Title: A Very Serious Problem.
Nariwa Kona - November 12, 2005 06:51 AM (GMT)
Konahomaru kicked open the temple doors and ran inside. Veronna was in his arm, still unconcious and breathing heavily. On the way, he had used Bless on her several times and was near fainting himself. His aura was quickly fading as he became weaker and weaker. This had only happened once before, and the solution was quite painful.
"Ocar!" he shouted, as loud as his body would allow. Veronna moaned and turned a little. "Its alright master. I brought you home. I just need to find Ocar." Kona looked around frantically, but saw no sign of any direction anywhere. "If only you were half-concious I could get directions." he said to Veronna, as he ran through another set of doors.
Kona ran down hallway after hallway. Screaming and shouting, and was almost panting like a normal human did when out of breath. "Ocar! Where are you? It is Kona! I have Veronna here! She is in great trouble!" Kona looked around again. For a place that appeared as small as it was, it certainly did have size.
Kona approached another set of doors, and kicked those open. The private training grounds he and Veronna had been in when she had helped him. It was now time to return that favor. The grounds were in the center, or at least close, as far as Kona knew. He stood there, sweat rolling across his body along with ever weakening sparks. "Ocar! For your wives sake! Please show yourself!"

Ocar was up in his own room when he more felt then heard someone come in, sort of like how Veronna always sensed someone come into the temple. He could tell something wasn't right, and when he finally heard shouting he got up from his chair and ran down the stone stairs to the first floor.
He heard a man shout again and heard him say it was Kona. Ocar had only met Kona once before, and he wasn't sure how much he could trust him, but Veronna had trusted him for quite awhile, so he should also. He walked through a doorway that lead to the training arena, and when he saw Kona holding Veronna he ran to them. He lifted Veronna out of Kona's arms, who also looked very tired. He looked down at Veronna who looked as though she had been sparring all day.
"What happened?" he asked stroking Veronna face with his fingers. He felt his wife shaking slightly in his arms, and her breath came in heavy bursts. He would help Kona out, but he held Veronna instead, he knew Kona could take care of himself.
Ocar walked over to one of the benches that lined the arena wall, and laid Veronna down on it, slowly lowering her head down. He was thankful that Veronna was so small she could fit on the bench. He then went over to Kona and put his arm under Kona's and help him walk over to another bench and sat him down. He then went back to Veronna and bent down and kissed her on the forehead and stroked her cheek again.

Konahomaru almost fell off of the bench, but caught himself. He had never been this off balance in his life. He watched Ocar tend to Veronna, and saw how much he cared for her. A honorable thing indeed. Then Ocar asked what had happened.
"I found her at the Song of Elves... I walked in and she fainted, apparantely having a vision. She came too not long afterwards, but was very afraid. Something about standing alone on a battlefield, with dead bodies all around her. She was still pregnant in that vision. I calmed her, and we had a drink. Milk, mind you. Not Ale. Then she had another vision.
"Im not sure exactly what happened, but in that one she had gotten in a fight with somebody that looked very simliar to her. A drow woman. I could see it becuase I entered the ethereal realm using Soul Walk. In her vision she was blasted by magic force several times, as I saw before it ended. The other woman saw me coming to kill her, and escaped. I think it was a spirit haunting her, but it could have been something else." Kona explained. Then his sight started to wane, and his own breath came heavy.
Kona did not allow himself to faint. He drew one of his Masterwork daggers and cut himself, the pain wakened him up immediatly. "Aaah..." he groaned, accepting the pain as it came to him. "Dont worry about me Ocar. Veronna needs to see a healer. I have done all the blessing I can possibly muster. As for my own energy, I have to do something that you may find disturbing. If I become unconcious myself, dont worry."
Kona stood up and drew his Lightning Blade, and started to walk away from Ocar and Veronna. He didnt want them to be caught by any stray bolts.

Ocar listened to Kona tell him what had happened and it didn't calm him any. Last he knew Veronna hadn't had any problems with visions, and that would be something she would have told him. He looked over at Kona as walked away a bit, wondering what he was going to do. It didn't matter right now, he was sure Kona could take care of himself. He wasn't sure if he should get a healer or not, normally Veronna was okay and would get over it, but it would be best to get a healer then regret it later. He knew who to get, and she should be close by hopefully.
Ocar stood and whistled through his teeth, and a few seconds later he heard paws running down the hall, and then his wolf ran in looking at him and at Veronna. He walked up to Ocar and looked up at his master with brown eyes, waiting for some form of orders. Ocar bent down and pat Kasorn on the head and whispered a few words in his ears, and the wolf turned and trotted away out of the arena.
Ocar hoped that Larelle would hurry, for he wasn't to sure how bad Veronna was, and he knew his sister could help. He was so glad that he had his sister and brother in Taras, but he wished the rest of his siblings and his parents would come to live here, for Imythess was a wonderful land. He looked back at Veronna, "Don't worry my love, just hold on a little while longer." He kissed her again and stroked Veronna's head, hoping she was alright.

Konahomaru took a deep breath. About to endure the second most painful thing that a person can ever experience, and yet it would do good. What a evil irony. The most painful thing? Having your humanity stripped from you only to ever gain parts of it back through example. Enough brooding, time for action.
Kona spread his legs at shoulder to shoulder length, and drew his Lightning Blade from the sheath on his back. Immediatly sparks started to cackled across it and channel into Konas body, giving him a little electrical energy. But he would need more. Having your electric current as a part of your life force certainly had disadvantages. Kona held the blade in the air, and started to concentrate the energy of the sword into the sky.
A dark storm cloud quickly formed in the sky above, and started to brim with electrical power. Kona felt the opposing energy build inside himself, it wouldnt take long for the bolt to hit...
Crack!
The bolt struck the blade and immediatly sped into Konahomarus body, throwing him to the ground. He convusled and shook rapidly as the current raced throguh him a million times, at the speed of light. "Raaahhh!! Aaaahh!" he screamed in pain, as the agony filled every part of his body. Then it stopped, but the pain was still there.
The same effect as when he got struck by lightning when he was sparring with Veronna that day. Konahomaru felt immense power, and his aura went wild and was throwing its own miniature lightning bolts around him. Then it calmed as he took control of it. His vision was hyper, leaving a motion blur. Kona turned and saw what seemed to be a wolf running off, and Ocar was leaning over Veronna. "What was that?" he asked, his voice sounded like metal scraping stone. It must have charred me a little...

(Sorry I haven't replied for quite awhile, I can't get on all that often)
Ocar heard screaming, but didn't look over at him, for he cared more for Veronna then Kona, but that did not mean he disliked Kona. When he heard Kona speak to him, he looked up at him and stood. "That was just my pet, he is going to go get my sister who can help Veronna, hopefully..." he looked back down at Veronna, still worried. "Larelle is a capable healer and knows more then even that, I just hope she is in the city." Ocar clenched his jaw, but it wasn't all that visible, when he started to get stressed out, or worried he would clench his teeth together as hard as he could.
He knew when he married Veronna his life wasn't going to be easy anymore, but he didn't expect this, well he should have been more prepared, and didn't know what would happen next, ethier to him or Veronna, or even their unborn child. He made him think about what might happen, or could happen, it made him almost scared in away, for no one knows what the future holds.
Which led him to think about his family, and their safety, and the safety of theri families. He cared for alot of people, which that was his weakness, and would always be his weakness. But it also was a strenght, though many would argue that point, but now he had drawn Veronna into his weakness, and that made him worried, for his wife had always done things alone, but he could tell that she was getting use to having friends, which made him glad. Kona was an example of how well Veronna chose friends, and showed that her friends would stand up for her and protect her. Ocar didn't make a whole ton of friends, but he was friendly and that made people enjoy his presence.

((Thats ok. ))
Konahomaru was reassured when Ocar told him he sent for a healer. Even though she was a god, her child was not. Something she had failed to realize, and that is why Kona was so eager to get her help. She didnt need it nearly as much as the child did. And Kona had promised an oath to make sure that the child grew strong. He would not break that promise.
"Good..." said Kona, stopping in mid sentence. That breath came hard to him, a strange feeling. Almost as if somebodey had thier hand inside his chest, and was squeezing his lungs shut, stopping them from taking breath. Kona tried again. "... the chi..." the taste of blood came to his mouth, and he put his hand to it. His mouth was full of blood. He felt around with his tongue. Nothing, except some burns from the lightning strike.
"I have... to... go." said Kona. He started away from the arena, and was heading towards the temple quarters. He had no home, and didnt think he would be able to make it to a tavern. Veronna wouldnt mind if he used a guest room. Kona needed to rest and repair himself.
