Nariwa Kona stood in the middle of the temple arena. There were only a few around this day, which was actually busy compared to how it was normally empty. Ever since the war, since that orc had gotten him, and since he had met that Blaez ninja, he had been doubting things.
Sitting down cross-legged, he unbuckled his katana and set it in front of him, and did the same with his Lightning Blade. Carefully, he unstrapped the wrist sheaths he had made for himself, and set down the two daggers last. Closing his eyes, he meditated.
He thought about the situation, where Blaez had managed to get to his throat. What was that? A 10 foot fall in a three point stance. That was nothing for somebody as strong and quick as Kona. Perhaps Blaez was somehow quicker? Or maybe just as quick.
No. I paused. I gave him the chance to get at me. he thought, and it seemed to echo around his head for a few moments. "I need to train more." he said outloud, and thought of somebody that could possibly help him. Veronna was the only one that came to mind, but she was no doubt busy with that disgusting Romanus character.
Who? Who could he think of that could help him in his quest to solve this? The people inside the arena had actually come here to possibly learn something from him or Veronna. They could not teach him anything.
Hmph...
He thought, laying in a small crevasse between a platform and the ceiling, he was using the reflection in a piece of glass he had found, to watch Kona meditate, and heard the statement.
"I need to train more."
He smiled and sat up, looking down upon the figure he had somewhat equalled earlier. He set his legs over the edge and began to kick them back and forth.
Konahomaru sat there for a few minutes, not moving at all. His unblinking white eyes did not betray the direction he was looking in, and it made everyone currently inside the arena somewhat nervous. They all immediatly started trying their earnest, working as hard as their bodies would allow them with their opponents or excersises. Then, Kona felt something. He let it go at first, but the feeling kept nagging at him.
Taking his mind off of his reveiw of the happenings with Blaez, he reached out with his feelings, and something was indeed off kilter somewhere in the arena. Above him? Or behind him? It was hard to tell. reaching out farther, he now tapped into the power of the Detect Evil spell. Yes, there was somebodey here with an evil alignment.
Nariwa Kona stood, and gazed around. His aura seemed to imitate his action, the small lightning bolts swayed one way, then the other, as if searching in the dark for a nearby object. Could it be? It was worth a shot. "If you are there, do something that only I would be able to recognize." he whispered. If it was Blaez, he would hear at least part of that if not all.
