She smiled and then her expression changed to an appaled one
Oh my gosh I have not even introduced myself. My name is Rachelle Ulekandra Therese Olivia Kingsly, a bit of a mouthful so just call me Ruto. Thats what they all call me
She smiled again. That was the first time she had told any one her name in full, maybe she could tell him some of the things she had been afraid to tell others, things she kept bottled inside.

She walked along the caves, it was dark and the floor was wet and cold. She felt around the walls. She was now quite far in and was regreting that she had reglected to bring a torch. She saw some one close. It was the man she had fought in the Acadamy of Arms! She felt stupid being so temperamental like she was and leaving him standing there.
I hope he'll forgive me
She thought to herself...

Kuya turned and saw Princess Ruto. He smiled at her even though he remebered their last encounter turned out to be a bad one. But He wasn't one to hold grudges, so he stood up and went up to Princess Ruto and bowed to her.

"Hello." he said.

She loooked at him and smiled.
It has been long since I deserved respect like that so do not trouble yourself. I have been rude and I am sorry.
She felt uncomfortable, she had not been used to saying sorry, but she had to and he deserved an expanation. The problem was she didn't have one... She stood tall,as if trying to make sure all the remaining pride that she possesed did not slip away like water in cupped hands.

(Hey did you know that Laoura is letting us choose a gift? Read the announcements! :lol: )

Kuya looked at her. He knew that she was trying to keep whatever pride she had left. "It's ok to let your pride fall sometimes Princess. Keeping the pride bottled up inside you can be a bad thing. But please if you must than ignore my words princess." Kuya said bowing again.

She looked at him. She was wrong to judge him the way she did. His inside was quite utterly different from the one he was trying to portray, and the one he was inside, she thought, was much better.

Where are you headed? I must admit I am just here for the beauty of darkness and quietness, though your arrival was much appriciated. Quietness can get very boring!

"I am headed nowhere. I am here for the same reason as you. The quiet here is different. Nothing interesting had happened in Imythess for a long time besides Goddess Laoura's celebration." Kuya answered.

No I agree. I seem to be by myself a lot lately. Have you seen the demon Lachesis? Well I have been with her for a while as well.
She was happy at last. Things lately hadmade her depressed, especially the coming of Lachesis, even though she didn't show it.

"Sometimes I wish that something exciting would happen you know? SOmething that would cause all the beings of Imythess to wake up. Nothing bad just something exciting." Kuya said hopefully.

Yes I agree. But really I cant complain. Oh and I didn't realise, but word spreads fast, about you being knight of Imythess!
She looked at the road ahead anxiously.
Do you want to walk?
She wasn't fussed.

Kuya nodded. "Sure, I would love to. And about me being a knight. I haben't seen many knights around lately. Maybe that's why people are talking." Kuya said.

She walked slowly and nodded. Her eyes darting arounding looking for things that could attack, though she knew that there wouldn't be any she had to be sure. Things were not all as they seemed in Imythess as she had found out the hard way...

Kuya was suprised by Princess Ruto's alertness. "Princess, take a deep breath and relax, it's ok. There's no use worrying yourself. Your safe with me." Kuya said calmly to her.

She walked past a puddle of water and eyed it suspiciously. She wasn’t sure what was in there but she was sure it wasn’t nice. She also eyed Kuya suspiciously; she didn’t know what had caused this sudden change of heart towards her. What ever it was she was glad of it and hoped it would last. There was rumor going around that there was going to be a war, and she didn’t want to be angry with the knight of Imythess. That would be stupid and dangerous at the same time.
[B] I hear there is going to be a war. Unfortunately that seems to be all I know about it. Do you know who it is against, or if it is just a rumor? [B]
[I] She hoped the rumor was wrong. Though she liked fighting she thought it a waste of lives and time. [I]

While she was talking the light became brighter and filled the caverns. Finally the end of the darkness.
Where are you headed now? I’m going to the forest, Noorwood I mean.
While she waited for a reply she scanned the horizon. The darkness would soon be as bad as in the caverns.
Where are you staying?

"The war is undecided yet. Rumors are just rumors as of right now. It's to early to tell yet. As for where I am to go? I think I'll stay here for a while since it's nice and quiet." Kuya answered her. Ruto had changed since they last saw each other. And it was for the better.

Kuya chuckled a little. Only a person with alot of heritage could say that name. He knew that a secret deserved another. But he wasn't about to tell her that he had become the God of Day. So he remained quiet hoping that she would do the rest of the talking.

Would you like to stay with me at my house? I still feel awful. Maybe that would be an appropriate appology.
She was starting to walk a bit faster, she had not realised how long she had been in the cave and did not want to get stuck in the darkness.
She thought momentarily about the silence. It may have been awkward but some thing made it not. She suddenly felt happy and proud to be walking with this person, people seemed to be eying her jealously, she was lucky. She had never felt proud or privileged with her father or mother, she had just felt out of place. This was different. The difference was that of royalty and importance, and pride and good heartedness.

Kuya thought of this for a moment. "Well thank you. I would be honored to spend some time at your home." Kuya said smiling. "And yes it's more than enough for an apology."

It was getting dark. He wondered how they were going to find a way out. If they got lost he would have to use his god powers...

She smiled warmly.
Then we shall have to go this way.
she said pointing in the other direction. She started walking quickly.
It will not be long if we walk briskly. It is only a short distance away and we have all ready covered quite a bit of it. We shall be there before the sun sets comepletely. I am sure of it

Kuya nodded and let Ruto lead the way. He had never been in a house of another person before in a long time. It seemed to him like an eternity before he had such good friends.

"Okay. I'll follow." Kuya said.

demus had herd the very end of this conversation as he too had been traveling the way they were and when he herd that they were coming back towards him he panicked and attempted to climb a nearby ledge to evade them finding him and assuming he was eaves dropping, and in doing so he neglected to remeber that in the dark he was not as agile as normally so, and he failed misserably at his attempt to hide himself and fell , in an attempt to lighten the blow he stretched his wings out as a panicked reaction, the last thing he herd before he hitting the ground and falling in to un-councious state was the loud crack of his left wing striking the ground and breaking a rather large number of the supporting bones within, then nothingness.....he lay sprawled out in the path in a pathetic state...
