Title: Watch out

Munwithurix - September 26, 2005 01:16 AM (GMT)
Tail swishing back and forth Munwithurix hid behind a boulder, someone was coming and she was going to attack them, alright she knew it wasn't the best plan but when you want to act dragon then you have to give into it, especially when you haven't for a long while. Her acid glands were filled up and her claws were just sharpened and ready to kill.

The day was early and travelers were going through the mountains with good things to steal. The noises of carts caught her ears and she crouched down even lower and her tail stopped moving, a black dragon was sorta hard to miss if you didn't hide good enough, but she was an expert and she was not going to be seen.

The carts were now in view and she got ready to jump, there were atleast three carts coming around the bend, when she could see all three carts real well she would attack. It was time, she leaped out from the boulders and jumped at the carts, they were somewhat prepared but not for a dragon, people started to shout but it was to late she was on top of them and destroying one of the carts, arrows were being shot at her but she didn't flinch.

They couldn't do anything against her and they were going to die if no one saved, which was unlikley because they were in the middle of nowhere and no body could here the people yelling, screaming and dying.

((Okay if I reply? Or is it for somebody?))

One person could, but he wasn't the one to step in and stop it. A little way back from where the Dragon ad ambushed the merchant train, a little figure had set himself into a nook in the cliff wall.

The Half-Drow was seated in a small amount of darkness, sunlight not angleing right to reach him, and was wrapped in a hooded black cloak. These two things combined helped the eye miss his form, as long as they didn't spot the two glowing red eyes peering out.

A smile etched on his face as he watched the slaughtering. Stirling had been traveling with the group, going over the mountains towards his own desires, when he caught a foul smell on the breeze. It was faint, and had he not had his Elf heritage, it would have been missed. It was then that he concealed himself, and the Thief was glad that he did.

Watching with his glowing red orbs, he saw the merchants cower behind rocks and debri as the hired guards tried to patheticly fight the Black Dragon. They had a slightly good strategy, with a few spearmen protecting firing archers behind them, but this was easily overcome.

Fools! he thought, Trying to fight a mighty Black Dragon? Ha! It would take an entire army to even weaken one, and a Hero to finish it off. Still, if it could be befriended... Insidious thoughts through through his mind as the helpless Merchants were slaughtered before him.

(Yes it is okay for you to reply, I just forgot to put open on the topic)

Munwithurix's claws slashed and people screamed, there were a few people fighting still but they were just about finished and the other people who didn't fight were running back down the trail. She laughed to herself as she bit down on a man with a spear, her yelled but she bit harder and he stopped, the taste of blood went down her throat, throwing the body aside she jumped at the last few archers.

Before she knew it the fight was over, it made her sad for she wanted more people to kill, but there was no one else unless she wanted to go for the few that got away, which she didn't.

Looking around she saw a cart that had something glittering in it, she moved closer and saw it was a chest full of gems and gold! Grabbing the cheste she looked through it and it was full of everything she loved, even a few emeralds, her favourite gem.

There were some exspansive weapons and some more gold and jewels in boxes. She picked up one of the bodies and bit down on the arm, it severed and she crunched down on it, it was good but a little to much cloth. As she ate the arm something smelled alive somewhere. She got excited and swallowed the arm, then she jumped up onto higher ground and smelled the air, someone was somewhere and they weren't very far.

She jumped down from the boulder and kept smelling the air, she then thought she heard something, maybe not but she kept walking down the trail where the people had ran wondering what was it she was smelling.

The Thief frowned. The dragon was alerted to his precence, catching the scent of Half-Drow and possibly by his small chuckle. When the Merchants began running down the mountain slope, he couldn't help but laugh. A few minutes ago they were bragging about how their clothes were finer, or their wife was the prettiest, or son the strongest. And now they were fleeing like little girls.

The frown deepened as the Black Dragon cam e closer, closing the distance betweem them. To jump out and run would be certain death, as no doubt the chance of the hunt would excite it into slaying him quicker. What Stirling was hoping for was that the hunger of the beast would have been satesfied on the corpses, and the lust for treasure and searching for more would have been halted by what they already had. But this was not to be so.

He released a heavy sigh. There was no possible way for him to escape now, as the proximity of the dragon stemmed any chance of running, and his pathetic array of weaponry and skills wouldn't be enough to keep himself alive. Settling down in the nitch that was now his prison, the Thief pulled his hood back and closed his eyes. Stirling, at least, was going to try the only option left to him. And that was to bluff his way out.

Munwithurix - September 28, 2005 06:31 PM (GMT)
Munwithurix trotted down the path, her nose smelling anything that might be what she was looking for. Then she walked passed a hole in the rocks and she caught the smell of something, stopping and then she turned and walked back a couple of paces, then her eyes studied the nitch. But she did not need her eyes to tell someone was in there, smiling to herself she filled her acid glands, she then casted the spell ebon eyes.

And there in the hole a live person, he must have fled when she attacked the caravan, she breathed on him which would make him come out because her breath was disgusting and smelled of blood and acid.

Getting excited she lashed her tail from side to side, the way a cat would do if it was hunting, many people think dragons were slow and not very smart but they are very agile like a cat, and stronger then one, and they are very smart.

Getting somewhat impatient and growled, then she decided she should threaten him, "I have found you, you now have to come out or I will spit acid at you, or burn you, or I could stab you with my tail and then burn you, that would make a tasty meal. Or maybe I should drown you, no no, that won't work, your meat would be soggy. No, I think the best way to kill you would be to cut you in half and then burn you so that you would be cooked and then I will eat you, but then that means you didn't die slowly, no I have the best idea! I will spit you with acid, and then you will die slowly, but then that still leaves the problem; it will eat your flesh until there is nothing left, but then again I like to watch people suffer for a while..." her tail had stopped lashing, trying to think how to eat him was fun.

"Or maybe I should capture you and eat you slowly, like you know, a hand or a foot every once in a while, or maybe I should start small and just eat a fingers and toes, then when those are gone I will eat your ears and then maybe a little of your nose and then...I will remove one of your eyes, but you will keep one. Then I shall eat a little of your arms and legs. Does that sound like a good way for you to die?" She asked, of course it wasn't a good way to die, but that is what she does, kill people in the slowest way and make them hate their last minuets or hours, or even days.

Waiting for a reply was very hard for her, she had got herself even more excited about how she would kill him, and so she couldn't stand still.

When the dragon gave a breath of air down into the nitch, Stirling almost opened his eyes. It was a foul mixture, but was a little intoxicating if anything. The Half-Drow kept his eyes shut, knowing that opening them would probably be a bad idea. But it was extreamly unpleasent listening to the dragon's pondering on how to kill him.

"Well, those are some good ideas." he finaly blurted out, the urge to add his own thoughts to the matter too great, "But how about this: You get one of the guard's spears and slwoly impale me, letting me slowly die. Then, just before death, you roast me and then consume my flesh. How's that?"

Munwithurix - October 5, 2005 12:24 AM (GMT)
Munwithurix turned her head, surprised that the person spoke, most would be afraid to even talk. "But that still leaves the problem about your meat, I would be damaging yours as I stabbed you," She steared into the hole intently, "how about you come out of your hiding place and we can talk face to face?"

She was getting tired of talking, and soon killing him any way was fine for her. Her tail lashed from side to side, the game had gotten old and soon the man was going to be dead. The acid in her mouth was becoming inviting to use, or her magic like fire, or ice.

"I am going to stab you with my tail barb if you do not come out of your hiding place, so either you die hiding or you die facing death right in the face." she growled at the man.

(Sorry about the short post, I've been busy and I can't think)

Inwardly, the Half-Drow sighed. There was little chance he was getting out of this one. By the sound of the Dragon's voice, dinner time was nigh on approaching. There was but a small hope, a faint glimmer that Stirling could survive. But still, it was unlikely.

"Fine, fine." he called out, opening his eyes and crawling out. Even though the red orbs were uncovered, they kept straight down, starting intot he stone floor. It was all he could to keep his emotions in check.

Sliding down the small rock face to land on his feet, the Thief gave a small bow the Black Dragon, purely out of curtosy. Then he voiced his only hope at survival, keeping his eyes averted.

"Are you sure you want to kill me now? Don't want somebody to talk to, at least for a while? I'm a very good listener..." The faint trace of fear was in his voice, but it was quelled enough for him to speak clearly.
