Title: Wandering around

Zenoth - September 18, 2005 08:34 PM (GMT)
Zenoth entered the grand cathedral, looking around. He felt a tug again, as if it were familiar. He had been feeling such tugs quite often. And he had recently been given two things, of which he didnt know why. He looked at the two objects, buth on gold chains, and put them around his neck and under his shirt. He immediately forgot about them as he looked around.

Meera's hand traced absentmindedly on the wall of the cathedral. She had never been here before. Her gaze was almost immedietly drawn to a partially hidden peice of stained glass that had long ago lost it's place on the actual design. She bent down slowly and picked it up. After brushing off the dirt that had settled on it, Meera walked quietly over to one of the rotted pew that was in a little better condition. She tilted the glass in many different ways watching how the colors of it changed when the light filtered through it and reflected off. When she looked up once again at the rest of the cathedral, that was when she saw the other person. With a smile on her face, she first sensed his alignment, then shrugged and opened her mouth to speak. She said "Hello there. I'm Meera". His alignment did not give her any clues about his personality, but she decided to go for it. For a second, she streched her cramped wings out, then reluctantly brought them back into her body slowly.

He jumped slightly at the sound of a womans voice, and slowly turned his head towards her. "Um hello, Meera.....I'm, um..."He tried to remember the name he had given himself. "Oh yeah, I'm Zenoth." He had trouble remembering anything laely it seemed. It was as if he was getting amnesia again. But he studied Meera. He supposed she would be called pretty, but he didn't care much for looks, instead he liked personality. Someone with no personality slightly bored him.

Nightgazer - September 21, 2005 12:26 AM (GMT)
Meera found it odd that someone had trouble remembering his or her own name, but she shook it off lightly. People had secrets and it was none of her business if they didn't want to share them with her. A half smile settled comfortably on her face when she said "Good to meet you Zenoth. If it's not too intrusive, may I ask what your motive for being here is?" She really did not want to seem nosy, but it was her way of starting a conversation. Absentmindedly, she fingered the peice of glass, occaisionally rubbing the smooth side. After a while though, she slipped it into her pouch. Since she realized how far away they stood from eachother, she stood up again and walked towards him. When she stood in front of him, she waited patiently for an answer. She softly brushed a peice of hair that was in her face back behind her ear and looked over the man she had just met.

"Well, actually I'm searching for someone, but the problem is I'm unsure who of. I hoped a place like this would draw that person, but unless you are an ex-goddess, I much doubt you are the person who can cure my amnesia." He figured he may as well be open with her, he had no one else to talk to. Maybe He could get to know her, and make a friend.

Nightgazer - September 23, 2005 07:11 PM (GMT)
As he spoke, she gave him a small half smile. She replied "sorry, I'm no ex-godess, but I may be able to help you find someone who can help you." Her eyes glowed with excitement. She hoped that she would be able to help this man. It made her frustrated when people were unhappy and she was around. She had a hunch that it was the celestial within her, but she couldn't tell. She found it curious that he had amnesial. She knew what it was, but she wasn't quite sure what it was like talking to someone who had it. She wasn't sure if he would forget who she was right away or if it would take some time. She found herself thinking to deeply and quickly pulled herself back into the present. She didn't want to get too much into this man's business if she couldn't help him. It was for both her own good and the man's.

He smiled broadly. "I would love that. I really want to get my memory back, because I apparantely used to live her, then I left or something. I was told this, and that my appearance had changed, so no one would recognize me...." He sighed slightly, glad she might be able to help. He felt very empty without his memory, and it gnawed at him like a goblin gnawed a bone.

Nightgazer - September 24, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
Meera smiled happily once again, glad she could help. She asked "any specific one that you knew would be able to help you?" Her job would be a lot easier if she had a more specific direction to search in. Once again, Meera's curiousity spoke from the back of her mind. She pressed her boundarys on the man's patience and said "Would you happen to remember how you came across your amnesia." It would also be a lot easier for the ex-goddess if she knew what the source of the problem was. She shifted impatiently on her feet. She began to get antsy after standing still for too long. So she suggested "why don't you walk with me and we can talk about it while enjoying this beautiful cathedral and nature's wonders." Her mind was hoping that he would say yes, but no matter what, she would continue to talk with him.

Zenoth - September 24, 2005 02:39 PM (GMT)
He nodded slightly. "Sure, why not I suppose....." He shrugged. "I don't know which one I'm looking for, the person who told me wasn't specific. And I think I got amnesia in some battle, because when I first came to, there were.....bodies, all around me......" He shivered at the memory of waking up to see hundreds off bodies surrounding him, an entire town worth of them.

Nightgazer - September 24, 2005 02:56 PM (GMT)
Meera frowned while she thought of who he could possibly mean. There were many goddesses that could help him, but he had mentioned that it was an ex-goddess. There was only one that she knew very well and that was the goddess of dark. It was an odd friendship, yet it worked out. The two of them had known eachother since before Ranewen had become a goddess. Meera didn't know if Ranewen could help them, but it was worth a shot. She began to walk forwards and motioned for the man to follow her. A shiver was sent up her own spine as he mentioned that he believed he got amnesia during a battle. She would have been very frightened to just suddenly wake up not knowing anything about yourself and how you got there. She finally spoke her thoughts outloud and said "I am good friends with an ex-goddess, but may I warn you that she was the former goddess of dark. She has very powerful magics and I believe she can help you. Do you wish to go to her. If you want, I will come with you so the first meeting will not be as harsh.." She hoped that he would go to Ranewen because that was one of Meera's good friends and it would be easier to get help from her...at least Meera hoped.

((Ranewen got reinstated as a goddess OOC and IC, but also before that she was not. I am playing that Meera doesn't know she is back as a goddess yet))

Zenoth - September 24, 2005 03:03 PM (GMT)
He walked beside her, listening as she spoke. "Well, any ex-godd or goddess can help, so maybe she is the one who can help me restore my memory......"He didn't care that she was ex-goddess of Darkness, just glad that she was no longer a goddess, or else he would not like her. Being impious was a vice of his, it seemed.

Nightgazer - September 25, 2005 01:07 AM (GMT)
"Allright, so I can take you to her." She said after hearing that it was fine with him that she be the ex goddess of darkness. Then, Meera began to wonder how she was going to find her. After thinking for a few minutes, Meera decided upon her best bet. Ranewen's former temple. Who new, she might still be living there. Meera hadn't seen her friend in a while and she did not know where Ranewen would be hanging out. This was her only lead and she hoped that she could find her there. "I think we might have to go to her former temple." Meera finally said out loud. She gave him a smile and held her arm out, running it along the ruined walls of the temple as they walked. After thinking again for another second, she said "since I have other things to do, how about I give you directions to the temple and we meet again there." She really didn't know how Ranewen would react, and wanted to get there before he did so she could talk to Ranewen beforehand. That was her plan and she thought it would work out just fine.

((what I'm trying to do, is finish of this topic so we can start a new one in her temple. If you don't have a problem with it, here's my plan, I'll start a topic and Meera will talk to Ranewen for a while. Then, I can PM you when you should join the topic. Sound O.K. to you? I don't have a problem if that's not what you want to do...))

Zenoth - September 25, 2005 01:13 AM (GMT)
He froze for aminute at the word temple, but relaxed again. She was an ex-goddess, so it should be fine if he went to her temple. It wasn't like she was a goddess anymore. He looked at Meera for a minute, debating whether he should go or not. Finally, he sighed, and nodded. "Alright, Meera. Just tell me how to get there, and I'll find it eventually, I'm sure."

(That's fine with me, just gimme a PM when i can come in. Should we make another board as well, totally unrelated? I still want to rp.....but is fine if u dont want to. I will be waiting for a PM)

Nightgazer - September 25, 2005 01:34 AM (GMT)
Meera smiled and gave out as detailed directions as she could possibly give. She wasn't really used to giving other people directions. Usually, she just knew the way herself and could find it with her mind. She just knew the right direction, it was hard to explain to someone else. She noted that he had froze for a second as she said temple and found it odd, but brushed it off as nothing. She stopped walking and said, "so I guess this is goodbye for now. Good to meet you Zenoth, and I'll see you soon" She gave him a bright smile and winked at him playfully before turning to her left and heading off into the other ruins. She looked over her shoulder once more at him and waved her hand as a so-long, before seemingly vanishing into the rubble of the other ruins.

((sure I'll rp with you in another area. I'll be sure to give you a PM :D I'm not going to make the topic tonight because I'm going to be now, but I'll make it soon.))

Zenoth - September 26, 2005 10:36 PM (GMT)
He watched as she vanished, then shrugged. He looked around the place, trying to think of what he would do for the night. He needed to find somewhere to stay, and finally just sat down on the floor. Eventually he was asleep, and had a dreamless sleep.

The next day, he woke up, then sighed, remembering the night before. He got up, and started his journey to the temple, hoping to find his answer.
