Title: Not so different
Description: Rowen

Jasmine of Laurudy - October 26, 2005 03:26 AM (GMT)
The air smelled of sulfur and the sky was blanketed in dark ash clouds. They permitted very little sunlight if any at all. Instead of rain falling to the ground, burning ash slowly drifted to the warm stone. The mountains that surrounded Therab Volcano were a formidable place. It was always dark, hot and reeked of sulfur. The volcano in the center of it all was the biggest and the most menacing. Long and deep rumbles came from within. Smoke billowed out from the mouth and went on as far as the eye could see. This was Jasmine’s home. The heat, the fire, the sulfur, the hot ash. It was a perfect home for one such as Jasmine.

Jasmine sat in a chamber she made herself at the bas of the volcano. Her elemental stood beside her with her arms folded. The was open to the outside and connected to a narrow road that stretched along the edges of the mountain. It was a dangerous path. Calphurnia flew high above, hidden in the ash clouds, roaming Jasmine’s newly claimed territory and home. She spotted a stranger walking along the narrow path and flew back toward her master. Jasmine got the message and smiled. She did not get many guests. Not many people were brave enough to venture to the depths of the Gwilkith Mountains. She stayed in her seat and looked over to her fire elemental, The fiery beast nodded and leapt into the stream of lava just outside the chamber. Jasmine looked outside the chamber and saw the brave stranger a ways ahead. She closed her eyes and concentrated her thoughts.

“Come to me, brave one. I wish to have an audience with you.”

Rowen walks closer to where the voice was coming from wondering thinking. Might she be some one to try and kill him? No not out here no man would dare come out here after a vampire only a fool. But I was a female’s voice and it wasn’t really a voice it was more of a thought. So it wasn’t a man. He walks forward to the woman sitting there.” I am sorry I am just passing through your domain I shall leave immediately if you wish it.” Hopping that he would be aloud to stay in her presents

Jasmine’s piercing eyes stared him down. Her grin was wicked. Fire danced in her eyes as she stood up. She had to admit that the stranger was a little brave. He was also beautiful, very attractive. Jasmine stepped down from her throne like seat, never letting his get away from her’s. She slicked her hand and there was a loud boom to the rear of the room. Her fire elemental had been summoned and moved to the entrance of the room, preventing any chance of escape. The room was dark with the big fire beast blocking out what little light was coming through.

“So you wish to be in my presence longer then?” Jasmine asked with a raised eye brow. She searched his thoughts and walked over to the man. Her face was inches away from his, looking into his eyes. She began to walk around him, a hand sliding on his shoulders. She smelt of ash and smoke. The fire elemental never let him go of her sight.

“So be it then. It is not like you had a choice anyway. You have come into my land. Now you are prisoner here until I say otherwise. Understood?”
