Title: Out of a job
Shain Volgornd - January 15, 2006 01:00 AM (GMT)
Shain looked around the common room as he entered the inn. There was a wide variety of people here, some scruffy, others with more class. With the cowl of his cloak pulled low over his eyes, he studied them. He was low on gold and needed a job sutible for his talents.
Sitting down at one of the vaccant tables, he wated for the surving maid to ask what he would like. "Elven wine, red if you have it ," Shain remarked when she appeared. She dissapeared, and returned a couple of seconds later with the wine. Taking a sip, Shain began to listen and watch.

The door opened wide as a young looking women came in and looked around. Sava had her hood up so no one could see her face and she start to head towards a table in a corner and sat down then looked around as a maiden came to Sava and asked her what she wanted.
"I will have wine please." And the maiden left and after awhile came back with wine and Sava gave the maiden a coin then the maiden left and Sava siped her wine and then looked around again. She liked her humen form since she can go to places without getting killed.
Shain Volgornd - January 16, 2006 01:31 AM (GMT)
Shain watch as the door opened and the figure entered. They, like he, kept their cloak covering their face. Looking down at his still mostly full cup and then back to the figure. Pearing around the room, Shains white, unseen eyes narrowed. Only he and the newly arrived kept their cowls up. This might be an oppertunity for a job. Setting his cup down, Shain slowly rose and approached the table at which the newcomer sat.
"Exuse me, but do you mind if I join you," he asked.

Sava looked up at the man with her cloak over her face so that no one can see her and when she looked up see saw around her demons with red eyes and they were looking at her. Sava shaked her head and then looked around her and the demons were gone and there were the people drinking and other stuff.
She looked back at the man. "Sit if you want but I must tell you I don't have anything to interest you." She said looking the man up and down then back at his face. She taked another sip of her wine then looked around again then after awhile she looked at the man. "You may call me Sava." She said.
Shain Volgornd - January 16, 2006 08:09 PM (GMT)
[I]Nothing to intrest me, aye[I] shain thought."Perhaps you don't, perhaps you do," he responded to this "Sava". "Lets not make any asumptions just yet." Pulling back a chair, Shain slowly sat down, hand resting on the hilt of his dagger underneath his cloak. After all, what was the point of trying to find a "job" and getting killed himself.
"So, Sava, what brings you to Taras," Shain questioned, hoping to get an answer that would bring in gold.
Nightwind - January 16, 2006 08:30 PM (GMT)
"I have been in Taras a long time and I'm here for a nice time." Sava responded and thought about the time she was running away from gaurds and that is way she had her hood up so no one would see who she is.
The door opened and Sava looked over there as people came and sat down and she still watched like there was nothing else to watch but after awhile she looked away and back at the man. "Whats your name since I said my name and it is rude to not reply to a name." Sava said as the door blew open and cold air came in and the wind was stroung that it blew Sava's hood off her head and you could see her face that looked young and beautiful but her eyes looked strange that were black with green specks and they had the look of comforting and menace and her hair was black and green and mesy.
She looked a bit shocked as a few people looked over at the table she sat at and they had strange looks on their faces and Sava just sat there shock a bit that people saw her and since the gaurds are after her so she put the hood up again with shaking hands.
Shain Volgornd - January 18, 2006 01:39 AM (GMT)
Shains own hand snatched at his hood to swtop it from comming off.He noticed the way that that others had stared. He felt a small pang of sympathy. He himself knew what it was like to be looked odd at because of his facial features. "My name is Shain my lady."
Looking around, he gave an unseen glare to those still looking. He held no true feelings for this human, but would not let others gape for no reason. He turned to look at the door to see if any new people had come in. It was only the wind.
"now back to the talk of buisness, my lady." He felt that flattery ussually came in handy in situations like this. "Not meaning to pry, but from personal experience i know a face like that can cause trouble with people. Especially if they know your heratige." Shain added in a low voice to himself, but not carring if Sava heard.

"Don't call me lady." Sava said looking around as if trying to see if someone was coming at her but no one was. Good no one called the gaurds, Sava thought. She looked back at Shain wondering who he is and why he wanted to sit here.
"Why did you ant to sit here Shain." She said smiling under her hood as her strange eyes looked him over a bit then at the door as more people came in and they were gaurds they looked around then sat down and ordered something and Sava thought they were off gaurd at the moment but Sava had the look of fear on her face as she looked at them.
She siped her wine and still looking at the gaurds as the gaurds talk and their were five and some of them were looking around as if they were looking for someone and Sava bet that they were looking for her but she didn't know.
Shain Volgornd - January 20, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
Shain was midly surrprised at this persons directness. Well if she could be, then mabye he would entertain her for a bit. "I am here in Taras looking for a job that qualiffies for my specific talents. You have nothing to fear from me. The gaurds and th Watch are not very fond of me. I, like you, have features and also an heir itage that sparks their hate."
Shain took a sip of his wine. Lets see how she takes that for an answer.
Nightwind - January 20, 2006 07:18 PM (GMT)
She nodded her head in acknowledgement. "Am sorry Shain but I have no jobs for you since am in Taras for good times not giving jobs to anyone." Sava said looking around again mostly at the gaurds as they still talked and looking around and they saw Sava and Shain and one pointed at her and after awhile of talking the gaurds stand up and started to head towards Shain and her.
The first gaurd to talk look like the leader and he talk to Sava. "Ma'am please take the hood of your head." He said a bit demanding but Sava just sat there as if she didn't hear them but after awhile the gaurd lost his patience and grab Sava on the shoulder and made her get up and then Sava pulled free of the grip and her hood fell off her head and her face was showing but it wasn't a nice look it was a look like you were seeing a dragon in rage. Sava slowly pulled her Scimitar out.
"Its her, kill her." Said the leader as Sava slashed at the close's gaurd and all the peopel in the tavern were running around not knowing to do.
Shain Volgornd - January 21, 2006 02:25 AM (GMT)
Shain Threw of his claok as the gaurds attacked. It stopped three of them in their tracks. "Its the the demon elf, the half breed,' one yelled. "Yes, and that frase offends me you stuoid bastards," Shain replied. grabbing his wine, he threw what was left of it in their faces. All three reeled around, screaming for the burn in their eyes. Fast as lightning, Shain Whipped his dagger out and stabbed all three of them at the bases of their skulls, killing them instantly.
Looking over at Sava, He watched to see if she was in trouble. from the looks of things, she was pretty handy with that scimatar, whirlling it about expertly. She didn't have any enemys? He smirked, thinking that he should charge for helping her. but that would probably anger her, and he didn't want to fight scimatar with dagger.
Nightwind - January 21, 2006 06:17 PM (GMT)
She looked at Shain to see what he was doing but while she did the gaurd she was fighting stabed her in the gut and she gasped and fell to her knees. She snarled in anger and she stand up again and steped back looking as fury as a dragon and when she was back she started to chage.
Her head grew longer and forming a dragon shape and a tail started form and it looked like a whip and her body formed a dragons body and after awhile she was a fully formed dragon.
Her head turn toward the gaurd with manece in her eyes and then her head shot out towards the gaurd and she grabed him with her jaws then swinged him around the he went flying in the air. All the peopel around were running out the door in fear of the black and green but small dragon.
Shain Volgornd - January 22, 2006 01:59 AM (GMT)
This was unexpected. Shain looked at what had been Sava, now a not too large dragon, but a dragon nonetheless. And it was between him and the door. "Nine Hells'" he muttered. He did not want to end up eaten by Sava. He thought he might be able to reason with her. . . hopefuly.
Dropping his dagger and slowly backing away, he addressed the creature in front of him. "I see that you do not need my assistance. I shall not attempt to harm you. Not that I could," he decided to add, just to be safe.
Nightwind - January 22, 2006 02:13 AM (GMT)
Sava let out a rowring laugh. "Pick up your weapon fool or unless you plan on getting killed by the gaurds." She still laughed then went to the door and hit at it and it fell with a thud.
"Oh bloody..." She didn't say all of what she was going to say as a arrow was sunddly in her foot and she rowred in anger and pulled it out then she busrt throw the door and hit the arhcer that got her and she had kill him with her tail.
"Are you coming." She turned her head towards Shain. "If you hurry then you can climb on my back so we can get out of here." She said.
Shain Volgornd - January 22, 2006 02:37 AM (GMT)
This was quite an adventure. The last thing that he had expected to do after sitting down with the unknown women was to end up ripping a taver appart. "might I ask where yo... we are headed," he asked while hoisting himself up. Looking back at the inn as we waited for the reply, Shain added,"You know that is going to cost somebody."
