was becoming dragon again. He began to swim toward the shore. That was, until she burst out of the water behind of him. He turned around and met her eyes starring strait at him. He slowly began to back stroke away from her. Then she bagan to snap at him. "Bloody dragons!" he yelped as he treid to escape. She barely missed every time she lunged. then her tail came up behind him and smashed into the water. Shai yeld again as he was swept back toward Sava with the wave.

As he aprroached her, he sucked in as much air as he could and dove beneath her. He swam with all his might underneath her and began to rise on the other side. His lungs were screaming for air, she was a whole lot lager in dragon form. Finaly his head broke the surface, lungs gasping, sucking in the damp air. Turning toward Sava, he grumbled "Can't you take a joke." Then he realized that she was laughing. She had returned his with one of her own. Shain was dumb founded. "Oh no you don't." he said with a grin creeping on his face.

Leaping through the water toward her, he latched on to one of her scales. they were a little difficult to hold on to since they were wet. Despite this, Shain began to climb up onto the great dragon, ussing the row of spikes on her back as a ladder. When he reached her kneck, he spoke to her again. "Now try and sweep me off." His laughter started again.

Nightwind - February 16, 2006 07:08 PM (GMT)
Sava laughed and flaped her wings and rised into the air. When she was ten foot in the air she droped into the water with a loud splash. "Of corse I can take a joke." She laughed looking for Shain. "You are the oddest of elves I have seen in my life." She said smiling. She went under water and swimed around and then came up with a fish in her mouth. She ate the fish and there was blood on her teeth as she smiled.

"And what do you mean by bloody dragons?" She said menacingly still looking for Shain. "Have you ever had some of this fish here, they tast great, some of the best I say." She said. She dived under water again and you could she a shadow in the water as she swimed around waiting to she what Shain was doing.

Shain Volgornd - February 17, 2006 01:48 AM (GMT)
Shian held on to Sava's back as she rose, then fell, luaghin the whole time. Before she hit the water, he lept from her back, diving into the water right before she hit. great waves roled over the surface above him as he was submerged. He rose once again. hearing her comment about him being an odd elf, he burst into hearty luaghter again. "I am a lonely elf who takes advantage of a good time. And my friend, you are a good time." He thought about the good time part. He had honestly had only a few in his life, and none lasted long. He now took every advantage he could, and this was one that was worth taking advantage of. This was the most fun he had had since he had been born.

As he watched Sava searchfor him, he was rigth behind her, he heard her comment of his remark about the "bloddy dragon". The nshe switched to fish. And Shain was odd she had said. As she dove under the water, he followed. While she was looking up for him, he was able to swim underneath her without her notice. A sudden thought came to him. Were dragons ticklish? Grinning under water, he thought he would find out. Of course, he would have to get past the scales. That might prove a problem. Shain decided he would try7 that if she changed back into human form. Instead, he suddenly head-butted her stomach. Stars burst before his eyes. Oh yeh, that was smart, he thought. Swimming to the surface, he sucked on fresh air, and rubed his head. Since when does the normal person decide to bash their head against a dragon's hide.

Nightwind - February 17, 2006 04:26 AM (GMT)
When Sava was above water she burst into dragon laughter. "You are a fool." She roared. She walked out of the water still laughing. She changed humen and her clothes soaked. She put wood on the fire thinking that they needed food. She turned to look at Shain eyes filled with joy. She walked to the edge of the lake and sat down her legs in the water. "Why did you try to hit me." She said smiling.

"It was a bit stupid hitting a dragons hide?" she said. "It must of hurt bad." She said trying to see if he was hurt. "It must be really fun to try and hit a dragon." She was still smiling. She got up and walked to her bag and took out a flute, and she sat down again and started to play a song on it. When she was done with the song she held the flute in her hands and looked at Shain with intent eyes trying to see if he planed on trying to do something crazy like he was doing.

Shain Volgornd - February 17, 2006 03:32 PM (GMT)
Shain swam a little oddly to the shore. His vission was normal again, but his head still hurt a bit. He heard Sava laugh her great dragon laughter. he then saw her pass him in human form, her cloathes soaked. Answering her question of trying to hit her he said, "Just trying to seee if I could scare you. Turns out, I nearly break my head open on your bloody hide." he dragged himself out and laid on the shore face up. he listened as she made another comment about his little feat. "Oh yes," he said sarcasticly, "tons of fun. You should try it some time. But in human form. It's no fun while you're a dragon." He laid silent for a while, until she began to play he rflute. It was a beautifal song. As she played, he got up and grabbed his cloak. Whiping himself off with it, he carreid over to beside Sava.

Sitting down, he waited till she finished her song. He handed her his cloak, saying "If you want do dry off, you can use this." thinking for a second, he added. "That was avery nice song you played. Are you a musician?" While she was preoccupeid in answering, he got up and walked behind her. He was going to pay her back for his head. He had remembered his thoughts while under her in the lake. Well, she was in human form now; time to see if she was ticklish. For a second, he flashed back to a memory of his mother. She had tickled him when he was young. She had had true compassion, a trait not often found in the drow. Shain had inheirated that trait.

Shaking himself back to the future, he strruck at Sava's armpits. That was the most tickleish part. He was ready to spring away at any time, in case she changed. He did not think would be able to master her when she was a dragon.

Nightwind - February 18, 2006 07:04 PM (GMT)
Sava took the cloak and dryed herself off a bit then sat it down next to her. "No am no musician, I just like to play this flute for fun." She said smiling.

When Shain tryed to tickle her she laughed and rolled out of Shain reach and crouched with one leg under her to hold her and the other leg out on the side of her. Her head shot towerds the forest and. She had heard a someone or something. To her it sounded like a twig was steped on. Sava turned to Shain and put a finger to her lips so he will be quiet. She standed up and walked without sound to her weapons but before she could ten bandits came out of the woods.

One of the bandits went behind her and grabed her hair and had a dagger to her throat. Sava snarled in anger and kicked the bandit in the knee and the bandit let go and fell to the ground. Sava ran to her weapons, grabed her Scimitar and onseathed it and slashed at a bandit that was close to her.

Shain Volgornd - February 19, 2006 01:47 AM (GMT)
Shain stopped his attempt when he heard movement in the night. Looking around, he edged his way back to his weapon. Suddenly, a group of bandits burst from the forest, shorts swords, daggers, and clubs waving wildly. he saw Sava take down one and go after another. Growling, he grabbed his dagger, and faced off four men at once. They began to chuckle at the odds, thinking that they would easily best him. A smile of his own crossed his face. Reaching inwards, he summoned farie fyre. his dagger burst into what seemed tike bluesih purple heatless flames. Shain made it race up his arm until it consumed him. Grinning at the four bandits, now wide eyed with shock, he attacked. He focussed on each wound as he slashed , making farie fyre appear on every one. The men went mad with fear.

Shain laughed. These people had no idea how to go about their job. He watched as the men treid to beat themselves out. Shaking his head, Shain plunged in once more. This time for the killing blows. The first man found a bloody grin carved from ear to ear across his neck. The second found the same. He plunged his dagger into the base of the third's skull, stepping away lightly as he fell back. He slid his dagger into the ribs of the fourth, watching his eyes glaze over in death. Turning around, he threw his dagger just in time to avoid being struck from behind. It entered the mans stomach.

Shai walked forward quickly and ripped it out. He clubbed the man over the head, knocking him cold. He wanted to question him. What gave him the bright idea of comiong into a camp like this. They should have scouted the place first. Shain thought that they may have been sent as soon as possible to ambush him or Sava, as they were both wanted for one reason or another. Turning quickly, he looked for where Sava was.

Nightwind - February 20, 2006 12:35 AM (GMT)
As Sava attacked the bandit she grabed his shirt pulled him onto her blade the thowed him to the ground. She then attacked a man close to her and slashed at him, the man lunged at her and it hit her in the leg. She fell to the ground and her weapon fell out of her hand and it was about five feet from her but that didn't stop her, she grabed the mans leg and made him fall and he did, she then grabed her dagger which was two feet from her. When her hand was on it she onseeathed hile the man was still on the ground. She held the dagger in a stronge grip and she drive it into the mans chest. He let out a cry of pain and the life left his eyes.

Sava standed up and a bandit attack her and she kicked him in the gut and the bandit roared in anger and lugned at her with his sword. She waited while the man charged at her, and when the man was close she slashed at him with her dagger. The man slashed his sword and Sava ducked out of the way and slashed at the man again and this time cut flesh. The man cryed out in pain and lunged again, Sava snarled and ran upto the man dived her dagger into the mans throat. The bandit fell to the ground with a thud.

Sava smiled and attack a bandit next to her.

Shain Volgornd - February 20, 2006 03:34 PM (GMT)
Shain watched inadmiration as Sava easily took down two of the bandits, with one more comming at her. Looking beyond the figth, he saw another with a crossbow amied at Sava's back. Snarling, he whipped out his dagger, throwing it into the gut of the crossbowman. He grunted as the dagger entered, firing his shot off. It went strait into his lower calf. "Mmmmm," was all Shain got out. That hurt like the nine hells. Staggering, he fell to his knees. This envited the last bandit not focussed on Sava. Obviously, he thought Shain would be a much easier kill now. Obviously he was wrong. A maniacle grin swept onto Shain's face. He was not a wounded person in a fight, he was a very pissed off opponent who did not have the time to deal with idiots.

As the man ran in, a club with brass studs at the end raised, Shain slashed with both fighting knive at his stomach. The man fell without being able to attack, his entrails spilling onto the ground. Shain wrinkled his nose at the smell. not the most plesent aroma in the world. hoisting himself off the ground, he winced in pain at the bolt in his leg. Reaching down, he ripped it out. It had not gone very deep at all, just enough to cuase a wagon load of pain. Hewatched as Sava faught the last man, ready to throw one of his fight ing knives into the back of the bandit if it turned ugly.

Nightwind - February 20, 2006 10:09 PM (GMT)
Sava snarled as the bandit she fought stabed her in the side. Warm blood flowed out and Sava fell to her knees. The bandit laughed coming up to her. "See women don't know how to fight." The banit laughed. Sava snarled and dived her dagger into the bandits shoulder. The bandit fell with a cry of pain. "My your god watch you as you fell into the abyss." Sava said in a cruel voice. Sava then slumped to the ground blood pouring from her leg and side. She has a healing spell but when her wounds were this bad she never had the strength to heal herself.

She laid knowing that the bandits were dead. She let out a moan as she tried to sit up but couldn't so she stayed were she was. After a bit she tried again and was able to sit up, and she started to crawl to a tree and leaned on it. When she was by a tree she rested her back on it and closed her eyes as her hand went to the stab mark on her stomach. The blood went on her hand. She greeted the pain and let it go through her body as she didn't move. Her hair sticked to her face as sweat poured down. I feel cold, cold as ice but am sweating, she thought with her eyes closed, I will live, I've had worse wounds then this, the pain will leave, I need my bag, I have herbs and bandages, Sava still thought with her eyes still closed, I've nearly died once but I lived, my journey just begun, she thought now opening her eyes and looked around.

The bandits were dead.

Shain Volgornd - February 21, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
Shain saw that it had indeed turned ugly toward Sava. He was unable to get his dagger in, though, becuase she was directly in front of him. Rushing over to her bag imediantly, hoping to find herbs or anything, he heard as she mumbled about the men being dead. At the sound of rustling, he tuned quiockly. He saw that Sava was pulling herself over to the trunk of a tree. Cursing the aount of blood on the ground, he tore through her pack for anything at all that could help. The one problem was, he didn't know much about herbs. Finaly he found a packet of bandages with plants, herbs Shain thought, and grabbed them. Rushing over to Sava, he knelt next to her. She was mumbling about the men still, or at least that was what it sounded like.

Whispering, Shain told her he had what she needed. "But I do not know how to use them. If you can, you must try yourself, or instruct me." He waited for her answer. He began to try and stop the flow of blood from her wound as he waited, that was one thing he did know. Taking out a dagger, he ripped a hole in her tunic around the wound. He tore a shred from his cloak and placed it on the wound, applying a small amount of pressure. he needed her to tell him what to do, or she might not make it.

Nightwind - February 22, 2006 02:40 AM (GMT)
Sava laughed a bit. "And here I thought everyone knew how to use herbs." She said her eyes looking at the herbs Shain held. "Oh well, anyway, I like to cramble the leaves and put them on the wound then take a bandge thing and wrap it around the wound but I do that with little ones...... There should be a bottle with some stuff in it and there should be a bowl, then cramble the leaves and put it in the bowl, and then put some of the liqoed in the bowl, then stir it up and put it on the wound, then get a bandge on it," she said closing her eyes. "Thats how I would do it." She whispered.

"But the wound needs to be clean." She said calmily almost like she didn't feel pain. "I hate humen form." She mumbled. I wonder if I turn to dragon form it wouldn't hurt so much, but then I don't have the strigth to turn into it, she thought. "Get some water." She ordered. Her eyes opened again. "I can't work with herbs if I don't have a clean wound." She said waiting for the water.

Shain Volgornd - February 22, 2006 02:50 AM (GMT)
Shain listened as Savagave instructions, all but ignoring her comment. He had already slightly cleaned the wound by the rag from his cloak. After he received everything, he rummaged through her pack again, finding all the materials that she had specified. "Water, eh." He looked toward the lake. he would have to be fast to make it there and back again, able t ohelp her still. Tearing off another shred from his cloak, larger this time, he dashed to the shore. Dipping it in the cool water, he rung it out then dipped it again. Once it was as clean as he could get it, he rushed back to Sava. Dabbing her wound with the rag in one hand, he focused on readying the herbs with another. Crushing them in his fist, he reached to where he had placed the bottle of liquid he had found. He hoped it was the right stuff.

He readied the bandages in size, he still didn't know which she would use, he spoke to her. "It's as ready as i understood how to make it. Can you do this your self?" He waited for the response. he needed a way t okeep her awake. he knew what would happen if she drifted off to sleep. He had been in fights enough to know that. Never go to sleep.

Nightwind - February 23, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
"I can do it." She whispered her eyes opened. "Fearing is not helping Shain." She mumbled as she grabed the bowl and pour some of the stuff on the wound. She flinced as it touched. "Bloody stuff." She whispered. She grabed some of the bandges Shain had ready and she tied it around the wound. "There." She said and then pulled her leg closer to her and put the liquidy stuff on the leg wound and her hands shke as she did so. She grabed some more bandge and wraped it anf tied it around the leg wound.

"You would think I would fight without getting hurt since I went to a academy of fighting and being humen for like ten years....." She said had a look of shock on her face. She hit her head with the palm of her hand. She had let out something she didn't want to and now Shain knew about it. "Oh crap." She whispered looking at the wounds again. Know he knows a bit more of my past and he knows I was humen for ten years, she thought angerily. She tightened the bandges on the wounds acting as if she didn't say anything.

Shain Volgornd - February 26, 2006 02:15 AM (GMT)
Shian let a slight grimace cross his face. He did not know how long it had been since he had felt fear, and this moment right now was not its comming again. More like worry than fear. One could never do anything with fear in their heart, least of all an assassin. he did not say anything however. He did not feel it was the right time to do so. Instead, he backed away a step and watched her dress her wound. While watching her take care of herself, he tore off yet another strip of his cloak and began working on the wound in his calf. Not that bad, though it might cause him trouble if not taken care of.

Not truly listening, Shain let what Sava was saying flow through his ears. then she spoke of being trapped as a human for ten years. Shain stopped what he was doing and looked up. Ten years as a human. Not the most memorable experience for ones life. He didn't need his ability to feel other motives or emotions to know that she had just let something she held as as secret loose. he watched as she smacked herself, then went on as if she had never said anything. Shain satr there looking pusled, fighting the urges to chuckle, ask questions, or just give her a stern look. As if she could possibly hide what she had said.

Standing up, he flexed his leg, feeling the pain and the wound. It wouldn't cuase him much trouble. Hopefully he could make it to someone who would be able to properly heal it. Looking down at Sava, he held out his hand. "Can you get up. Is your wound bandaged properly?"

"I'm bandaged properly." She said taking his hand she stood up. She nearly fell but she forced herself to stay up. She let go of Shain's hand and stood there for a bit and then tryed to walk forwerd, she fell to her knees from trying to walk. "By the gods, whats going to happen to me next, what am I going to have to get shot by an arrow again like in Taras when I was with Romanus." She snarled in anger and with fury in her eyes. Her thoughts turned to Romanus again. He was a nice freind and he still is, she thought, its odd that all my freinds are men.

"Well, this won't do." She said trying to stand again and was hopefully she would stand without falling again. She stood and didn't fall. "Oh thank the gods." She said smiling that she didn't fall. "So know what do we do now?" She asked walking slowly to a tree and then rested her back to it.

((Sorry its a bit short))

Shain helped Sava up until she was upright, then let go of her hand, watching as she stood. Her waited till she tried to walk, then fell to her knees. His eyebrows rose for a second at the mention of Romanus. He knew the man as an assiciate, a one time employer. He did not make any mention to him at that point however. he was ready to offer his assistance if Sava needed it, but he did not make a move to help unless she asked. He was very much like that with himself. He would refuse help unless he truly needed itand showed the same courtesy to others. he saw that this time she stood up, Sava did not fall. A grin crept onto his face, slight admiration for the woman. It took steel in someone to take a blow such as that and still stand, even if the wound was tended.

"I do not know. I had no true plans at the bar. As a matter of fact, I was looking for employment until you happened to draw the attention of the guards. not that I blame you." He hoped she had not taken offense at what he had said. As he waited for a response, he heard a rustle behind him. Suddenly he remembered the one bandit he let live. Whipping around, his dagger flew from his hand to the leg of the man, start a yelp of pain in his throat. Looking over his shoulder, he appoligized to Sava. "Sorry, but I left one alive to question." Walking over to the man, he knelt over him. "Well now, good sir, what gave you the smart idea to come barging in to this little camp," Shain asked in a deadly whissper. The man just stared at him in fright.

(Don't worry 'bout it."
